Lenny

I have one mission in life.
Revenge.
I didn’t have time for anything else.
Let alone the mysterious, unfairly good-looking member of a local outlaw biker gang.
But Edison is not the kind of man to be easily ignored, and the closer he gets, the more I seem to sway from my mission.
Until the unthinkable happens.

Edison

She’s special.
That has always been my type, women with that ‘something’ that you can’t quite put your finger on. And Lenny with her knife-sharp tongue, stubbornness, and guards thicker than almost any I had ever seen, yeah, she had that thing. And I wanted to put my finger on it.
Finger. Mouth. Tongue… everything on her.
But Lenny is hiding things.
And it wasn’t until her world shatters around her that I finally get to see what was beneath them all along. And it is more than I could have ever hoped for. It's something I want to hold onto. I guess the only thing left is to get that through her stubborn head as well…

Title: ➳ ❤- .Edison
Series ➳ The Henchmen MC Series 10#
Author: ➳ Jessica Gadziala
Publication November 4th 2017

⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

ღ I feel like not all heroes wear white, no this hero wears a cut with the logo of the Henchmen MC on back of it

Long awaited book with Edison… I don’t know about you, but
I fell in love with Edison when Reign brought him back to the compound cuffed … Edison was introduced earlier in the series I couldn't wait for his story

Edison had that dark & dangerous vibe that I usually love in my bikers, He also had this mystery that just surround him

Edison. His back story was a mystery to us all the way until the very end.

I usual love a Badass heroine & even more if they show us Humor. I didn't initially connect with Lenny & her over-the-top sarcasm until I learned her background & all the reasons behind it

I love the backstory & the introductory to Adler…. I’m also looking forward to reading all the dirty secrets of his past

Even thought this was amazing emotional heart wrenching story with some delicious scenes to it. …. I didn’t like how it took Jessica so long to tell us Edison’s backstory. I know that Lenny was complex & hard to like at times, but her heart was truly in the right place, only thing that truly bug me about her was she still seem somewhat cold years later

On to the next book, I believe Reeve is up next in the Navesink Bank Universe

📚 Hope you enjoy this read & also always keep in mind this is just my opinion+ Also I wouldn’t never discourage anyone from reading this book.

Happy Reading --- Enjoy ……. Paulette Review

This is book #10 in the Henchmen MC series. The series is still going strong, and keeping me entertained!! In this book, we got to see Edison and Lenny fall in love with each other. I will admit that the heroine's name in this book had me a bit distracted as that is my hubby's name...LOL It was kind of weird hearing "Lennie" or "Len" and putting that to a girl's face...just saying!!!
With that aside though, this installment packed an emotional punch. I found it to be a bit heavier than the rest; but that didn't make it bad.

My favorite part about this series is always the epilogues. Jessica Gadziala always does a beautiful job of showing us the main couple's future. I love that the most, as not always do all books have a glimpse into the main couple's life. I am definitely a sucker for any kind of HEA!!! I am also very nosy, so it just gives me that added info that I adore!

The next book is about Reeve. I am not as attached to him yet, but I am sure I will become interested as soon as I start reading it...LOL I am curious about this new guy; Adler?? What will he bring to the table for the Henchmen??? I can't wait to find out!!

This is an awesome MC series, and if you haven't given it a try; then I definitely recommend it! It is one of the few that I have kept up with, and considering I am already at the tenth book and still enjoying it...well; that speaks for itself!!!

Edison met his match with Lenny. She is feisty and determined, with a tough exterior and a hidden vulnerability.

This story really hits you in the feels. The plot is centered around Lenny and her motivations for training as hard as she does. She was unapproachable for the most part but after reading her story, it really matches her background. Though she is not my favorite heroine, she is a good addition to the expanding “girls club”.

I loved Edison’s “supportive without pushing” personality. He handled his budding relationship with care. Together, the two characters had good chemistry. The writing, pacing, and imagery were strong.

