Foreplay: A Bad Boy's Baby Romance by Rye Hart was a great read. She executed this book to its fullest potential. The plot was good, characters' were well developed and the epilogue was a satisfying closure to Tate and Kami's story. Kami was never quite the best at choosing a partner, so will Tate be different or will she be left heartbroken? The reader is brought on a journey through ups and downs, the discoveries of lies and hidden truths and a conclusion that will make you swoon. It is packed with passion, enthusiasm, lust and fervor - enough to fog your glasses, so maybe contacts would be a better option because some parts are so hot that your cheeks will blush and your vision may indeed become hazy!

The author developed her side characters enough that makes me wish that she continues this story as a spin off. I have a few in mind that I would instantly 1-click at the mention of another addition to Foreplay.

Okay, I think you get the fact that I totally enjoyed this read. Now, can we have a moment of silence to appreciate this cover.

This cover alone had me wanting to read the blurb and ultimately the story itself. No doubt, I will need this paperback on my shelf so that I can drool over it at any given time I wish! Model, Travis DesLaurier is no stranger to the romance book world as he has blessed the cover of many. Each time, the cover's have been phenomenal and Foreplay is nothing shy of breathtaking!

I would recommend Foreplay to others.

FOREPLAY is a steamy contemporary romance about Tate, a multimillionaire who was set to receive his inheritance in less than a year, but only if he settles down and produces an heir, and Kami, a workaholic who recently fell out of love with her cheating rockstar ex-boyfriend.

They both have two things in common: they both loved photography and are ready to have a baby with the right person. They met online via a dating app. But Tate Evans , who has a screen name "Foreplay ", was afraid that his secrets will cause him to lose Kami, who became the most important woman in his life. Luckily, people around them were instrumental in revealing the truth and their love for each other was strengthened.

This book was a fantastic read! Light with a little angst, fast-paced and steamy with a touch of naughty. Rye Hart books keep getting better!

I have read an advanced copy of this book and this is a fair and honest review and recommendation voluntarily shared.

I give this book 5 stars. The storyline between Kami and Tate started with two people who need the same thing a baby. Kami wanted a baby because she had no family left and wanted to have a connection. Tate need a baby to get his inheritance by the time he is thirty five. It has a lot of steamy sex scenes, betrayal, thrill, suspense, love, family issues, no cheating, no abuse and a HEA ending. I voluntarily reviewed this Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

Rye Hart brings new age dating into this book. Kami and Tate meet over an internet dating site. Neither expects anything out of it really. These two have a lot in common and enjoy each other company. There just happens to be great chemistry between the two. This is a good read. I voluntarily read an advance reader copy for my honest review.

This was a fantastic book starting with the cover! It has a great storyline and smoking hot chemistry with sweet characters. It will grab you from the very beginning and you won’t want to put it down. I am voluntarily leaving my review after reading this arc.

Tate was as player but was reminded again if he didn't get married and have an heir before his 35th birthday he would not get an of the money his grandmother had left him.

His friend told him about the dating website he set up and told Tate that he could look for his baby mama on there at the same time helping his friend out. He sees Kami on the website so he decided to send her the usual greeting. He really was surprised when she text him without a nude photo

Kami really wanted to have a baby and start a family and she was hoping to find someone on the website. Tate answered Kami's message really quickly they text back and forth. He found out that she loved photography as much as he did plus camping out.

She did finally send him another picture but it was taken by her friend Rain and it was her at work. He realized the girl that he had been fantasizing about was Kami he then knew where he had seen her, it was the coffee shop where she worked. He knew he had seen her face somewhere before especially since it was her face he had seen in the shower. Tate set up a date for them to meet up face to face.

Needless to say that Kami and Tate hit it off especially when he took her out to his favorite place to shoot the astral photos. She had brought her camera out he helped with the placement while she took photos of her favorite area Orion.

Things had been going very well hot and heavy when her friend Rain was told that he still was up on the site checking out other women. He had kept his profile on the website she was so upset especially after asking her to move in with him. She felt the same way she did when she found out the guy she was with before did the same thing until she caught him.

