All three are required to make me whole.
I need the love that burns within them all.
I need my dragons."

Then Fliss discovers a shocking secret— Smok’s brothers are still alive.

A journey across fae kingdoms and siren realms reveals the truth. Both of Smok’s brothers have loved her in the past, and plan to love her again. With three dragons at her side Fliss must reassemble the events of her past lives, and piece together who has been hunting her across centuries.

Yet Fliss has roused the wrath of gods... and there will be no mercy.

An exciting fast paced adventure that answers so many questions from the beginning. I thoroughly enjoyed the twists and turns the story took. There were times the story seemed to zoom right by when I would’ve enjoyed more depth especially from each of the characters.
I can’t wait for the next book!

Omg why?!?! Don't leave me hanging here now Megan! Loved it. Emotional, phone gripping, adventure and romance all wrapped up with a pretty cover. No sneak peaks from me. Fliss is about to take you on an adventure that will show you all of her past lives and lovers. And why she is the way she is. You will love this series. Do not read out of order or you will most definitely be lost.

Fliss is living her life with Smock. She can’t shake this feeling like she’s missing something. She isn’t fully happy with just Smock. One day Smock showed her the boat he stole and wants to travel around the world with her. Fliss is confused. She asks why they don’t travel with him flying as a dragon. Smock doesn’t like his dragon and wants to be a human. This bothers Fliss.

Then a lessoc fae comes to kidnap Fliss. She sings her siren song and it drops her on a frozen lake outside a city. She tries to walk to the city lights but the ice breaks and she falls in. A gold dragon comes and rescues her. She awakens to a blonde haired rouge man named Faya crying saying he missed Lucia. He said that’s what she used to be called and that they used to conquer cities together. He is King of a fae city. He conquered the city for her since she was a powerful shield maiden. She sacrificed herself for her people to be married to him and they fell in love. She said she would fight the gods to be with him again so she waited for her to return. When the fae found her, he told them to rescue her and bring her to him. He begs her to stay and see the city. He tells her to hop on his back and flies her around the city. She has missed being on the back of a dragon. She asked how she died. A demon, bees came and pushed her off a cliff. So he went to the sea queen to become something that could defeat the demon. She turned him into a dragon. Fliss thinks this is very similar to what happened to smock. She realizes she is in love with two dragons and has been reincarnated twice. He asked her to stay the night and just pretend they are together “you will only be mine” then he will take her back to smock. The next day they are out flying around wild and fun! While they were out, a red dragon aka Smock comes and attacks the golden dragon. He has come to reclaim his mate. Fliss decides to get into the middle of the fight and gets hurt. Both dragons stop fighting and Smock changes into a man and goes to help her. He tells her how much he’s missed her and was worried. Then Faya says brother and changes into a man. Both men run up to each other. The story of the firebird and the three brothers and how they found Poland. If smock was one, he had two brothers. Smock was Leck. He found the firebird. His two brothers Ruse and Sheck. She wonders if she got with the entire family without knowing it.

The boys wonder if their younger brother Sheck is still alive. They decide to contact a demoness of the underworld to see if he passed through the gates. Fliss is concerned she can’t love two boys at once. They disagree. They say to love them both for the time being. Smock says it’s not like you’re off fooling around with a man I don’t know.

Since they are summoning a death god only death can summon her. Faya prepares the alter with the goddess’s doll and goes to get a deer. Fliss freaks out and tells him not to kill the deer and sets the doll aflame which is an insult to the goddess. The demon appears and is mad but answers Fliss’ questions. The brother is alive and is in the mountains in a cave of wonders. She tells her a woman is coming for her, and she is claimed. They wonder why the goddess didn’t hurt them for the insult. The brothers and Fliss make out and Fliss hopes Faya will help Smock accept what he is now a dragon and not a monster. Then giants come and they have to run and hide in a cave in the mountains.

In the cave, there are jewels everywhere. Then an ice dragon speaks to them. Fliss knows him. It’s Sheck the other brother. He has white hair and is slim. In his dragon form, he is white and long. His skin is cool to the touch. He calls himself Air. They all embrace and laugh. There is no more void in her heart! She feels as if her siren magic is stronger too!

