About the author

Francesca Simon grew up in California and attended both Yale and Oxford Universities, where she specialised in Medieval Studies. How this prepared her to write children’s books she cannot imagine, but it did give her a thorough grounding in alliteration.

She then threw away a lucrative career as a medievalist and worked as a freelance journalist, writing for the Sunday Times, Guardian, Mail on Sunday, Telegraph, and Vogue (US). After her son Joshua was born in 1989, she started writing children’s books full time. One of the UK’s best-selling children’s writers, Francesca has published over 50 books, including the immensely popular HORRID HENRY series, which has now sold over twelve million copies.

Francesca won the Children’s Book of the Year in 2008 at the British Book Awards for Horrid Henry and the Abominable Snowman. HORRID HENRY is published in 24 countries and is also an animated CITV series. She lives in London with her husband, son, and Tibetan Spaniel, Shanti.

خب این کتاب از این مجموعه واقعا بامزه بود:))
داستان یکی مونده به آخر یعنی داستان مربوط به برنامه‌ی تلویزیونی عالی بود:)) هنری و برادر باادب و خوبه‌ش ،پیتر، هر کدوم به برنامه‌ی تلویزیونی متفاوتی دعوت می‌شن، یکی برنامه‌ی وروجک بازی و دیگری برنامه‌ی "از مگی یاد بگیریم" که حالت آموزشی داره. و داستان وقتی بامزه میشه که این دو نفر به برنامه‌های اشتباه می‌رن :)))
داستان آخر هم جالب بود و مخصوصاً پایانش :))

Por el título parecería que es novela para Halloween con fantasmas, pero nada más lejos de la realidad. Esta novela recuerda a las novelas de Roald Dahl, incluso en las ilustraciones en blanco y negro y el estilo de protagonista. El protagonista es un niño travieso, no malo, que intenta siempre salirse con la suya, aunque no siempre lo consigue.
En esta novela nos cuentan varias situaciones con sus padres, su hermano pequeño y su primo, en las que tendrá que sacar a relucir todo su ingenio para salir victorioso. Es una novela de corte cómica y el fantasma es su primo intentando asustarlo. Novela muy cortita con pocos capítulos y muchos dibujos. Se lee muy rápido.

Have I ever read Horrid Henry before or is just a case of him sounding familiar, anyway I can't recall, this is book six of the series, although from reading this one it seems you could read it in any order. Somewhat interesting and engaging, with just the right amount of humour and not taking itself too seriously injected into the book. I hope at some point to reacquaint myself with Henry and his world.

Horrid henry's haunted house was the first Horrid henry book I read.
I got the book in my school in year 1 at Christmas in 2020.
I also started watching Horrid henry cartoons. it was really fun thanks to Francesca Simon and her imaginative power.

I also loved Tony Ross's drawings. I used to colour the pictures, and I still do now.

This book is about a horrid boy who has one brother named Peter who is a good and well-mannered and everyone loves him and he is perfect Peter and horrid Henry is not good he have no manners so everyone says he is horrid henry and if you are thinking that this book is horror so you are wrong this book is not haunted there’s nothing haunted in this book and I like this book👨‍👩‍👧‍👦😎😇🤣😍👍👍😎 From Hadi

i mean as a child i loved horrid henry, but i really didn’t enjoy this:/
i only liked one story and it was the one with the “ghost”.
i hated the parents i hated henry:/
i think that if i reread the whole series i would like this more but on its own it’s not great.

Je to naša 2. kniha, ktorú o Grázlikovi čítame a musím povedať, že sa nášho 6 ročnému synčekovi veľmi páčia. Výhodou je, že nemusíte knihy čítať v poradí, v akom vyšli, lebo každá kniha tvorí samostatný celok.
