Two months ago, I didn’t believe in magic. Sure, I’d cast a love spell involving glitter and peppercorns, but come on … even I didn’t think some pink pepper could make a man fall in love with me. How quickly I’ve changed. Seeing is believing, and watching Andrew light a fire with only his hands definitely changed my mind. My former crush, the brooding, beautiful Andrew Wildes, is now my boyfriend. And a witch. A real one. The question is, am I?
Enchanted is a continuation of the Bewitched story. It should be read after Bewitched and Spellbound.

USA Today Bestselling author Daisy Prescott lives in a real life Stars Hollow in the Boston suburbs with her husband and an indeterminate number of imaginary housegoats. When not writing about people falling in love, she can be found traveling, gardening, baking, and reading a good book.
Her series include: Love with Altitude, Modern Love Stories, Wingmen and Bewitched.
The third instalment in Daisy Prescott’s Bewitched series, Enchanted takes us back to Salem, where we continue Madison and Andrew’s story. And if you haven’t read the previous books in the series,—Bewitched and Spellbound—make sure you do before diving in as this is a continuing story and needs to be read in order (although they’re novella length and I polished each one off in one sitting).
Needless to say because of this, my review will be more on the vague side simply as I wouldn’t want to ruin anything for you. Each book unlocks a little more to the overall story and, as secrets are revealed and discoveries are made, things begin to become a little darker, bringing Maddy and Andrew even closer.
“I tried to warn you. Life will never be boring with me. Are you ready for all of this?”
I’ve literally read the entire series in the space of 24 hours and it just reinforces why I love Daisy’s writing. This series is very different to those I’ve read from her before—it’s paranormal and it’s NA—but it proves how versatile she is in her craft. There’s a bit of a wait until the next instalment as Charmed isn’t due until 2018 but, based on the story content, timing release as we approach Halloween is ideal and I have no doubt it’ll be worth the wait.
I imagine a witch version of the bat signal in the night sky. It’d probably still be a bat. Or maybe a black cat?
Oh, please. I look more and more like one of those dried apple people… I’m lucky I can still go outside without the crows attacking me.
Gentlemen, if you don’t mind, you can close the gate. Otherwise, we’ll get all sorts of riff-raff knocking on the door trying to sell us vacuum cleaners and eternal salvation.
“I’ll alert the coven. They’ll show up in all their corduroy-clad glory if you need them.” I chuckle at the thought of a group of magic empowered middle age professors and librarians coming to our rescue.
My Review:
I am totally grooving on this delightfully amusing and inventive series Enchanted has been the most exciting and eventful installment yet as the disbelieving Madison has finally come face to face with ghosts and visions while tapping into her unknown potential and accidentally stumbling into her latent powers. And what fun, swapping spit with her hunk of a boyfriend seems to help them manifest. Her discovery was timely as darker forces appear to be at work, possibly building toward a larger nefarious plan – someone is devilishly twirling the ends of a mustache somewhere… Ms. Prescott’s writing maintained her uniquely witty, breezy, and fun-filled quality while actively plucking at my imagination and curiosity. I am eager to continue with their exploits and keen to unravel the expanding mystery.
“Remember when I asked you if you really wanted to be involved with a witch? I warned you nothing about me was normal.”
It’s almost Halloween, which means it’s time for another visit back to Salem to see what Madison Bradbury and Andrew Wildes are up to next! This latest installment picks up shortly after Spellbound ends and we see Madison, Andrew, Tate and Sam preparing for their winter break. All the trouble they experienced a few weeks earlier seems to be behind them and Madison is still unsure of whether she actually possesses any powers. She’s spent plenty of winters at her grandmother’s farmhouse over the years, but this is the first time she’s bringing an actual witch with her. When strange things start to happen, Madison begins to discover new things about herself and learns quite a bit about her family and what that means for her future. This book was filled with the same whimsy and magic as the previous two installments and the plot definitely thickens as more and more is revealed throughout this one. The ending is a bit of a turning point for our favorite magical crew and I am very much looking forward to the next installment next year! If you haven’t started this series yet, now’s the perfect time to see where it all began and grab a copy of Bewitched and Spellbound, then follow them up with Enchanted. They’ll be sure to get you in the Halloween spirit!
