Cherry Pie by Virginia Sexton a five-star read that will leave you wanting more. Virginia Sexton writes a great story that has some funny and touching moments, I could have read another hundred pages. Knox was a man that I would have loved to have whisked me off my feet, but I’m glad it was on Crystals shift. This was a sweet as pie story, that had great plot lines running through. A very well don’t story.

I read Cherry Pie as an ARC for an honest review. This is a novella and a great quick read.
Crystal is a 21 year old diner waitress, who is also a virgin. She dreams of a night of passion with a handsome alpha man. Maddy, her roomate and friend, believes her to be unrealistic. That is until Knox Lockwood walks in with a beautiful woman with purple hair. They argue as Knox tries to defuse tye situation.
Knox Lockwood is a sexy alpha male and when he sees Crystal he is immediately taken by her. He plays it cool and tries to keep his date Jazzmene calm as she is drunk. They have an event to attend in a little over 2 hours and things get out of hand as she becomes belligerent. Needless to say Jazzmene walks out on him. He realizes Crystal looks to be the same size as Jazzmene and she can probably fit the dress and shoes to take her place for the night. He asks but without waiting for the answer he basically sets it up collaborating with Maddy. With apprehension Crystal gets ready for a date with Knox with Maddy's help. When she comes out dressed for the charity ball she looks amazing and Knox feels extremely lucky.
They have a great time even though there were a few awkward moments. Crystal makes a good impression on Mrs. Scaravelli, the woman who is holding Knox back from the Waterfront Land deal he so badly wants. When the night ends abruptly and Knox feels his desire and connection that he felt is not reciprocated he leaves. No info was exchange between them although his last words included call him.
As they both wonder why the other hasn't gotten into contact there is a development with Mrs. Scaravelli. She wants to have dinner with Knox but the catch is he has to bring Crystal. Now he has to convince a woman he thinks doesn't want him to go out on a second date with him. He has a talk with Maddy and she fills him in on how Crystal feels about him . He realizes that now all he has to do is plan an amazing date for after the meeting with Mrs. Scaravelli. Maddy has agreed to do the convincing and know that Crystal feels the same way seaks the deal. These two have sexy chemistry. This was a steamy read and I enjoyed it alot. Virginia Sexton is a great author and one of my favorites.

This was your classic Cinderella type story, except it is not PG. In The Cinderella story you have a waitress from the New York named Chrystal. Crystal is a twenty-one year old virgin. She is waiting for Mr. Right, not Mr. Right Now as her bff Maddy says she needs.
One day during her shift at the diner a hot couple walks in and sits at her table. The couple is arguing. Maddy gets all excited. “Oh my God, Crystal, do you know who that is? That’s Knox Lockwood. Seriously. Knox. Lockwood.” Of course Crystal doesn’t have a clue who that it. So of course Maddy let’s her know. “Oh, only the most eligible bachelor in three counties,”
When the argument gets out of hand a the woman with Knox storms away he doesn’t know what to do. She was supposed to be his date to a charity function that eve. When the hot waitress inquired if he needs anything else, a lightbulb goes off. Now if he can just convince this waitress to be his date.
This story was a fun and exciting read with hot steamy parts. It is a fast paced story of a whirlwind romance. The characters are fun and interesting. This book will grab your attention and hold you captive. Though it is a quick read, it is highly entertaining. I wish it were a little bit longer, but overall a wonderful read.

Crystal and Knox are the perfect blend of funny, sweet, and off the charts sexy and will make you believe in It Could Happen To You HEAs. Crystal is a sweet and hardworking diner girl. She is about what you would expect of the girl next store… v-card included! She is waiting for Mr Right to make it special and hopefully it will happen soon. When a handsome and sexy billionaire walks into her diner and asks her out its seems like something straight of a RomCom and far to good to be true. Knox needs a date for a charity function since his date decided to get blato and he needs this night to close on a deal. When he notices the beautiful waitress he asks her if she wouldn’t mind accompanying him. Not only does she charm his prospective client, she also infiltrates his mind. Knox is drawn to this girl and he will do anything to make her his especially when he learns that he would be her first.