Kami realized that he was as bad as her last boyfriend which didn't end well. Her friend Rain was so upset she goes to Tate's house to give him a piece of her mind. Meanwhile Kami had been getting sick she thought she had the flu. She went and took a pregnancy test and found out she was pregnant with Tate's baby. What was she going to do.

While Rain was reading Tate the riot act he told her all about what was going on with the website and also his inheritance. Rain finally had the proof she needed to see that he was telling the truth. She had to rush home to tell Kami.

There was going to be a big Gala exhibit at the planetarium featuring Tate's photographs of astral photography. He was hoping that Kami would forgive him after Rain told her the truth and show up. Finally he sees Kami standing there looking radiant Tate goes to talk to Kami she tells him to see about his guests and would wait for him.

Kami was apprehensive about telling Tate about the baby but he was thrilled that it had happened with Kami. He now felt his life was taking on a new beginning.

When I see the name Rye hart on the cover of a book, I know that I'm in for a steamy and sensuous adventure with humour, great characters, witty repartee and that I won't want to put my Kindle down until I've finished the story. Foreplay falls perfectly in this category with Kami, our heroine, who is a sweet young woman who has been messed around by her cheating worthless ex and Tate , our hero, who is handsome, tall, gorgeous, wealthy, and did I say gorgeous?, as well as charming, suave, intelligent, witty, caring, passionate and loving but has issues with his family. You've read the storyline above which is great and true to the story so I'm not going to repeat that. What I will say is that when they finally meet each other I just knew that they were very compatible with each other. He's been fantasising about her for months and the passion and lust between them is positively off the charts. This is, like all Rye's books, unmissable, a real page turner and one that I felt was a wonderful love story which we all love here in the romance section of a bookstore. I can't recommend this more highly than 5 stars as Amazon won't let me. But believe me when I say it's one of her best books and you need to go grab it quick. Settle down with a fan or air con on, maybe a glass of something nice to drink and indulge. I received an arc of this book and voluntarily leave my honest review of it here.
DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED.

Kami and Tate are finding love in this new age HEA and boy oh boy is it s’wondeful. Kami has been woefully burned. Her ex liked to put her down and belittle her and then in supremely crushing blow cheated. She wants to make better life choices and find someone that she can make a future with and start a family with. When her best friend suggests trying out a dating site she agrees even if it means weeding through unwanted and sometimes rude advances. Tate has been living his life on his terms regardless of upsetting his father. He likes his photography and wants to follow his passions. But with his pending inheritance hanging in the balance unless he finds himself a lady and gets himself an heir, so he needs to find someone he can think a little more long term about. When his buddy asks him to help him garner business for his dating site and maybe find his lady in the process he figures what the heck it’s worth a shot. He is amazed when he comes across Kami the sweet photo taking barista that he has fantasizing about for months. Seems like he hit the online dating jackpot. She is everything you could hope for when you when go looking a girl - smart, sexy, and beautiful. Now he will just need to convince her to go along with his cockamamie instant family plan… but when you know you know.

Tate has a problem. Right now he has inherited a trust fund from his grandmother but if he isn't married and expecting a child by his 35th birthday he loses everything. If that isn't bad enough his dad has to approve the good girl Tate marries. With little more than a year left, Tate is getting desperate. A friend offers Tate access to his dating web site in return for Tate sending messages to new comers and other women who don't get much attention. Tate agrees and then gets on and meets Kami.
Kami is a photographer/waitress. She tried starting her own studio but it failed and so she is waiting tables to get by. She is just out of a bad relationship with a musician but she just can't get rid of her ex. Her best friend and her ex are part of a band that rehearse right under Kami. Kami doesn't miss her ex but her biological clock is ticking loudly. Kami was considering becoming a single mom but her friend convinces her to try dating again. She signs Kami up on this new web-site. Very soon, Kami gets a message from a guy who chose foreplay as his user name. After chatting, Tate and Kami hit it off so well that they start to date. Tate helps Kami with her ex problem.
The passion in this book is very high. I loved both Tate and Kami. I voluntarily received a copy of this story and this is my honest review.

