Wow, is this book wordy. Skip ahead to Chapter 10 without worry. I read 1-9 so you won’t have to. Nice exercises and pictures. I will incorporate some of them into my workouts and yoga classes.
WOW! I've been struggling with breathing issues that is not asthma (long story short, I have tight muscles from tensing up when stressed). Doing the stretches in this book properly has helped me loosen those muscles and therefore improve my breathing. Fascia stretching is a relatively new study and a lot of people don't know what it is. I hope more practitioners learn about this technique so it can help more people. Learning about fascia was so interesting and the explanation provided is clear and easy to understand. I also overall feel so free and unrestricted like before. It's important to take the time to read and understand what fascia stretching is and how to do it before you jump straight to the stretching exercises. A friend recommended this book to me and it definitely changed the game for stretching / freeing up my body! Forever grateful for Suzanne Wylde writing this book.