Crystal is a beautiful young women at 21 working in a restaurant. she is still a virgen and she is day dreaming about the perfect romantic guy. One evening the most eligible bachelor of three countries Knox Lockwood is visiting the restaurant with a drunk date that he was going to bring to an a important charity ball. After a fight the date is leaving and Knox is inviting Crystal instead. Is Knox Crystal's prince charming or is it all a dream ? A great book. Very well written and I loved. It was fun, sweet and so romantic and of course hot. Definitely worth to read

This was a good book it wasn't great at least for me.
It's a fast paced book that will have you not blinking throughout the book in fear that you will miss something. Have no fear though you won't be disappointed in the end, but you will feel like you missed something along the way.
I wish there would have been more to the story actually.

I give Cherry Pie 5 stars for making me tingly inside. This feel good story is like reading every little girls favourite Cinderella story. You feel the love between the characters and everyone loves a HEA ending.
Virginia Sexton is a great author. I’ve read a couple of her books and am always left feeling very content. Her characters are always interesting, all alpha male and the woman that tames him. Fun and flirty.
Knox needs a date immediately and Crystal just happens to be the same size, or close to it, as the date that left him standing in the restaurant. Will he be able to convince her to be his date for the ball?

Knox is a rich businessman who is trying to get approval of his most recent project past a board of directors. One board member is keeping quiet and to butter her up he wants to go to the fundraiser for her favorite charity. He asks a famous rich girl to be his date but she got too drunk and angry at him when he took her to a restaurant to sober up. Knox is drawn to the beautiful waitress who waited on them and how patiently she had handled the whole conflict. When he realizes the waitress and his former date are the same size he begs the waitress to help him out.
Crystal is a poor waitress who doesn't go out much. Her plans for that evening were to watch TV in her PJs. When the hot guy Knox asks her to help him, she is torn. He is very hot and she would like to help but she has never done anything like this before. He makes her feel things she has never felt before because she is still a virgin. Crystal Jennings is a waitress working when she first sees Knox for the first time. He brought his date in to sober her up but ended up dateless for a major dinner and asked Crystal if she would join him. Agreeing to go with him she uses his dates dress and her friend helps her get ready. This dinner is for a fundraiser but its more than that for Knox he needs to get the hostess on board with a business deal or he'll lose a lot of money. Needing a break Crystal escapes through the kitchen and outside and runs into who she thinks is more hired help she goes to go back when she's invited to stay. Without knowing it she was talking to the lady Knox was wanting to talk to. They bonded over their love of cats. Knox gets jealous when Max is mention having no clue that Max is a cat..lol What was supposed to be one night turned into several as Knox needed Crystal's help more than he originally thought. Can this pair make a go of something more or will it all be business for Knox?
Virginia Seton has done it again another 5 star hit. The chemistry between Knox and Crystal was sizzling hot. This story will have you reading non stop from page one. I can't wait to read the next book by this author. I recommend you grab this book if you haven't done so yet.

So Knox is a pretty big deal ... in his world. Billionaire, handsome, sought-after - he's the one who sends them packing when he's done. Being in a position where he needs a woman who is immune to all his charms has never happened to him before, and to say that Crystal has him intrigued would be a vast understatement. His drunken date runs out on him at a diner right before the big charity ball, so he all but commands the spunky waitress to take her place, wear the dress he already has in his car, and help him close the deal that's the reason he's attending the ball.
From this beautifully arranged setup, Crystal is both adorable and sincere, guarded yet willing to allow Knox to push her out of her comfort zone. A chance meeting between a billionaire, Knox and a waitress in a diner, Crystal. The story that unfolds is a Cinderella tale with him needing a date to an event when his date stalks out of the diner. He also happens to have a dress and shoes ready when he takes a chance and asks Crystal to join him. But one date isn’t enough and when a business associate insists that Crystal join him to close a deal, he has his excuse to go back to her.
A great story that kept me hanging in anticipation to a steamy scene and a night that was breathtaking. These two were great together who brought out the best in each other and a story with no troublemakers or people trying to break them up with a playboy in the tabloids only and a beautiful woman waiting for her Prince Charming.
Virginia Sexton gets better and better with the story telling and I love how the story flowed perfectly, the no drama involved and that Knox wasn’t a man wh***, or at least it wasn’t bragged about along with a HEA that made me sigh and wrapped it up perfectly, that even though I received an ARC I had to buy it since it’s my favorite from this author so far.