Kami has hit a bit of a rough patch. She started dating a guy and things seem to be fine then he starts putting her down, then she loses her photography business, only to come home from work early to catch the same sleazy boyfriend in her bed with someone else. But even after breaking up with him, she still has to see him since he is in her best friend's band that happens to practice in the garage below her apartment. She wants to have a child so bad and thinking about just going to a sperm bank but her best friend talks her into trying an online dating service first. That's when she meets Tate.
Tate just broke up with his girlfriend but is constantly reminded by his for her about the terms of his inheritance. He needs to marry and have a child before his 35 birthday. His best friend just started a new company...an online dating service, and he talks Tate into helping boast ratings and to make the woman feel good about themselves by having a good looking man like Tate massaging them. While he does that he could fine the woman meant for him.
Tate and Kami hit it off right away. Things are going along great only Tate is keeping major secrets.
This is a fast romance in dual POV.

Another great by Rye Hart about a millionaire, Tate, who needs to be settled down with an heir before his next birthday. His friend asks for help on a dating site, having him talk up the ladies to keep them interested on the site, so Tate decides to kill two birds with one stone, find the woman to give him an heir and help his friend out. He didn’t expect to find Kami, a woman who he has dreamed about and ends up falling for her as does she with him. Unfortunately she finds out he’s still on the website and now with her past history, she’s done with him. Will she listen to him and believe him that he never cheated on her.
A great read with steamy scenes and I did enjoy Tate and Kami, their sparks and attraction was jumping off the pages and I loved how Tate was totally smitten by Kami and how he respected her wishes, taking it slow and learning about each other first. Kami was a delight as well, she was independent and wanted Tate for himself and not because of his money. I also enjoyed the fact that no exes came between them and the drama that was there was between them and that the drama wasn’t exaggerated or that it went on and on making their HEA even better and sweeter.

rcvd an advanced reader copy from the author for giving my two cents. we meet Kami, waitress who is plagued by her cheating ex who happens to be in her bffs band. Kami can't seem to find the right guy...mainly a no -jerk. her bff rain convinces her to sign up for a dating site. Tate, rich playboy who just kicked out his gf, is living in borrowed time. he was left a hefty inheritance by his gramma but has to get married and produce an heir by his 35th bday...no problem right? tate just wants to do photography and find a woman who has the same passions as him. he has a dark haired beauty in his mind, he's seen her but can't place it. he is approached by his bud to help with his dating site as an admin. kill two birds with one stone...find a suitable girl and help new women to the sight boost their confidence. Tate logs on to do his job and is immediately taken back by a dark haired beauty from his dream...he has his sight set on her. good conversation leads to a coffee date. both love photography and enjoy each other company and hit or off really good. kami is so happy but she is waiting for the other shoe to drop. Tate is keeping a big secret from Kami. What will Kami do when she finds out? will she run or will she stay? can Tate fix his mistakes?

A very entertaining read by Rye Hart. Foreplay is the most delicious tale of playboy Tate and sweet barista Kami. Tate is a playboy running out of time. He stands to lose his trust fund if he doesn't settle down with a young woman and have a child before his next birthday. He has just broken up the latest gold-digger with whom he had nothing in common. Kami is a barista at The Loving Cup coffee shop who recently suffered a nasty breakup after finding her musician boyfriend Devin in her bed with another woman. Unfortunately, because he is in her friend's band, she can't seem to rid of him. He takes pleasure in insulting her and flaunting his sex life in her face. Running out of time, Tate agrees to work as an admin on his best friend's dating website. He has an ideal fantasy woman he has been dreaming about in his and is surprised to find her on the website. Kami joined at her best friend Rain's insistence. Both love photography and clearly have insane chemistry. Can these two find their HEA? What happens when Kami learns of Tate's situation? I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. Really hoping Hazen gets his story next!!!! I would love to see him find his "one"! Possibly Megan??? That would be very interesting to read. There banter between them too cute.

Loved it

Kali is a 30 something waitress and photographer, with a cheering ex boyfriend who she can't get away from, since he's in her best friend band.
Tate is a 30 something trust fund kid and successful photographer. To get his full inheritances he needs to be married with a child, and that day is rapidly approaching.
Kami and Tate meet through Tate's best friends dating app, and they really hit it off. Tate knows Kami is his soul mate. All is going great until Kami learns that Tate is still active on the dating site, when he asked her to close her account, and to be his girl friend. While Tate's reason for still being on the site is not exactly innocent, he hasn't been cheating on Kami. Now he has to win back the women he loves. He enlists her best friend to do it.
Loved Kami and Tate. Hope Rain and Megan get stories, they both deserve to find their soulmates. Hazen too, would love to meet the women who brings that bad boy to heal.