Air leads them all into a beautiful castle inside the mountain. This is where him and Fliss lived as scholars. Fliss admits she can’t read and Air said he’d teach her. Smock is an explorer and Faya is a warrior. Air wanted to learn as much as he could so he built a large library and collected works from around the world. He met Fliss when she was a shoe keeper’s daughter in the Roman Empire. He stole her away in the night from her mean father. They wanted to have children so Air was making new rooms when he dug too deep and awoke a monster from the ground. The shaznick, a forsaken demon named Titus burned her alive. He begged the Baltic Sea Queen to turn him into something that could defeat the monster but the monster got away. So he hid in the cave until they came. Air and Faya think being turned into a dragon was a gift whereas smock thinks it was a curse. She wants all of her dragons and they are fine with sharing her. They used to have to share everything. Sure they will get jealous and compete but that’s what brothers do. Smock says we all love you and we love each other on top of that. They said the only way they would leave is if she told them too. They will never make her choose. Smock says your heart is big enough to love us all even if someone else comes along it doesn’t mean less love just more to go around. They all cuddle. One on each side of her and one in between her legs.

They decide to go to the gods to ask them why Fliss has been reincarnated three times and they all have been turned to dragons. They go to a place where it is eternal night. They meet two gods. A blue lady, zazila goddess of rain, intimacy, weddings and child birth. She leads them to a cottage where cottage is a man god, his skin is bright yellow. His name is Pione the god of thunder. The gods offer them food and said they have been waiting for them. Fliss wonders why? They answer, you are all gods and goddesses. Fliss is really Lada the goddess of Song and Love, Fertility, Youth and Beauty. Fliss asks why she died then? She is told that is why she can’t die and her soul comes back. Only a god can kill another. Smock was the god of War. Faya was the god of Fire. Air was the god of water. All three of the gods were in love with Lada. They all lived in Sparrog, both god and place. Then a Darkness fell over the land her name was Churnabag, goddess of chaos and Lada’s sister. She was jealous and angry at her sister Lada. When Lada went to defeat her sister, she ran away because she wouldn’t kill her sister. So all the gods and goddesses had to face her wrath or run and hide like they did. To escape her, Lada and her lovers all turned themselves human but it wiped their memories of being a god. Churnabag has been hunting her all these years. Killing her over and over again and separating her from her lovers. All three monsters they faced were sent by her.

She wants to keep Fliss alive to keep regenerating her. She wants her to keep losing her loves and feeling that pain over and over again. They want her to kill her sister but Fliss doesn’t think she can. Chernabog is pretending to be Queen natsuka the leader of the dark Fae. Fliss says well if she tries to kill me again I’ll bring myself back to life using my siren song but she learns that you only get one siren song and she used it to bring smock back to life. Chernabog comes with her dark fae and attack. Faya grabs Fliss and flies her away leaving air and smock. Air gets hit in the thigh and is badly hurt but they stay and fight as Faya bring Fliss to a cabin for safety. She is angry and wants Faya to bring her back because she needs all her dragons. Faya said no because they all love her and nothing can happen to her. Not again. They can’t go through her loss again. The three are willing to sacrifice themselves for her. They want to keep her safe. Faya holds her against her will. Faya starts kissing her when the brothers walk in badly injured. She wants to find Chernabog and convince her to leave them alone. Smock doesn’t want to. He wants to hide and be together. Fliss says it’s her decision to make and she wants to talk to her sister. The dragons don’t like this plan. Fliss says the worst that could happen is she is taken prisoner and the dragons will go free. She thinks there is good and bad in everyone even chaos. Chaos isn't always bad, sometimes chaos can be fun or needed.

Fliss stops to see her parents burial mounds. She sings a song and flowers bloom the men are amazed. Fliss says she’s mad at her mom for not teaching her how to use her magic. She could defeat her sister. Smock says it was too much for a child to bear. They continue flying when Fliss spots Wanda getting attacked by bandits. The dragons save her and she joins them with her new lover Alphonse. Fliss tells Wanda she doesn’t think she deserves her dragons. She’s just a normal girl. Why would they want me? Wanda tells her to pull herself together. A dark fae attacks and Alphonse battles it. Faya flames the fae but kills Alphonse in the process. Wanda said she was bored of him anyways.

