Amelia Reid has it all. Married for twenty five years to a wonderful man, Pastor Carson Reid, and the mother to their two children, Aden and Payton. Add on the nice home, elite status in the community and the prospering church which she is the first lady would make anyone envy her. Now that her husband is better after his bout of pneumonia, she can focus on the pending marriage of their daughter. Rowan was the man of her dreams and Amelia was on cloud nine. That was until she thought about Aden. He had decided to date none other than Juliana Simmons, the church’s very own Jezebel. Little does Amelia know, Aden dating Juliana is the least of her problems. Secrets begin to unfold turning the life she once knew into something she could never fathom for herself or her family. Not only will her marriage and family be in jeopardy but so will her position in the church.

Skye made a choice to wait until she got married to indulge in the passion of the flesh, wanting her first time to be with her husband. Seth was the man who stole her heart and made her his wife. Loving her husband with every fiber of her being, Skye is enjoying her newlywed status thinking her life couldn’t be more perfect. That was until she gets an anonymous call from a woman claiming to be having an affair with her husband. Confronting Seth with the accusations of the woman he quickly denies it leaving Skye to battle her thoughts alone. Should she ignore the phone call from this woman or believe in the man she planned to spend the rest of her life with. Her heart is telling her she’s reading too much into it but her intuition is leading her in a different direction. Needing proof, Skye comes up with a plan to find out for herself praying to God that her womanly intuition is wrong. What Skye finds out would be more than any woman can handle.

All Juliana Simmons wanted was for someone to love her for who she was. Unfortunately, life has taught her early on that love was just a four letter word that meant nothing. Now, she feels that she’s met the man of her dreams when she caught the attention of the pastor’s son. Her feelings for him are strong but his mother isn’t having it. First Lady or not, Juliana knows Amelia does not like her because of her reputation. This makes her want to make it work with Aden even more. The only problem is there is another man in the wings for her. Never the one to back down from a challenge, she’s willing to stoop to levels unimaginable to get the man that she wants. Will she get him in the end or will she suffer dire consequences because of her unholy actions.

The most important title I have in this world is being a woman, wife, and mother. I'm so happy to add author to this list as well. I tapped into this passion working in the corporate world for a major insurance company. I wasn't happy in my job and I had my boss who asked me what is something I've always wanted to do. I told him write and from that day on, I've been writing ever since.

My debut novel My Man's Best Friend was published in 2012 by Urban Book/Kensington Publishing. Each year following came My Man's Best Friend II-Damaged Relations, My Man's Best Friend III-Severing Ties, The Johnson Sisters, and Big Girl's Drama.

Signing with Anointed Inspirations Publishing (AIP) in the summer of 2017, Null & Void was my next book to be released October 2017.

Yes my books seem to be on opposite ends of the spectrum but you know what, you only live once. I can write drama. I can write enticing scenes. And I can write Christian. Whatever is placed in my heart to write, I'm going to do it.

I'm a living witness that dreams can come true. So, if there is anything you have a passion to do, go for it. Life is too short not to. For me, this is only the beginning. The sky is the limit and I'm reaching high to get where I want to be.

Great Read

I really wanted to give this book five star's but there were too many grammatical errors. However the storyline within itself do deserve five star's. Pastor Carson and his wife Amelia was the ideal couple and doting parents to their son Aden and daughter Payton but everything is not always what it seems. Amelia was tired of their houseguest Dee Dee who is the Pastor sister leaching off of them. What the Amelia didn't know was that her sister in-law was holding some devastating secrets over her own brothers head that would turn their lives upside-down. Juliana was trifling and tried to act innocent. I wish Aden would have taken heed to his mother's feelings towards Juliana because it took something drastic to happen before his eye's were opened. Skye ended up following her women's intuition when it came to her husband Seth. What she discovered broke her spirit.

Underrated

I LOVED this book. I loved the messages it carried. I loved the fact that there were no explicit scenes or profanity. The storyline was awesome. It was such a unique take on the sins of a pastor and the fallout it brings. So the author missed a five star rating due to the many errors. I struggled with the rating, as I highly recommend this book, but authors need to take responsibility for the full work. To diminish such an outstanding work by poor editing is demeaning to both the author and the readers. Having said that, I am interested to see what else Ms. Henderson has published and look forward to reading more of her works.

On what a story line!!

This novel was starting out as great and would have been a great 5 star read but there were so many errors. No editing was done on this novel! I really loved Carson and Amelia and The love they shared. Hated Dee Dee and Juliana who was truly crazy! The ending was abrupt and no idea what happened to Rowan and Payton, it left the reader to try and gather a conclusion. I am really shocked that Tresser released a book with these many errors and to say it's disappointing is an understatement! I've never read a book from her with these many errors ever, I've read all of her novels. I truly loved the storyline but the editing, horrible!!!

Titles don’t mean nothing when emotions get tossed in

Thank you for showing that because your a child of God we’re all still human and fall short or have natural human reactions to real life situations. However First Lady did her thing with holding it together as long as she did because had it been me ..... All I would be able to say is God’s not done with me yet!!!

Wonderful story

This book was well written and it took turns that I didn’t expect but it also has an amazing lesson as well. We are all human of course and make mistakes which is why God created forgiveness but for some reason it’s a hard thing to do when we allow pain and anger lead the way.

Interesting story

Overall it was a captivating story. I liked that it was not very predictable. The writer left me wondering what happens to Peyton and Rowan's relationship.

I am not sure if there are issues with ebooks it there were too many wording errors in this book. The editing should have been better.

Wow

This was real good, but it had so many grammatical errors. I would like to know what happened to Rowan. He just disappeared. I'm so happy for Skye. This book ended on a good note.

What's done in the dark will come to light

This book was a page turner for me. There are those out there that can relate to some of the characters. God is good all the time. I would recommend this book to any Christian.