Safety: No others for either. Book contains references to emotional, sexual, and physical abuse as well as suicide.

Oh no, you did not, Jessica....you did not....
Every author has their gift and for Jessica Gadziala, it seems to be tying my heart and soul up in knots as her characters burrow under my skin and bring out my “I wanna smack some faces-or worse” side.

Lenny may have a razor sharp tongue, a bad attitude and come across as less than loveable, but this young woman has the heart of a warrior, beaten down one too many times, too proud to lean on anyone. It’s not that many are brave enough to get that close anyway, until Edison. Still, she has a mission she has shed blood, sweat and tears for and she refuses to be swayed.

Edison is also on a mission. He is determined to peel back the layers of protection and carve out the secrets that have hardened the mysterious Lenny. He will also do whatever it takes to free her from the demons that have stolen her life. WHATEVER. IT. TAKES. First, he must maneuver the landmines of Lenny’s attitude and teach her that no man, woman or child is an island or a dumping ground for the emotional sabotage she has unwittingly been buried in. Who better to do it than a Henchman, with a family of bikers to back him up?

EDISON proves that Jessica Gadziala has the chops to lay her story out there and scrape her readers raw. This time out, she writes an even darker and more emotionally brutal tale of finding salvation when all hope is lost. Never worried about crossing any lines, Ms. Gadziala boldly went “there” and shredded me, almost as much as she shredded Lenny. And Edison? Talk about a man of action just when it is needed most. Clearly, not all heroes where shining armor or ride a white steed, sometimes they take care of business. For Edison, Lenny was his business of the heart.

I am voluntarily reviewing this ARC edition.

Very raw and sad book.
As always deep and well written.
Likable MCs, strong heroine, caring hero.

It deals with many hard issues as child abuse, loss, grief, revenge and justice.

It made me sad, I wished her sister didn't die. Maybe I wished for a bit more 'romance', but heroine's character didn't allow more. And I liked, that the author didn't sugarcoat anything.

No lala-land miraculous transformations, great epilogue though.

Safe. Fortunately not a manho hero.
But the next one?... *hmm*

An Emotional Powerhouse!

Edison is my new FAVORITE Henchmen.

Sexy, mysterious, compassionate, intuitive, protective, lethal! Absolutely delicious.
He eclipsed Renny! That's no small feat!

And Lenore... A complex character beautifully written.
I loved her sarcasm, wit, strength & vulnerability.

Jessica Gadziala delivers a tightly written story that ticks all the right boxes.

Hell yes!

Edison stands right next to Pagan.

By far, these two are the best ones in the Henchmen bunch!

I don't need to say more, if I can read it (being the MC trope, in question LOL), than anyone can *wink*

Edison is finally here. I feel like I have waited so long to finally get his story. I fell in love with Edison when Reign brought him back to the compound cuffed. The first time he drank Vodka like it was water I wanted to have a drink with him. Even the way he spoke really just did it for me. I got to see little bits and pieces of him as a side character and I just fell hard. I knew whatever his history Jessica would not disappoint . This is my absolute favorite book to date from Jessica Gadziala. I have said out of all of Jessica's leading ladies I was most like Reese. After reading this Lenny is who I have always wanted to be I just don't have big enough lady balls to pull it off hahaha. Lenny might have been abrasive, but she had a very big heart underneath. Despite having a shitty mom, something I can very much relate to she still grew up protecting and raising her sister. She always tried to give her sister better.

Edison had the best back story ever. I don't want to give any spoilers but he is what you would call a vigilante or crusader. He is exactly what Lenny needed. She needed for one man in her life to be there for her and to love her no matter how much she pushed. Edison needed Lenny just as much. He needed one person to tell his story to who not only didn't freak out over it but reaffirmed his belief that he had done the right thing.

This book really went above and beyond any expectations I had. I just loved this book so much. Thank you again Jessica. I highly recommend this book 5+ stars!!!