This was a terrific read—I couldn’t put it down!
Kami has had bad luck: losing her budding photography business, and most notably, her cheating ex Devin whom she’s forced to deal with because he’s in her best friend’s band. And, oh yeah, she lives above the garage where they practice. Her bestie suggests she try a new dating site and she does. Then she meets Tate who seems too good to be true: he loves photography and he’s gorgeous.
Tate has just broken up with the latest in a string of gold diggers. He wants someone who wants him for himself and not his money. He needs someone to settle down with and have a child—if he wants the rest of his inheritance. His friend suggests that Tate work for him on his new dating website. He needs someone to chat up the women who aren’t getting much attention on the site to boost his business. Tate would be able to scout out potential wives/baby mamas while helping a buddy out. When he does so, he runs across a familiar face, one that has fueled some self-love sessions. He decides to go for it. But what happens when honesty hasn’t been your policy and secrets get revealed? Tate is a photographer that has a deadline looming over his head for his inheritance. Tate has to find a woman and settle down and have a child all before his 35th birthday which is coming. So Tate agrees to help his friend Hazen with his dating site as well as maybe find the woman he needs. He is stunned when he comes across the profile of a woman he has been fantasizing about. After they talk for a few times and have one phone call they agree to meet in person. They have so much in common you'd think it would be an easy match maybe if Tate wasn't hiding a secret from Kami it would be easy. One misunderstanding sends Kami running not wanting to make the same mistake again. Will Tate get to explain what he has been doing? Will he meet the deadline to claim his inheritance?

This was a steamy hot romance once I started I couldn't stop until I was at the end. The heat between Kami and Tate is sizzling hot. This story has it all hot sex, great characters and a amazing storyline. If you haven't picked this up yet you really should.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. Another fabulous read from Ms Hart. I loved Kami and Tate's story from the beginning to the end. The attraction between these to was there from the start. Kami is a woman who knows what she wants. She loves photography and wants to someday own her own studio. She had one before but was new to the business and hadn't planned well for it. She knows now that she can make it work . She also wants a baby and is willing to be a single mom. Tate also has a passion for photography. Something his father feels is just a hobby. He comes from money but has never been one to put much emphasis on it. Tate needs to find a wife and have a child by the time he is 35 or he chances losing his inheritance. Both Kami and Tate are told of a dating website by their friends. Each join and are matched up according to their common likes. There is a little bit of drama when it comes to light that Tate not only joined the site but was helping his friend who owns the site. You will have to read the book to find out all that happens to this hot and sexy couple. This was a well written book with great characters and a wonderful storyline. Loved the HEA

Tate enjoys photography and camping, but wants more out of life. As he just broke up with his recent lady, his friend wants him to help get traffic to his dating website, Tate agrees and posts his profile and his username is Foreplay! As he is helping and greeting the new ladies and ladies that don't see much traffic, he comes across Kami's profile, and sends her the basic greeting, but as they start to talk, he quickly realizes he wants more from her than anyone else he has ever come across in his life. Will Kami feel the same way? Can she handle him needing to settle and have an heir by his 35th birthday (which is quickly approaching) in order to get his full inheritance? Can he be honest with Kami before it is too late?

Kami joins the dating site to see what else is out there besides her cheating ex boyfriend who she still sees almost daily. When she meets Tate, she is cautiously optimistic, but will it work? Can Tate really be this nice and good?