...Yap.. eu continuo me torturando... ...Pq?!? OMG... É claro que sou 1 leitora maníaco-obssessiva,isto é, quando começo 1 livro ou série... sempre vou até o final... Kill me now
Winter Break is almost here. A time to enjoy some down time with family and friends. Plans are underway for Tate, Sam, and Andrew to join Madison back at her grandmother’s farm. Something that both thrills Madison and makes her nervous. Knowing that Andrew is a witch leaves Madison wondering if she will ever have powers of her own. Something that has eluded her to this point.
When the group arrives at the farm, unusual events begin to occur. Some that can’t be explained without a little intervention in the form of magic. What does it all mean? Secrets will slowly come to light that will lead Madison to uncover things she never knew about her family. How she discovers it all will leave Madison and her friends learning more and more about the secrets that still exist in Salem.
First let me say - how does Daisy Prescott cram so much into her novellas? Enchanted is the perfect addition to a series full of magic and mystery. With a cast of characters that leaves you desperate for more, this book will definitely add spirit to your Halloween!! Just the right touch of romance with a book filled with rich Salem history. A treat for any reader during this hallowed time of year!
I'm still really enjoying these characters but this installment felt more like an information download rather than a continuing story. There were also several spelling and editing mistakes that were super distracting. I was happy to see a little more of Tate in this one though as I really enjoy his character and I'm hopeful the next book will be as good as the first two :)
Another fun and bewitching novella from Daisy Prescott! Enchanted is the third in her Bewitched series. I fell in love with this series last year when I got a chance to read Bewitched and Spellbound. Of course, I took this opportunity to re-read the series from the beginning.
Madison is sweet, semi-awkward, and a descendant of a Salem witch. Yes, those witches. Andrew is broody, intelligent, and also a descendant of a Salem witch. The path to romance hasn’t been easy for these two and truthfully, this novella is light on romance. It is, however, heavy on the suspense and intrigue. The mystery side of the story certainly amps up in this installment. There’s still romance, it just wasn’t as much of a focus. That being said, I didn’t miss it much with the mystery surrounded by Prescott’s trademark humor that always hits me in the funny bone. Her characters are real, flawed, and genuine. Each one has several layers to them and this being a novella doesn’t mean she shirked on the details. It’s still rich in them.
If you love something a little spooky to read this time of year, I highly suggest you pick this series up. It’s the perfect thing to get anyone in the Halloween spirit.
So, I am a four-seasons kind of girl, love each one of them for what they bring – Summer’s Heat, the crisp air and leaves of Fall, Winter’s snow (within reason) and the sweet scents of Spring. Ask me to pick a favorite and I might just lean toward Autumn, with Spring in a very close second. This year our girl Fall seems to be in hiding, but I feel like Daisy Prescott’s new release, Enchanted, the third novella in her Bewitched series is just the treat to lure her out of her hidey-hole. These stories have become a favorite of mine over the last three years and Enchanted is a wonderful addition! These novellas are no tales of fright, but a delightful romance that (with a pinch or two of mystery) between two young witches, Madison Bradbury and Andrew Wildes. Set of course in Salem, Massachusetts, the magic is there with every turn of the page as Daisy casts her spell and I defy you to resist!!
Madison Bradbury has yet to have any witchy powers appear since her 21st birthday came and went. She and Andrew Wildes are still going strong in their relationship and things are looking like they've quieted down... or it's the calm before the storm... whichever....
This story is getting soooo good! With some dark and unknown forces starting to close in on Madison and friends, things are getting pretty interesting. With a visit to her Grandmother's house, Madison learns more about her ancestors... and starts to experience some new crazy things. I was totally bummed when this book ended... it looks like we have to wait another year for the next one... but I can't wait to see what happens next!