They make it to the castle and they have dinner with her sister. Her sister seems frightened of Fliss. She wants them to have a blood bond so they can never betray eachother again. Chernabog says that Lada was going to rule everything with her as her second but then she met her dragons and left. Fliss asks what they need to do for the blood bond and she says it is a blood sacrifice. She wants Fliss to kill Wanda to tie their souls together and make them unable to harm one another. Fliss won’t kill Wanda. Fliss tells her dragons to attack and then three monsters come out to face them. Chernabog locks Fliss up and she doesn’t know how the battle ended. She sings a song and the chains melt away. She finds her dragons in another cell and frees them. They said they surrendered when she took Fliss. They fly and see Chernabog with Wanda. She is testing Fliss. Chernabog begs Fliss to join her in building a new world. Fliss says the world she wants to create is not the world she wants to create. Chernabog says she did not choose to be goddess of Chaos it was chosen for her. She has no choice but to follow her destiny. Fliss says everytime you kill me I grow farther and farther away from you. Chernabog says she knows Fliss is getting more distant and she thinks she knows what is causing it. She turns to Fliss’ dragons who are fighting. They turned you against me she states and I’m a goddess so if I kill them they will be gone forever and we can rule together as true sisters. Fliss pleads her not to do this. Chernabog says you’ll forgive me in time but it needs to be done, it is the only way to keep our family together. Chernabog creates a lightning bolt and Fliss jumps in front of it. It hits her and she dies. Chernabog is shocked and saddened at what she has done. She killed her sister. The dragons all roar out. Chernabog says now no one can stop her from taking over and the dragons can suffer Fliss’ loss forever.

Megan Linski was one of those authors who I have been circling for a while before I actually got into her books. I would see her books all over Amazon and authors newsletter, I would also read the synopsis of her books and still I didn't take the plunge. The reason I didn't was because I have only been into ebooks for the last few years and I didn't want to pay more than a buck for an ebook. I mean even according to Amazon I don't own the ebook but bought the right to read it. However I am a true book addict and couldn't resist for long and that's the same reason I started reading ebooks because I can't resist books for long.

Anyway I was invited to read the first book in Megan's Angels and Demons series and I really enjoyed the book. I was also invited to read the rest of the series as well and loved them and when I found the first book in a new series, Song of Smoke and Fire, I jumped on it because I had really been on a dragon kick lately and reverse harems. After reading the first book I knew I wanted the rest. Megan released the last two books in the series simultaneously last week and I snatched both of them up.

Change of Wind and Storms is the second book in the Song of Dragonfire series and it was just as good as the first. Megan has a way with words in this story, the storyline in general is really good and the lines that the main character Fliss has are really funny at times or so relevant which kinda makes the things she say even better since the books are a type of historical fantasy. This fantasy is set in early Poland and has castles, kings, princes and of course dragons.

I love that the characters are well-defined and the storyline is good. If I had any problems with this book it would be that I wish Megan developed the world a little bit more. I need a better picture of the world, I am just picturing our world but with some supernaturals.

While the story was good, the plot twists were better. I had no idea that the story was going to turn in the way that it did or that the other mythological creatures were going to make their way into the story. Megan manage to change the game on me and it was a nice surprise.

Change of Wind and Storms was a quick fantasy read that has a lot of the supernaturals I love, dragons, witches, mermaids, fae and more. While the magic and mystery are strong, the romance is just starting to heat up. Past lives are revealed along with the truth about Fliss and her dragons. Surprises are popping up left and right and with a cliffhanger that can't help but pull at my heart a little, you better believe I will be reading the last book in the trilogy soon.

I’ve been listening to these free audio books and I don’t know why I’m torturing myself to finish them, am I hoping it gets better what… but it hasn’t by the way it’s kinda gotten worse.

She’s still 17 and apparently now mated to 3 brothers and has been reincarnated many times because her sister keeps killing her. Oh, and apparently she’s a goddess and so is her sister and her sister is jealous of her three men she hasn’t fully come into her powers, but the obvious thing will be when she has sex with all three of her men. I’m assuming she’s gonna come into her powers and defeat her sister.

I feel like this book is either written by a preteen or by AI because it is so poorly written. The characters are not fully developed if anything they’re bratty and whiny and just so unlikable. We were re-introduced to her best friend the princess and her fiancé was accidentally burnt alive by one of the dragons and they brushed it off like it was no big deal. A human life just sniffed out like a candle, and the princess says “oh well he was getting boring anyway” 😳🤷‍♀️ The princess is just another spoiled brat.