3.5 stars. Ok so this wasn’t my favorite of the series and it was probably due to Lenny. I just didn’t relate to her. I get how terrible her childhood was and I felt for her losing what she did but she was just too brash for me.

I loved Edison. He definitely made the book for me.

Edison is book 10 in The Henchmen MC series and one I have been very excited to read. As soon as Edison was introduced earlier in the series I couldn't wait for his story, he had that dark and dangerous vibe that I love. Unfortunately the story was just ok for me. While I loved Edison and Lenny together, their story didn't keep my interest so this book took me forever to read. One of my complaints was that while we were told about Lenny's life and her hard childhood we don't get anything about Edison till the very end. Although he did everything right as a lover/partner I felt the story was to one sided and I needed more. Overall Edison was an ok addition to this series and I'm looking forward to more.

Wow Jessica you did it again! Edison and Lenny what a story. I laughed so hard I couldn’t catch my breath at the quirky lunch meat comment, and a few pages later you made me cry. I loved that we had visits with most of the Henchman and girls club, and Adler oh how I’m going to love his story. I loved it and I’m sad I’m finished!

I’ve been intrigued with Edison since he first arrived on the scene. I was curious about the woman who would capture his heart.

Lenny is a fabulous character. Her biting sarcastic humour is just a delight.

This is a darker book, certainly darker than the previous one. But it’s good, really good and I’m now intrigued by Adler and really looking forward to the next book. Reeve is dark and mysterious so my expectations are high.

Wow just wow I am speechless Jessica Gadziala you rocked!!! I dont even know where to start.... Well I have been waiting for this book like forever as always after you finished 1 henchmen you can't wait for the next... So Edison my Romanian hero is 💯 badass and so is Leny who is a bitch and not sorry about it! We just wanna be Lenny when we grow up... She is 💯 💯 badass and as the Pres said it she is trouble and Edison likes woman who got something in them that you cant easily predict.. He doesnt want easy and well she is a handful... I love that the story revolved mostly within the main characters not a lot of outside drama. The story is intense and the strong love of a sister is manifested well in this book...
Lastly the surprise appearance of a previous favorite character Adler makes this one of the best Henchmen books for me... Lets wait until the next one... Good thing the characters at Navesink bank keeps on adding so I am not afraid that we will run out of stories the waiting is just killing me...

Another knock out!

Edison has been a favorite among Jessica's reader ever since he was introduced to the Henchmen. We've all been chomping at the bit for his story & I can honestly say I was not disappointed. Edison has always been a mystery to us, only getting bits and pieces of who he was. How he became who he is was a sad story but it turned him into our wonderful Edison.
Lenny was amazing & I just got to say I was not expecting her problem to be what it was & it absolutely broke my heart! I loved Edison & Lenny together they balanced each well & I loved the way Edison knew how to handle Lenny & her "walls". Lennys sarcasm & the way she could cut down the guys at Meryl's were some of my favorite parts. Now for the really important part........Adler makes an appearance & let's just say his future is looking better & better!
With all this being said I think you should totally one click this book & get lost in the Henchmen world. ❤

5 Teacup Stars

Where do I start... Jessica has blown it out of the park with Edison. From the first chapter I just couldn't put it down. Lenny stole the show for me, she is sassy, strong and opinionated and you can’t help but love her for it. She takes no prisoners. I love a good kick as leading lady.

Edison comes along and breaks down her walls to the real Lenny. I love him, not only is her perfect for Lenny in every way, he help’s free Lenny from her past and the ghosts that haunt her.

Edison is a great installment in the Henchman Series, as with all the books in this series it had beauty, ugliness, love and loyalty! I loved it!!

