"Hope: The Journey to life" by Khemlata Negi is about two people who thought that they were the only survivors of the world after the calamity. This story revolves around Thomas from his childhood to his old age.

After reading the title I thought this story would be a motivational one but it was more like a romantic book. At first, it was the love story of Thomas and followed by the love story of his son Adam. I would say that the character development was good but not the great. I liked the portrayal of Thomas's character who was selfless and over protective.

The story was simple, light and an easy read. I like that the author had tried to convey the message that even at the very hardest times of life, one should never lose hope and should keep on moving with the positive vibe and I feel like it would have been great if she had focused mainly on this matter than all the love and romance which covered majority of the book. It is a nice one time read.

I've never read dystopia before "Hope" because I never thought it will intrigue me. But this book by Khemlata Negi is a Romantic Dystopia which can be easily enjoyed as a light read.

The book revolves around 4 main characters Thomas, Alice, Adam and Angelica but among the characters Thomas has been the main focus as the story revolves around him from his childhood to his old age. Thomas and Alice somehow survives the calamity and later gives birth to a boy named Adam. Adam, born in the deserted world with a ray of hope. Hoping to fulfill his dreams and desires and to search a soul mate.
Angelica survived the catastrophe but lost her parents. She was saved by a stranger and at the end she became helpless and was left with no other option but to learn how to live in this world alone.
Clearly this book is about Love and is very evidently portraying the power of hope.

TBH I didn't expected it to be like that. It is a very easy and a light read. You can just pick it up and finish it without the requirement of any significant efforts. Writing style of the book is good and shows that author has a capability to write really good stuff. Imagination was on point because I can literally imagine happening that to us very soon. Plot was good but it could have been a lot better. Sequencing of the scenes was too basic and straightforward. I felt that some initial chapters were dragging unnecessarily and that's why got a bit boring but later it maintained it's pace and got interesting.

Talking about the characters, I really liked how the author built up a story line around a few characters which avoided it from being complicated. They for sure needed to have some more layers in them but I liked the idea of the author to not make them very overwhelming. Although I liked the character of Thomas and Adam.

Cover of the book is very meaningful but it could have been better. Title is just perfect.

It is a very subtle one time read and will leave you with some very thoughtful and necessary questions with respect to today's world.
I will recommend it to you if you want some light reading between your hectic schedules.

Dystopian is not really my cup of tea but the blurb looked very interesting so I had to pick this book up! Also, it might not be dystopian anymore, the end of the world might be near, so there’s that. Dystopian or fantasy just goes on to prove how brilliant an author’s imagination can be and this book has done just that. The story is something that you can think of as a faraway phenomenon and yet you know it can happen to you any day. The story itself is quite simple, nothing the readers will swoon over. The writing and the narration style are very simple and easily comprehensible. I loved how we had a variety of characters but they did not feel overwhelming t any point in the story. I hope there’s a second part or the author writes more books because I enjoyed the writing style. The book will amuse readers if read as a light read.

Hope: The Journey Of Life by Khemlata Negi isa book based on the journey of 4 people - Thomas, Alice, Adam and Angelica. Thomas and Alice were destined to live together after surviving the greatest catastrophe that ended the World.

The story is beautiful and painful at the same time, since the destruction of the world and the entire human race, Thomas and Alice somehow survive and give birth to a boy named Adam.

Adam is a character who is full of hope and dreams. The characters are very strongly developed. I absolutely loved how small details like how they check their age by drawing a line everyday and etc. things have been mentioned in the book by the author.

The book will truly appreciate your presence in this world and teaches you to appreciate what you have with you currently. It also has a tint of social subjects, stating which is why the world has some to an end. It's a fast paced book and will keep you glued to the book till the end in order to see how they all survive in a world where there is no one else except for them.

Hope
Author: khemlatanegi
Publisher: White falcon publishing
Genre: Fiction.

