Then. Now. Next.: A biblical vision of the church, the kingdom, and the future

Rate this book
We've been sucker-punched by the future.

We never saw it coming—technological innovation, social and economic altruism, multicultural diversity, multi-national collaboration, and radical religious fundamentalism all arrived with blistering speed.

And we were unprepared.

How did that happen? And, more importantly, how can we ensure our Church does not get caught unawares once again?

This year marks the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation, the moment when Martin Luther nailed his 95 thesis to the Wittenburg Chapel, declaring a new era of Christian engagement with the world. But it's time for a new Reformation—a Revolution of the Spirit, a Revival of the Word, a Renaissance of the Church.

Then. Now. Next. encapsulates all we believe about the future embodied in the present. We will deepen our faith, develop our church, and earn the confidence we're doing what's right as we work with God to heal the world. We'll explore strategies for imaginative Christian living, as well as the tools to re-form our faith.

And who are “we”? Well, now you are. Because with every conversation and corresponding activity, you're helping the Kingdom Come.