Oh and our main character wanting to talk things out with her evil goddess sister even though her dragons and loves tell her it’s a bad idea… then for her to for them to go only for her sister to try to kill them all… like what the hell is this crap? This book is so stupid 🤦‍♀️

I really enjoyed this book, even though I haven’t had the chance to read the first book in this series. I enjoyed finding out more about Fliss, Smok, Fyer and Aire. I cared about each character and as they found out, you can’t run from the past. You have to turn and face it, to find out how to deal with your true self!!
Fliss also has to learn to control her Siren powers. She has to have faith and confidence in herself. She has to believe that she is strong enough, to face anything!!
This is one of my favorite quotes from the book:

**“Now the hole in my heart is gone. I feel complete. More than that, I feel something strong inside me, something blazing and real.” (Fliss)**

She had no idea who or what she is or who she loves. So many things are unknown. So many questions. As the truth is revealed so are the people. As the people are revealed so are their past. As usual this author gives us a fantasy that is filled with questions and chaos, challenges and strengths to be revealed. As all is revealed the reality of what needs to happen and to whom we are hooked and can't turn the pages fast enough. There will be a battle. There will be loss. You will have to read it if you want to know who survives.

Awesome series by this author who we have come to expect wonderful reads and characters that keep us turning the pages.

4/5 Stars

This one was a little harder for me to enjoy. I love the story line, but Fliss's character is a bit annoying. I'm sure she can be an amazing character and will be in the next book, but right now she's just an annoying heroine.

But as for the plot... for a second I thought it was just gonna get turned into a sappy reverse harem. Instead, readers get an intense plot with battle sequences and sacrifices. There were moments I wasn't sure what was going to happen.

Thrilling, emotional and gripping adventure filled with danger, intrigue and a heroic struggle to save the world and all that is good in it. This is a exciting reading experience that picks up where book 1 left off and I was so happy to find out what happened, but watch out for that cliff. Loving this series and looking forward to what promises to be an epic conclusion in book 3. This adventure just keeps getting better and better with each book.

Quote from Fliss, which says a lot about her:
‘Without knowing what I’m doing, and yet, knowing it perfectly, I raise my head and emit a sound.'

She’s ignorant of what she can do with her siren power but she can’t help giving her all for her family and friends. And for her country. She just wings it while she goes.

Her adversary is her opposite which makes it all very interesting.

I received a copy and this is my honest and voluntary review

This is probably my second favorite series from Megan Linski! I absolutely adore Fliss with her sarcasm and ability to land into trouble. Book 2 has more of everything I love - more dragons and more mythical beasts!! I will warn you though, the ending is a terrible cliffhanger. I started book 3 immediately.

This series is really heating up! I did not expect the turn of events of this story, but I am so excited to see where it is going! We are introduced to two new hot dragon shifters, Fyer and Aire, as well as an incredible backstory to Fliss that I was very surprised about but *no spoilers* so you will just have to read. We also still get plenty of new Fliss and Smok moments, but now there is so much more to the characters. And that ending, I need more now! I cannot wait for book 3! I highly recommend this book, series and author.

It was wonderful finding out about Fliss, Smok, Fyre, and Aire's true identities. I loved how Fliss's dragons loved her and believed in her abilities even when her confidence was lacking. Fliss's stubborn nature often leads to some disastrous consequences.

I'm going to start this off by saying I really don't like Fliss her character has not really improved upon further reading. oh it's not that she's a bad character she's just really annoying.

now if we take the other characters in this book Smok, Fyer, and Aire then you got some dragons worth reading about.

Now the kicker to the story is Wanda makes an appearance yet again inserting herself were not invited but she brings the little bit of crazy to also help the story along.

Because I've been following the story along I will continue to read it until we get to the conclusion of what happens with Fliss and her dragons to the end.

The author has done a real good job at keeping the story flowing giving us twists and turns where necessary to keep the reader's interest. In this book Fliss will come face to face with her past and it's not what she's going to expect. She will have to make hard decisions that not only affect her but those around her will she be able to see the other side and come out of this unscathed?