A delicious romance
I loved Crystal and Knox as individual characters and then as a couple. From the beginning they were so good together although Crystal was worried about her virginity and being a waitress. Her interactions with her friend Maddy were so funny - was great to know Maddy had her back although perhaps a little more openly than Crystal would have liked. The little side story with Knox’s work and Crystal’s meeting with Mrs Scaravelli were perfect scene setters. I loved Knox’s
misunderstanding about Max, very clever!
The romance of Knox’s seduction of Crystal was beautifully done - just tipped a little off target (in a good way) by Crystal’s fear about the rose petals. I could imagine doing that myself. The whole story made me smile and giggle and think back to being 21 again - yes, I would have loved to have had a Knox in my life then, not for the money but for the romance. What a cute, romantic and fairly quick read. I have loved every book so far that I have read by Virginia Sexton and this one is included. Crystal works in a diner, she's 23 years old and still a virgin. She doesn't seem to think that she will find the "one" and when her friend Maddy who she also works with tries to talk her into going out, it kind of back fires. A very sexy man walks into the dine one night, his name is Knox Lockwood. He is New York's most eligible bachelor and he's there with a woman who doesn't want to be there. When she leaves him stranded in the diner so he no longer has a date, he asks Crystal to go. She's shocked to say the least but she ends up going with him. They are from two different worlds can they find something they have in common? What will happen at the ball? Will she feel like she belongs? They have great chemistry but she is a virgin, will she tell him? As I said, this is a quick read that is worth your time. Well written and the characters were very likable.

Such a cute story! When Knox brings his very drunk date into the restaurant that Crystal and her friend Maddy work in all he wants to do is get his date sobered up so she can go to a charity ball with him. Well not only did he fail to get her sobered up but she walked out on him, but when he realizes Crystal is the same size he convinces her to go to the ball. Crystal thinks he is the handsomest man she has ever seen and she can’t believe he asked her but she has a few secrets she isn’t ready to share with him so right after she runs away. Both Knox and Crystal are miserable without each other but the difference between a waitress and a billionaire are a lot. This was just a nice it could happen to you story and you really can feel yourself in the characters places.

This is sweet love story about the girl next door, Crystal. She is a 21 year old hardworking waitress who happens to be a virgin. One day while working in walks a hunk of a man, Knox. He comes in wearing a tuxedo and looks absolutely amazing with a woman who is also perfect but when Crystal pays attention to the details she sees things are not perfect. After his date walks out on him, Knox ends up talking Crystal into coming on a last minute date with him and things take off from there. There is a slight bump in their road but once Knox understands where Crystal is coming from can he get her to give him a chance? I enjoyed how Crystal was able to help Knox with his business deal and hold her own! Knox will surprise you as he turns out to be more than just a wealthy businessman man! This has been an enjoyable and romantic story. Crystal, a young waitress and very naive girl has an accidental encounter with a sexy billionaire in the diner where she works. How does he actually happen to be there? Well, he needed to sober up his date before going to a charity event but fate has other plans for him because his date dumps him and he then realizes that the sexy waitress stirs something inside him. So without hesitation he asks her to be his date for the charity event. What will happen next, I really cannot reveal but I can surely say that this book is all about fate.This is a Cinderella story but in a more steamy way because Crystal is still a virgin and she’s waiting for the right man to share this special moment. I really recommend this book. I’m a dreamer and this book is the proof that soul mates really exist.

This is the third book that I have had the chance to review for Virginia. I feel like I keep repeating myself, but I really wish they would be longer. They have such great potential to be so much more. That being said, Knox and Crystal had steam and a connection. I wish that there would have been more of a buildup from coming together after their misunderstanding before we got to the conclusion. This is the third book that I have had the chance to review for Virginia. I feel like I keep repeating myself, but I really wish they would be longer. They have such great potential to be so much more. That being said, Knox and Crystal had steam and a connection. I wish that there would have been more of a buildup from coming together after their misunderstanding before we got to the conclusion. One of the things that I love the most about Virginia's stories is that she gives a great epilogue and insight into the HEA of the characters.

I received an ARC of this book for an honest review. A quick easy modern day PG13 version of Cinderella. Crystal us a 21 year old waitress In a chain restaurant. She also a Virgin with dreams of Prince Charming sweeping her off her feet. One day a modern day prince charming entered her restaurant with a woman with purple hair on his arm. his goal to sober her up with coffee failed and she bolted from restaurant. Knox was the most eligible bachelor in the city with dreamy looks and a huge wallet. Knox needs a date and Crystal is free tonight. Enter Maddy who is Crystal's Co worker and best friend. Maddy fixes up her best friend for the date with Prince Charming. The rest is history.