Today I’m presenting you all the book review of the book “ HOPE” by @khemlata Negi .
This book basically comprises of three parts. The initial part basically talks about the heart warming love story of Bhanu, Alice and Thomas where Thomas fell in love with Alice on their 1st meeting but later he realises that Bhanu and Alice are deeply in love with each other. Little did they know that destiny always had its own plans, they witnessed the destruction of world right before their eyes. It took nature just a few hours to destroy mankind. It seemed as if this devastation left Thomas and Alice alone in this entire world.
The later part of the book emphases on the journey of Thomas and Alice- who were destined to live together after surviving the greatest catastrophe that ended the World. Adam - a boy who was born in the empty world, but his eyes and heart were full of dreams and wishes. His burning desire to search his soul-mate made him set off on the most unusual and incredible journey of humankind. The consequences and risks were unthinkable. Angelica - a girl who survived the most destructive natural calamity, but lost both her parents in it. She was rescued by a stranger and learnt how to live and love a lonely life after the death of her sole companion. This story is about Love, Life, and the power of Hope.
Talking about the book, it definitely portrayed something that was quite refreshing to read.
Though the theme was nothing out of the box but the characters were well developed.
The emotions of the characters were very well defined.
Though the plot seemed a bit draggy to me as the initial chapters were unnecessarily exaggerated which I think the author could have summed up in a better way but again, there is no denying to the fact that the plot post destruction seemed very dreamy and fascinating.
There were few grammatical errors here and there which can definitely annoy the readers if he or she is Grammar Nazi.
The language was definitely lucid.
The tittle of the book is completely apt to the story line. The cover definitely has room for development.
The storyline was gripping and is capable enough to hook the reader till end.
I enjoyed reading the life of Adam (I wish I could live a life like Adam- free, full of life, fully energetic and close to nature).
If you are looking for something refreshing to read/light read. Just pick this book up. I recommend this to all (18+).

HOPE: THE JOURNEY TO LIFE by Khemlata Negi
.
📚 MY REVIEW:
.
Hope: The journey to Life is, as the title suggest, the story of The Power Of Hope. The book is here to prove the title that Hope is the Journey to Life. The cover of the book is simple and The setting sun and the sunlight had made the cover very attract. The title is appropriate as per the book.
.
The plot of the book is well crafted. Thomas and Alice- who were destined to live together after surviving the greatest catastrophe that ended the World. Adam - a boy who was born in the empty world, but his eyes and heart were full of dreams and wishes. His burning desire to search his soul-mate made him set off on the most unusual and incredible journey of humankind. The consequences and risks were unthinkable. .
First of all, I want to say here that the blurb of the book is very Perfect and attractive. It is very well written. Of course we all know that blurb plays an important role in a book and here we can see it's power. Other than that, the book has a nice narration. Languav is easy and understandable. Overall, the book is enjoyable. It's a light read and a one time read for me. The characters are nicely development and they engage the reader in themselves.

Hope

It's an unique story and is based upon the life of Thomas and his love Alice. The story holds the apocalypse and the devastation of earth, while we thought the earth will be destroyed in 2012 and this came to be true in this story. Where no one able to stand against the wrath of nature and eventually the destruction of the world came in the New Year's eve, a couple survived and hoped to live life for the sake of their love.

The story is how this two people faced the atrocities, huddles in each and every step yet determined to live hopefully and brought a child in this deathly world. The child named as Adam by her mother, who played the central role in the story. How he have grown up all alone in the protection of his parents without knowing the materialistic world which once existed. And how his thirst for searching other human life and to reunite have bring him to Angela and they were destined to meet.

As the title suggest it's a story of hope and utter determination. The Story is beautiful yet heartbreak and painful to read. The cover is good and the storyline is engaging too. But the extreme details of things which are not needed makes it a bit exhaustive read. Other then language was easy. But the narrations was slow paced. The characters are well sketched. Will recommend for reading something different.

It’s difficult to me that where should I start my reviews. It’s the story of Thomas. The story began in 2010 in texas, USA. At that time, Thomas was 22 year old boy. He was studying at that time. He lived very normal and average life. The story moved at faster pace and after few chapters, the story has been described in year 2012. At that time many people had theory and believed that world is going to end in December. Not exactly the mentioned date but around later on some events took place. Read the book to unfold further plot. If we see generally, the book has limited number of characters so it is easy to comprehend. The language and narration style is simple so it’s a light read and every one can enjoy it easily. Initially story moved averagely. It took time to enter into the story but twist was worth reading for. The concept is different. The narration flowed smoothly. Overall good one. Worth reading!

The book is literally all about HOPE and how it makes easy to survive a destroyed world.
It's a sweet story of 2 humans who were the only ones to survive doomsday.