I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
This series keeps getting better & better; Madison is finally excepting magic is real but is still not sure if she will find her powers it’s been months since Halloween & her 21 Birthday. But that is all about to change when Andrew, Tate & Sam leave for Madison’s Grandma’s farm for after finals weekend. Before they leave for their trip Andrews father shows up, & Andrew makes sure he know that he figured out he had a curse cast on him & Tate makes sure Andrews father knows he is no longer welcomed to come inside his house. Before the end of the story the four friends are made aware of what & where their future is heading toward. I can’t wait for Charmed to come out in 2018. If you are looking for a good series to read during The Halloween seasons; you will want to put this series on your TBR list. I hope you love these characters as much as I do. Thank you Daisy for another great story.
Picking up right where Spellbound left off, we are back in Salem as Madison is learning how to cope with the world of magic and the truth that she might be a part of that magic. More secrets are revealed, more questions are brought up, and things start to turn a little darker. This is a different plot than any other books I’ve read and I love that!
This story is told from Madison’s point of view, like the first in the series, and I really enjoyed this perspective again! Her world is constantly getting twisted around and she’s trying to make her way through with the help of those closest to her. We also get to meet a new character in this story, Madison’s Grandmother. She is added to an amazing cast of supporting characters!
MORE! MORE! MORE! My luck comes to an end here. Dang it! I don’t want to have to wait until next October for the next installment! I am truly loving this series. I hope we get many more novellas in this series. Grateful to have received an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.
As mysterious as it is heartwarming, Enchanted is the continuation of Daisy Prescott's Bewitched series. And it is as magical as ever. The author seamlessly combines a budding romance between Madison and Andrew with the almost crazy connections their families have had for generations and which continue to affect their lives in the present.
With this new installment, more is explained even as the hows and whys of certain events are still a bit muddied. But with the help of Gram and Sarah and even the wiseguy in Tate, I feel as if we are finally on the brink of knowing every deep dark secret involving Andrew and Madison and the company they keep.
It's not my usual kind of read but Daisy Prescott has not only made me a believer in the otherworldly genre but a true fan. Not to be missed, you must start at the beginning with Bewitched and then Spellbound.
This is the third installment of the Bewitched series. I am not sure how it would be as a stand alone but it is a great addition to Bewitched. In fact I hate short stories but really enjoyed this one.
Now I am wondering how much I can say that will be spoiler free. You could read the synopsis which would do a much better job with the plot than I can. (See I just ended a sentence with a preposition my 6th grade teacher is probably having nightmares about all her hard work wasted on me). Back to the review it lost a star for it's cliffhanger. I guess if I can end a sentence with a preposition; Daisy Prescott can end a story with a cliffhanger but why?? Why do you torture me so? Ok after re-reading the ending it's not a who shot JR cliffhanger. It's a don't leave me hanging here cliffhanger! Please give us more Andrew, Madison, Sam and Tate!! (Especially Sam and Tate the NEED an HEA!
While everyone else waits for the Pumpkin Spice Lattes to come around every October I am anxiously awaiting my annual visit to Salem and the magical world Daisy Prescott has built there.
In the 3rd installment of her Bewitched stories. Madison and Andrew have now established that they are indeed a couple but the path to Happy Ever After is never smooth -- especially when you throw in the supernatural.
I read this awesome little story in one sitting and I cannot wait for more (Come on Daisy would a Christmas visit to Salem be sooooo bad? Maybe Easter? pretty please)
Go one click on Bewitched and Spellbound and read those before you dive into this holiday treat - you will be under her spell immediately
Enchanted by Daisy Prescott is the third installment in the Bewitched Series. This is not a standalone. For better understanding , I strongly recommend to read the previous books, Bewitched and Spellbound, first. Madison didn´t believe in magic. And now is she the girlfriend of a witch and a firm believer. Too much has happened in their past. Just like the previous books, I read Enchanted in one sitting. I had to know what happens to the characters. Old secrets are revealed and enemies discovered. Fate/karma plays a big role in their lives. I love the writing, the story and the characters. I give 5 stars. Thank you, Daisy Prescott !
