I started reading these books as I finished The Haunting of Maddie Clare and really wanted more ghost stories. So after much searching on GR I found this series and it sounded pretty good. I chose well, I have really enjoyed these three in the one book. It is a slight departure from my normal as I pretty much always read romance and these books so far don't have that for the main character, Charlie. But one can hope! In any event, even without the romance they are very enjoyable. I would say they are on the lighter side of seriousness. The main character Charlie can see ghosts and her family are all witches. The stories all have a mystery with ghosts and magic. I'm definitely going to keep going with this series. Lucky me, many more to read.

Haunting Charlie: Witches of Palmetto Point Book 1, my first read from author Wendy Wang an author I’d not heard of until I received an email from author Gwendolyn Druyor outlining the challenges that her friend Wendy was facing. Wendy’s husband David is in the hospital. He's been there for a couple of weeks already. Something twisted in his guts and his lungs are not working as they should. There have been incremental improvements, but nobody is telling her he's getting better.
She's scared.
Wendy is going to have to cancel the preorder for her next book. Amazon will not allow her to do another presale for a full year. Presales bring in a lot of money, drive rank up for launch day, and are very important to indie authors. It's going to crush her business.
All that on top of spending the holidays in the ICU, wondering...
Motivated to give a new author a try I went out and got the first four books in this series. The first, a 6-hour 49 minute/284-page psychic suspense mystery was thoroughly enjoyable and I plan to read the next three, one-a-day for the rest of the week. ” I received a free Audible copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. Amy Melissa Bentley’s narration adds to the enjoyment. This is for books 1-3. I’d say the rating is about 3.5 for all three together but if I had to rate each separately, the first would be about 2.5-3. It was good but a little lacking in detail. When it finished I did not feel satisfied. The story/characters were interesting enough to keep going though. Book two was definitely much better at about a 3.5 and book three the same. I’m not really interested in reading beyond book three at this time but maybe someday. Overall, for the price of the 3 book set (it was cheap) it’s definitely worth a read.

Enjoyed this set
I enjoyed these stories. Rather fun, a little suspenseful, fantasy. Don't expect an epiphany about life or death, just take your mind off daily life things for awhile. Somebody has to be dead to make this story work since it is mostly about a person who can see and talk to ghosts, but it doesn't include gore unless you don't like the mention of blood. I even found myself liking the reaper.

Enchanting!
I loved the first three books and hope to keep reading more about Charlie’s adventures. Having been a Harry Potter fan, along with my grandchildren, I never get tired of witches and wizards!

Excellent, beautifully written
This series is awesome. The characters are so intense and the stories draw you in. I couldn't put it down. I've read all three books,one after another. I just couldn't get enough of this family and their lives.

Witches, Reapers, and mystery
These three are great stories. The bond the cousins, sisters, and aunt of this coven share is endearing. The family love helps them help unfortunate souls stuck in the in between.

Engaging Stories
If you enjoy Sci Fi this might be a fun read for you. The stories are different from others I've read. The characters are well drawn and surprising.

I love this type of story
This is a good read. If you enjoy Heather Graham you should give Wendy Wang a try. I read the first book in this series, and immediately got the next two.