It shows how a man of 21st century lives a life of an early man without technology, food & water, with dead bodies all around.

It's a story of the leftover humans surviving the after-destruction upto 22 years and after.
The book is written beautifully that I could feel and imagine the emotions by myself.
Great imagination, great use of The book is literally all about HOPE and how it makes easy to survive a destroyed world.

How to survive an apocalypse? The book “Hope: The journey of life” by Khemlata Negi wanted to give readers hope in the face of doomsday.

Going by the title one can except a survival guide to thrive at the end of the world. One can even imagine of narratives from survivalists.

The plot covers the life of beautiful Alice, knowledgeable Thomas, and their child Adam. Alice and Thomas are only survivors of the apocalypse. Together they learn to thrive in a new world from scratch. Their child Adam is curious by nature and is eager to search other survivors. His curiosity leads him to Angelica.

While the title and blurb set the reader’s expectations on reading a strong motivational story of human survival. In the end, it turns out to be on - romance after doomsday.

The plot takes its own time to reach the much-said doomsday. Thankfully it picked paced after a few chapters. Characters needed more definition and layers. The words are simple which is good but not enough to keep readers glued.

If you are looking for light reading this is for you.

The base of the book lies on a topic that an interesting and important one. The book covers the story of three friends initially which would seem like a teenage romance sort. The initial chapters seem a little detailed with not a lot of meaningful storyline. Gradually, as you set yourself in the story, there comes the destruction of the world. The story that follows later is what has the power to give a new perspective to the reader. The story covers the journey of Adam and his parents who have seen the world destroy in front of them. Adam, their son, is the one whose quest is based on hope which suffices the book title. The plot is an interesting one because the reader experiences a whole other dimension and the narration too is on point. The theme of the book is interesting but the plot could've been a little better. The writing style and the sequencing of the scenes tend to give a cliche feel. The message the book leaves is an essential one though.

What if the world ends today? Would you like to be the last living person on the planet? This books takes us through apocalypse and post havoc days. The story revolves around Thomas. It begins with him studying at University but soon he finds himself surviving on the piles of dead as the world has ended.

Thomas and Alice have a son Adam. Thomas tries to teach him about plants, technology, human needs but it's hard for him and them to live in this completely new world.

The book has few characters which I loved and they all are beautifully written. The author's imagination and writing style is applause worthy. Initial few chapters are a bit boring and very descriptive. But after that the story becomes very interesting.

This book will definitely make us think about and cherish the world we live in. We so often take mother earth and all the other blessings we have for granted which we shouldn't do.

Definitely worth a shot!

This book is based upon one concept, the apocalypse and the will to survive when the world is collapsing all around you. Adam and his parents are the main characters and the book revolves around their lives in a dystopian time. The blurb promised an adventurous journey where the characters would have to survive in the midst of all the chaos, the book however doesn't deliver that and instead we're given a bland storyline where the romantic aspects takes over the adventure completely. The initial chapters were really boring and plain which is quite opposite of what you'd expect from a dystopian. The world building wasn't strong from the start but as the story progressed the pace increased which made the story a bit bearable. I was expecting something different and I was disappointed. The writing was simple but nothing too captivating. There wasn't any saving grace for this.
It was a one time read for me. I would recommend it to beginners.

Review -
The story revolves around the 2012 phenomenon. Long back, Mayan astrologers had predicted that the world would end on 21st Dec 2012, and that it would be the last day of the human raceand its civilization on this earth.
After the devastation of the world Thomas and Alice were the only person who survived and they both gave birth to Adam.
For Thomas it was a complete unique and complicated experience but it's hope that makes them carry on.
What all experience and incidents they have to go through? Do they survive and if yes how?
To know more read this really gripping story.
Things I liked:
1. The cover is intriguing.
2. The title is apt and interesting.
3. The narration is good.
4. The writing style is nice.
5. The incidents are very well explained.
6. The different emotions are perfectly depicted.
7. The language is good.
8. The plot is extremely interesting.
9. The human tendency of survival is very well explained.
10. Overall a very interesting read.

With this amazing description written, my expectations while reading the book was lived to its full expectation. While I enjoy the author's writing, I went into this knowing that I would get through this and I was hoping for different insights.

