I had been curious to what this brilliant author would pen up next after I read her last book Fatal Attraction and had been anxiously awaiting for her new book. This book & plot was so well worth the wait. I am not into political dramas & plots be it fictional or non fictional but coming from Suvika I had to give it a chance and I can only say like always this talented author pulled me in with the gripping plot as I took the plunge and embarked on this exuberant journey and I am so glad I had preordered this story and didn't miss it. I had to start reading it as soon as it was delivered on my kindle and I couldn't put it down until I was done. In trademark Suvika style she had me invested in from the first page and the suspense and drama was a total adrenaline rush. Suvika seamlessly weaves the story and as the story unfolds and all the pieces fit in like a puzzle. Both Sidharth and Avantika characters were well developed and multifaceted. The progression from being childhood friends and than falling in love was very believable and the progress & pace was very natural yet very crisp. The friendship and strong chemistry between these two was off the charts. These two were like lassi/chai combo totally opposite of each other but they fit so well. I truly enjoyed the easy banter and gentle teasing showed the comfort level between these two. Also the beautiful bond of trust these two friends shared in the dirty world of politics . As they say - If friendship is your weakest point then you are the strongest person in the world . For these two friendship was their weakness & their strength. The story and plot kept me totally hooked until the end. The suspense started building up and becoming more and more intense as the story progressed. By the time the story ended I was left totally speechless and in awe with the sheer brilliance of this talented author. How effortlessly she has built layers of suspense and by the time I read the end I realized and was awestruck at how well the Title of the story, Prologue and Cover of the story fits in & blends with the plot of the story. I have always loved epilogue in her stories they are like cherry on the cake . She is the queen of writing absolutely heart melting epilogue that as a reader I don't want the story to end yet I look forward to reading her beautifully weaved epilogues . All loose ends are beautifully tied and no loopholes are left in the plot but readers are left with craving for more . And the epilogue of this story was beautifully written like her previous stories. I was really curious to read what social issues Suvika would address in this story and was impressed with some of the issues she has weaved in the plot. Without giving away any spoilers this story was definitely worth all the wait and is a must recommend. Kudos to Suvika for yet another masterpiece story. Can't wait to read your next book and what you come up with next.

A good story line, with an unexpected twist of events. I did like the way the author carried the story. I read one of her other books but I liked this better than that book.
The lead roles of the story are Sidharth and Avantika. Sidharth hails from a family with both his elder brother and father being into politics, actually his father is the one who formed the political party. Yet he becomes an air force pilot. However an accident retires him as a pilot.
Siva Shankar, Sidharth’s father desired to have his younger son into politics, to which Sidharth agrees on a condition that his long-time friend Avantika becomes his manager. Sasidhar, brother of Sidharth does not like the idea, he was never happy with his younger brother. However, with a hiccup Sidharth starts his political journey.
Soon Sidharth becomes the star of the party and also the people, and so to his enemies. A life threat on Sidharth shakes Avantika, she reaches to her friends, Abbas and Julia, for help. Unaware Sidharth follows his schedule on rallies, meetings. A couple of attacks and the man behind the same was easily caught. Warned by Sasidhar, Bhanu Prasad, one of their party senior member, accepts and promises that he would not hurt him anymore. The intention was simple, Sidharth drops the marriage proposal of Bhanu Prasad’s daughter.
However Abbas, friend of Avantika and CBI officer believes that the man behind the attacks was Bhan Prasad yet the actual threat was not him and that person is still to be identified and plotting. Avantika however believes Sidharth is safe until she gets the unknown call once again on Sidharth’s life threat.
The plan was a public assassination of Sidharth, on one of his big days. Which happens to be the day he takes oath as CM, as their party gets a clear majority in the following elections after Sidharth’s campaigning. With the help of Abbas and Julia, a hacker, the actual conspirer is caught.
The story is put up fine, the love story of Avantika and Sidharth is presented well. As a reader one would expect on one person to be the actual conspirer, however the end is quite unexpected.
The story has a good base line but the suspense was not built so much, thou the twist at the end was surprising. Also the plot was broken a bit too easily which is a set back of the plot.
I would still rate the book 3.5/5. A book that can be a good time sparer and can surely be read.

You know that you are my favourite author and I always like your writing style and the social subject you choose and do wonderful job spinning a story around...but this time after reading the reviews I don't know why I could not make my mind to read the book...though I downloaded it long back to read...but keeping the others opinion aside...i just want to give the book a try...my..my...my...the first page when i saw GUNTUR...i knew I am going to read it to full....though the book took me little more time to complete...I am bowled again...the charm of Guntur in the story remained till end and I just loved reading about my place...though I had Rana's pic in mind while reading the book...the story, characters, plot, suspense, relations, emotions, wah...good one to read...you took me down the memory lane with this book...waiting to read more...

Several scenes, dialogues are copied and pasted from Sandra Brown's ---> Mirror Image. You have already unpublished your other plagiarized books Fatal Attraction and A Man To Die For. Please remove this book as well, before you are reported to Amazon.
Why can't you ever write a book that is original?

Gripping

One of the best books I have read and then again reread in a long time. Avantika and Sidharth are the best friends turned lovers who can make you smile with their banter. Rest of the characters too make the plot what it is a thriller of sorts. Love the work by Author Suvika. Great story.

I'm so disappointed in myself for taking soo long to read this book.
This book was everything I needed at the moment it was fast, intense and sooo gripping.
Talking about Suvika's writing, I always feel short on words, I'm amazed how well researched her books are. She always manages to surprise and amaze me with her work😍😍😍😍
Absolutely loved loved loved Avantika's character, also Siddharth but Avantika stole the show hands down 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 she was such a badass character and I loved every single moment of her on the page.
I can't wait to read about these two again in Suvika's upcoming books😍😍

Core plot is borrowed

The story is a political thriller. I would have loved it if I hadn't read Sandra Brown's Mirror Image before I read this. I can understand being inspired by someone but the author should have credited the original book and its author. And for those who don't understand what I am talking about go and read Mirror Image. You can read it for free on Wattpad. 🙁