This was a fantastic modern day Cinderella fairy tale! Knox needed a date for a charity event after his date got mad and walked out on him at a local restaurant he took her to trying to get her sobered up. His chance encounter with waitress Crystal was perfect because he wanted her on first sight. Her friend and fellow waitress Maddy convinced her to go and helped her get ready. One night wasn't enough because he comes back again for another date and it's mind blowing! The chemistry between these two characters is HOT! A wonderful short story with humor, friendship, romance, and a fairy tale come true. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Very well written story. I like the storyline and plot. The main characters are well described and develops nicely. The story has a good flow.
In this book the supporting characters also have big opinions and they are not neutral. I like that. Chrystal has her dream guy and when he suddenly is there she cannot believe it and tries to run away. I like Knox a lot. He is a guy that is billionaire but down to earth.
The chemistry are over the top and the hot scenes are well written and beautiful. I like this sweet short story but would have loved an epilogue or book about what happens next with Maddy.

This fabulous story features Knox and Crystal. These two met by accident but it was fate. The awe and attraction was instant for both of them. Knox is a genuinely good guy and very sexy. Crystal is one of those natural beauties that doesn’t really know how truly beautiful she is. This is a type of Cinderella story and I would have loved for it to have been longer. These characters and their story could have supported a much longer book.
I really enjoyed their story and it is probably my favorite book by Virginia Sexton. I would have loved to have spent more time with them. I look forward to the next book from this awesome author.

A modern day fairytale Cinderella kicked up a notch loved it! Sense of humor, spice and modern spin.
Knox most eligible bachelor trying to get his date sober for a charity event and he reminded this is why he only has dates for events and doesn't date for relationships he doesn't have patience for this drama. Crystal the waitress feels for the guy and the girl she knows the guy is not attached or invested and so everything going south. Then the girl walks and he ask Crystal to accompany him.....the table turns..love the story takes place from there Spidey, sassy, funny and fairytale happy ending! Violence 0, Sex 2

I just discovered Virginia Sexton a few months ago and she has quickly moved up my list as one of my favorite authors for 2017. She creates characters with real flaws and problems. She also gives me an escape from life in her latest Cherry Pie – waitress meets billionaire. I love how easily I was pulled into Crystal’s character and of course Knox, our alpha dominating billionaire. Crystal will protect what she values most and isn’t one to chase.

I loved this book! Crystal is a sweet, beautiful young woman totally unaware of her charms. And she’s a virgin. Knox runs into her when he tries to sober up a his date for a charity event—one he’s required to bring to try and close a deal with the charity’s benefactor. When his date flies the coop, he asks Crystal to fill-in—she’s about the same size.
He quickly notices that she’s not only a knockout, but that she’s genuine, real. This was a quick, fun read! I voluntarily reviewed this Advance Reader Copy.

This was a great tale from Virginia Sexton. Ordinary, good girl next door and billionaire older man. This is a whirlwind romance with cinderellaesque touches and some slight misunderstandings, a quirky best friend and some seriously hot encounters. Great read! The main characters, Crystal and Knox, are believable and likable, but they can they overcome the fact that they are from two very different worlds?
The supporting characters, in the shape of Maddy (loudmouthed, heart of gold) and Mrs Scaravelli (society hostess) add to the humour and charm of the story.
The story flows smoothly and tension is built by never knowing what Crystal will do....she feels out of her depth and is afraid of being hurt.

A cute, fun quick read. There isn't time for character development in this quick, afternoon read but it is still another sweet romance from Virignia Sexton. It is a fairly clean read but the main characters do have some hot chemistry. The storyline is a somewhat different take on a Cinderella themed plot, but once you start you won't be able to put it down. If you are looking for a sweet, fun quick afternoon read where you get lost in the H & h HEA, this is definitely the book I would recommend!

This book was so cute. Once Knox realizes why Crystal is the way she is. Crystal is a shy virgin who is waiting for her Prince Charming. Not realizing that eventually her Prince Charming would walk into her work with a hot mess of a date. Knox is at a loss this party is everything for his upcoming project. He cant take Jazzmene to this party. Looking around he realizes Crystal is the perfect choice.
Great first love book, Knox has been around the block. Crystal not so much. Love the way their story ended!