The way a novella series should be: short, interesting, and a bit suspenseful. We've been following Madison and Andrew for a bit while they fall for each other and learn their special gifts. This episode is special because the group is digging into family history and secrets. Something nefarious is brewing and the young group is determined to find out. Most series consist of standalone books, not this one as this story continues as one storyline. I highly recommend reading from the beginning, you will enjoy it and everything will make sense. I received my copy from the author and have written this review voluntarily without bias.
As the title says, I was totally Enchanted! I read all the books in this series in one sitting and totally enjoyed it. It is the perfect series to read with a nice cup of hot chocolate or your favorite coffee drink, snuggled under your blanket with your kindle fired up. Loved the story of Madison and Andrew and their journey of falling for one another. This story has a bit of everything in it: Magic, love, twists and of course fate bringing people together. Author Daisy Prescott brings a wonderful story to enjoy over and over again.
A little bit of history, a little bit of lore, and a little bit of magic. It’s a short and cute read. The series mentions quite a bit of beverage drinking: solo cups, fireball, champagne, PSLs(ewww), and delicious hot cocoa. That tidbit is important only because this is honestly the perfect set of books to read wrapped in a blanket on a big couch near a fire with a trusty beverage. My only critique is that I hate how short the books are. Novella is almost generous. Or maybe that’s just my bitterness because I want to keep reading more!
This is the third installment in the Bewitched Series and you must read Bewitched and Spellbound in order to understand and follow the storyline. That said, this novella is short, sweet and chuck full of charming goodness. The journey of Madison and Andrew continues. Secrets are revealed and new twists are introduced. Well written with a bit of suspense and paranormal elements I read this beauty in one sitting! 3.5 stars!
I love these books!!! I am already heavily invested in each character and find myself wanting more intense knowledge of them!! I feel like this story is just getting started and I really hope she continues this line of books w/ even more passion involved!!
Bravo on such a wonderfully woven tale of history and new beginnings!!! I feel like this story has so much to offer still and I can't wait for more!!!
It's the middle of something... I finally understood what and then the story ended! Then I learn there is another part coming out. I'm the person who prefer to read their books without cliffhangers. This didn't even have a cliffhanger, more of a damp fizzle. Which teen girl learning that she is a witch doesn't know her grandmother is a powerful witch. The heroine is either very dumb or incredibly naive.. Didn't like it.
A continuation, but a CLIFFHANGER. Nothing is resolved in this story.
Madison and Andrew finish finals and head off to Madison's gram's house for break. Funny things happen involving Andrew's father and then Madison's gram and we learn more about Madison's family.
We do learn that someone is trying to break into M's thoughts and that interesting things happen when M and A kiss.
I'm normally not a fan of supernatural stuff, but this little series of novellas from Daisy Prescott has been both fun and interesting! My only gripe is this book, unlike the first 2, left off with a huge cliffhanger and we have to wait a whole year for it! Damn! Still, its a great story and I look forward to the next novella.
This is the best one yet! I couldn’t stop reading, all of the history and magic had me completely immersed. In this story, Madison continues to learn more, and somehow less, about her linage and it’s ties to Andrew’s family and old Salem. This one ends on a bit of a cliffhanger, but I’m more excited than ever for the continuation.
This is Enchanted, book 3 of the Bewitched series, written by Daisy Prescott. I love all of the magic and secrets and adventure that is the centerpiece of this book. Madison, Andrew, Tate and Sam are on a magical journey to figure out the secrets of their pasts. It’s lots of fun but I wish it had been much longer.
This is the third installment in this series of novellas, and just like the first two, I adored this one! Since figuring out what was happening with Andrew in the last installment, things seem to be progressing smoothly for him and Madison. Until a trip to the country brings Madison to the realization that her reality is not quite what she once thought! These books are so much fun and a perfect quick read just in time for Halloween! Read them!!! And I cannot wait for more.
Young love for Andrew and Madison with a little witchcraft thrown in. As they find each other, they also find their history and their powers. Looking forward to what happens next.
