The brutality Shene endured @ the hands of her mother Tatum, was inconceivable. Shene' s life was filled with grief & turmoil. I felt so bad for this honor student. Not only was Tatum evil, most of the characters were. I was so hoping Shene would catch a break. This was my first read by this author & I'm looking forward to finding out if things turn around for Shene in the next part.

Regret

I don't know why I chose the read this book. My affinity for finishing all books I start tormented me this time. It fills filled with violence, hatred, and rape. I mean I've read urban fiction before but this was too much. Wish I could unread it.

Short..but a Great Story!!

Shene went from an abused virgin to Wife to Mother at a young age. I liked Sin at first, thought he was being a stand up... wrong!!
Shene has experienced so much hurt and tragedy through no fault of her own..let’s see if she can find some happiness. Who’s coming for Sin??

WOW.... So much pain and heartache for Shene at such a young age. Her Mom was pathetic and sold her into a nightmare. The things Sin does to her is heartbreaking and seem so unnecessary, what's a young girl to do. SJ's death was sad, and Sins action/response was crazy. Robert is good dude getting caught up chaos!! Sin finds Shene after she finally escapes pregnant. Where we they go from here??

That ending had me in my feelings. I know Shene did get that far for Sin to just pop up like that. Kani....NO! Did sin do that or is it the woman that's following him? I can't wait for part 2.

This was a pretty decent read but if the author had just written a full book instead of this, practically a short story version, a sequel wouldn't be needed. Additionally, for it to be such a short read, the amount of editing issues was exorbitant

First off this book was crazy. I don’t even know where to start. Everybody in this story was evil. Shene was never able to catch a break. Tatum her own mother was trash and needed to be put away for life. The way this book ended was sad and got me dying to read the rest of the series.
