He saw himself as an artist; a sculpture of the flesh. His macabre design was coming together now…he was pleased. He sat back and admired his handiwork, felt the rush of pleasure which came from his achievement. Mine, he thought to himself. All mine.

It's the kind of love everyone is looking for really-aside from the psychic ability and murders though!'
Gruesome read! Another thought-provoking, pulverizing, thrilling and even riveting plotline in book #3 of the ongoing 'Alex Hope' series. With all that's going on, there's still a nicely woven romantic relationship between Alex & Jess -- even with their many contentious back & forth, their feelings of love do shows. Recommended book and series!
4 stars. Another great and intense as fuck installment in this series. It's shorter than the previous two books but still packs quite the punch. I still very much love Alex's character but Jess drove me crazy in this. She was such an ass but she felt more like herself by the end thank goodness. Their romance is still really great despite how annoying she was. The case in this one was full of twists and turns and it was so damn gruesome. My goodness. These books do not skimp on the gore and I can respect that. I know Alex is tired of being kidnapped though. I'm tired for her. She got kidnapped twice in this one. Poor thing. Great read.
Shocking, gripping, and intense is this new case of Alex Hope. The narrative take you step by step until this cruel murderer is captured. I felt a little disappointed about how rude Jess treated Alex sometimes. The story is worth reading, a twisted roller coaster until the end. I definitely recommend it.
Alex and JJ are back with a very "Silence of the Lambs" meet "Psycho" type villian. This was an enjoyable macabre read. I know kinda an oxymoron but if you like crime novels you will love the Alex Hope series. The characters are well done and the plot flows. Yes, there is romance but I feel it is almost secondary to the crime solving but no less enjoyable.
I thought this was great. The setup and delivery was on-point. It was a page-turner.
The relationship is further developing between Alex and Jess in this is growing as they become something of partners in working to solve these heinous crimes. Together they have to use their brains to find the killer.