This book is great with hot sex scenes, lust, love, growing from damaged relationships, romance, scandal and a HEA. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

This is great about Kami and Tate finding one another. Kami is coming out of a bad relationship whose ex has done wrong to her. Kami still has the need to have a baby especially after she lost her photography business. Tate has a time limit on him if he wants to get his inheritance and the women he dates only want his money. His dad gives him nothing but grief on trying to make a living taking pictures. I love how they each find a way to their happiness. Kami joins a dating app to try her luck and Tate is talked into helping his find with his app and they end up meeting on the app. Both Kami and Tate are photographers and this helps them build a wonderful relationship around it! I was mad at Tate for not being honest with Kami, will it cost him his one true love? Can Kami get over what Tate does or can forgiveness allow a road to happiness? I always enjoy reading Rye’s stories they are filled with great characters and intrigue. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

Beautiful love story. Kami is recently single due to a cheating ex-boyfriend and can’t seem to find the right man. Tate is a recently single guy who can’t find a woman who wants more than his money. They both have a love for photography. A dating site brings them together. Kami for her own reasons of getting back into the dating scene. Tate because he is helping his friend who runs the app. When they meet in person, sparks fly and they hit if off immediately. Things progress and they admit their feelings to one another. BUT Tate has been keeping a couple of secrets from Kami. When Kami finds out she is devastated. Can Tate convince Kami he really does love her and the secrets were only a misunderstanding? With the help of Kami’s bff Rain; Tate is all in on explaining the truth to Kami and asking for forgiveness. This book is a beautiful love story with a few little twists and turns. Grab it and find out if Kami forgives Tate for the “misunderstandings”!

She had come home and found him in bed with another woman.He never gave her back her door key. Now whenever she comes home instead of being in rehearsal, he's on her steps with some bimbo groupie. Kami wants a baby and is glad she didn;t get impregnated by Devin. Rain signed her up on a site where she met Tate. Tate has been left a trust by his grandmother, but his dad talked her into not giving him the bulk which is billions until he has settled down with a woman and produced a child. Tate had seen Kami when he frequented the coffee shop where she worked. The website belonged to Tate's best friend, Hazen. He talked Tate into keeping women interested in the site so they would keep paying. But once he saw Kami on there he never dated anyone else. Hazen gave Tate the profile name of Foreplay. Kami and Tate have photography in common and soon fall in love. A great read. Smoking hot love scenes. Great characters.

This book was a fabulous read. Kami just broke up with a cheating ex. Tate just broke up with his latest gold-digger. Both of them are tired of their past choices and are looking to get settled and have a family. Both of them have a friend that talks them into using a dating site to further their goals. However, unlike Kami who genuinely is looking for Mr. Right, Tate is using the site in order to both help his friend but also to fulfill his inheritance stipulations by trying to find someone he can stand to be around after they have a child together. Kami and Tate are matched up because they both love photography which gives them a strong connection. Tate wants to be loved for himself and not for his money. Kami knows he has money but she doesn't care about it, she just wants him. But he lies by omission about his reasons for being on the site and his true motivations for doing it. Can they work things out? Buy the book to find out. You won't regret it.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. I love Rye Hart's books. They have never left me disappointed. This book is no different. I loved it. Tate is to inherit millions when he turns 35 on the stipulation he is married and has a child. Which is on about 16 months away. His friend owns an on line dating service and he agreed to go on and flirt with the girls that are not getting as much attention as some so they will tell their friends all just to lure more girls to the site. While looking through the pictures he comes acrossa picture of a girl that he's seen somewhere and has been fantasizing about.
Kami is going through some hard times. She lost her business and owes a bunch of money and she caught her boyfriend cheating. And to top it off she has to see him almost everyday because she lives over the garage where his band practices. All she ever wanted was to be a mom and own her own gallery. Her best friend talked her into joining a new dating site. That's where she sees the best looking guy ever.
This is a very good and quick read

Really enjoyed the story between Tate and Kami. Only one issue...I even went back to reread to make sure I hadn't misunderstood. When she and Tate are getting to know each other, she states that the reason she is so interested in astral photography is because "her dad used to take her to the observatory". Then she told him that when "her parents moved a few years ago" that her friend's aunt took her in. At one point, when Rain was trying to tell her about Tate, Kami gets upset and asks if something happened to "Aunt Helen? Or my parents?" Ok, but when she and Tate are out taking pictures she tells Tate that she never knew her dad. That he "took off when he found out my mom was pregnant" and that her mom DIED when she was a freshman in college and that's why she lived with Aunt Helen and Rain. So, I'm confused...were the parents alive and together? Alive and apart? Dad is who-knows-where and mom is dead? What? If you're on an ereader, just search key words and you'll see what I'm talking about if you haven't already. Otherwise it was a good story.