I was hugely lucky and honored to receive and voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. When the Henchmen found Edison imprisoned when they raided the Abruzzo compound, they weren't entirely sure what to think of the taciturn, tough Romanian. Since then, he has more than proven his worth to the MC, but particularly with his fighting skills and burning drive to right wrongs to abused women. In the Henchmen world, we are not surprised by tough women. Seriously badass women. Like Lo. Like Maze. Like JStorm. And like Lenny, who lives in the worst neighborhood in town amongst the hookers, addicts, drug dealers and all-around scumbags like the Third Street gang who own her building. Lenny works in a nasty old bar where she spends her nights working the late shift selling cigarettes and booze to sleazy guys who only occasionally try to hit on/molest her due to her reputation as a ballbuster. Literally. Ok, so it was only one hand and one nose that were busted, but still. Lenny spends all of her free time and money training hard, learning every single martial art at the gym run by Lo and Maze, and when she hears about Systema, which uses momentum and pressure points, she can't wait to get trained. Edison is the master of Systema, and while their chemistry is off the charts, Lenny's [justified] walls are huge obstacles to Edison getting to know her better, as more than just a booty call. Heart-breaking back histories of both Lenny and Edison make this one of Jessica Gadziala's most poignant stories. This book has it all: beauty, ugliness, violence, loyalty, justice and above all, love. Utterly brilliant!

***Received an ARC for an honest review ***

After reading Edison I had to take some time to reflect on my thoughts and it left me with a massive book hangover. I'm not gonna give away but know you NEED to read this book.

I LOVED this book!!!
Not only does it have a strong, independent, sarcastic heroine Lenny and a Romanian, mysterious, hot as sin hero it also has so much heart. I warn you if you are a crier then grab some tissues and be ready for your heart strings to be pulled.

This book was another 5 star book from Jessica. Jessica warned us that Lenny was a bit prickly and she is in the beginning. It took me a while to warm up to get, but by 50% in I was rooting for her. I was hoping she would let her guard down enough to let Edison in. And what can I say about Edison. His back story was a mystery to us until the very end. But what a story he had to tell.
After Lenny has grown up with men consistently leaving her, she is very untrusting of men. But after Edison spots her and gets to know her, he makes it his mission for her to know what it is like for a man to keep his promise.

I love these Henchmen and how gruff and grizzly they are on the outside, but once they meet their women, you see them become big teddy bears.

Good read but felt choppy

The format to me made the story seem choppy. Don’t get me wrong it was a good emotional heart wrenching story. Edison is a hero in my eyes and I have no problem with his actions at all. Lenny was so complex and hard to like at times, but her heart was true.

The only drawback was the format.

Is a great story... sad, raw, emotional... But i think it lack more development, more interaction between them. half time they where together, she was grieving (sobbing, sleeping, spaced out)
For me the book needed more 20-30 pages!

edit: What was his name after all?!?!

CHAPEAU!!!! OMG! What a wonderful story! I think the one I liked most about in the series (up to this moment) and, definitely, JG is overcome with each story.

Ovation

With Edison I felt a connection, something, a couple of stories ago, in the Navesink Bank Universe Order has been missing for me... so I was, kind of craving for that connection, and it comes in an OUTSTANDING way! Here I had the whole package.

The most feisty woman who is blunt, who says what she thinks and is hard to gnaw, but at the same time has her own demons. And can be faithful and love like no one.

A quiet man, who we had not known much, but who gives everything for Lenny, cares about her, lets her be and enjoys it. He had wars to fight and goods to be done, to become who he is.

Ovation

A story that has everything!!!! Love, sadness, disillusionment, brotherhood, failure, strength, struggle, union, SUPPORT, stand by your side and more! I loved it and I enjoyed every page of it, unable to drop the book until I finished!!! Crying with situations alien to them but that make them suffer without stopping and especially I keep crying for the last sentence in the epilogue:
“Yeah, bud, I would love to have a tea party with you”
Because I know what it means for Lenny, what she had to overcome and the weight she's droping with those words, accepting what happened and looking to the future!

P.S. I liked it so much, that I didn't even miss my Girls Club moments, something rare in me hahahahaha