The language used by the author is simple and easy. The writing style of the author is lucid. The positive aspect of the book is that there are no unnecessary details or plots in the book. It was well written and fast paced. The cover of the book is very beautiful and the title is interesting. This book was really well written and enjoyable. The narration was good, the plot was interesting and got me hooked instantly. I could not put the book down and finished it in just two days. I will surely recommend this book. And I wish the author luck for her future endeavors.

Remember when we thought the world was gonna be destroyed in 2012? Yeah, this book is set during that time. Know what that means? Apocalypse! Hence the title! It matches it completely. But the plot has more than just hope, plenty of action and romance to keep you satisfied.

The language and narration is gripping enough to keep you hooked. But the beginning might throw you off because I was getting the vibe that it was gonna be another clichè romance novel. Thankfully the plot picked up pace after the first few chapters. I'll be honest, the first couple of chapters we're only description, without much storyline. But the characters were few in this so it picks up pace after the descriptions! All in all I liked it after the real story started. I could have done without the first couple of chapters.

Hope by Khemlata Negi will take you in a land where the hope rays fall on the main character Thomas. How Thomas being hopeful could survive with his friend in a land which had become destruction after natural calamity.
Readers at a point may feel as though they are reading fantasy fiction as author takes us to a land which is unrealistic after such havoc. Story keeps you binded with these pointers
How Thomas son Adam goes in search of life navigates it's path.
Does Alice understands Thomas part?
Do they ever reach a place full of life or they struggle being nomads in this generation.

Finally, I would say pick this book for a leisure read and roam in the fantasy land where one thing is prominent in life and that is HOPE.

The book mostly revolves around the character Thomas . The story begins with him studying in university in his early twenties. But as the plot starts to go further we find that he is living an early man life without technology and daily essential commodities. The world has come to an end, and he is surviving among piles of dead bodies.

In order to gist the story in one single sentence the Title is apt . It's the hope that fuels him to live a life in such atmosphere.

The plot is fast paced and concrete. This book proves that the author had mastered the art of storytelling . It's an easily comprehensive read. Also, author's power of imagination is admirable.

This is one of the most interesting books I have read in a while. What would you do if the world comes to an end? And you and another human being are the only two who survive? What would you do in a world after the apocalypse?
This sounds so far fetched at first but at the rate the world is spiraling out of control, you feel like this could happen at any time. The imagination used by the writer to describe such a world and the struggle of the 21st century human to survive in the world without technology is certainly very interesting and engaging.
The writing is crisp and to the point. The writer makes you feel the emotions of the characters which is amazing. It is definitely a must read.

This is a story of Thomas and Alice living in the US. It is happening in 2012 when most people believed that the Earth is going to end soon.

I personally liked that the number of characters in the book are few, which made it easy to read.

The author’ writing style is simple. Language used is easy to understand. The book cover is beautiful. And the title is exactly what the story depicts – hope.

It’s a light read that anyone can pick up and enjoy. But it does make you wonder what will happen when post apocalypse.

The story takes you on a ride, it is fast paced and engaging. The author has done a fair job at story telling. I like the narration style and choice of words. The book kept me hooked and I enjoyed reading this one.

Hope..the reason for all seasons and author proves it right through his book.

I'd rate this one a 3.8/5 and totally recommend it to people who love fantasy-fictionish kind of books.

Each time you read The book HOPE you will always get some boosted lines from that.

When I talk to people, I add those lines in my conversation. And I assure you this is the best type of Compliment I’d ever like to do for my writer friend. Because after those boosted lines folks ask for the book name I copied from and again i proudly say THE HOPE

I don't remember the last time I read something as good as your book.

They make me think deep about everything.

My words won't be enough.”

This was more than enough for me to read for myself.

It's a sensational story of apocalypse survivors. It's kind of romantic, but it also has a lot of life learnings.

It beautifully portrays the terrible experiences Thomas and Alice went through. It takes immense imaginative skills to put a character who is born after apocalypse with no human civilization. Angelica is a kind of Bonus to the readers. Her part of story and challenges were not only tragic but also beyond our trivial challenges.

It's an entertaining Novel.

It's an entertaining and Life learning novel. I wish all of us could understand the meaning of Hope in our lives.
My favourite character is Alice. Her part is quite small but it leaves a great impact over me. I shiver to imagine how she would have survived apocalypse.

All's well that ends well.

Kudos to author for writing such an imaginative work. This work truly deserves appreciation.
