Put it in your mouth, baby You know it tastes so good
I'm the bad boy of the restaurant world. A master chef. A billionaire businessman. Women come. At least a few times. And then they go. That's just the way I play it, darlin'. One course meal.
Until Nicole comes into my life.
Opening night. She's not impressed. Says that I've gotten too successful. Thinks I've forgotten my roots.
I wouldn't normally care. I'd swat her away without a second thought.
Except...I can't get her out of my head. That amazingly curvy body. With an @$$ you just wanna knead like dough. I'm going crazy.
She thinks she's gonna bring me down. But she has no idea who she's dealing with.
Great set-up: up-and-coming chef with established restaurant feels threatened by celebrity chef setting up shop on her block. It's the perfect premise for clashing egos and lots of "enjoying food as a metaphor for enjoying sex" scenarios.
Instead I got whiplash as Nicole went from "he's such a cocky bastard who makes mediocre food" to giving up her v-card to him the next day. There was no emotional build up, and no chemistry between them. Truly disappointing.
I hate to admit this because I love sexy scenes in my stories but this book was sex, sex, sex and very little story. I enjoyed the bit of story that there was though. Sex scenes were also very long, they could have been cut a lot shorter.
Taste: A Bad Boy Chef Romance is a bright, fresh, sexy read by a new author Natalie Knight. Nicole , a restaurant critic and Palmer, a chef, are engaging, witty, full of humor and there is definite sexual energy between the main characters. I enjoyed the twists and turns provided in this story and the satisfying ending written. I would love to see this author write more in this genre for I would be more than happy to read anything else she writes.
My Rating: 4.5 stars ***** "I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book in exchange for an honest review***
Another rubbish story. Both of H and h were competing to be the best chef in town. He heard her trashing his food and came over and got invited to fuck her at her apartment. So they began fucking over and over again and his restaurant got bad review by one of her friend and she caught him writing her family’s secret recipe. Duh

This book is about Nicole,,, a chef and owner of "The Old Tale" a restaurant that is kinda an omage of sorts to her Grandma,,, she is not making a lot of money,,, kinda just keeping her head above water,,, UNTIL Palmer, another chef,,, a well off chef, is building a high end restaurant called " The Pearl on Park" that Nicole just knows it's going to sink her restaurant,,,, She tells her friend Kate how shes worried about her own restaurant, and one of the restaurant critics that is also Nicole's friend,,,,,
Palmer is a very good looking well to do chef, building his restaurant and keeping his focus on his dishes he's putting out if his kitchen, UNTIL he sees her... he knows her because of her restaurant and because thry are both chefs ,,,, he invites Nicole over for a one on one dinner,,,, he must show her his food and how remarkable he knows it can be,,,,, but there is another party seeming to be trying to help Natalie with her problem,,,, you know the problem,,,,, Percy,,,
NOW is your turn,,,, you HAVE to read this book,,, it is hot and steamy and it's NOT just in the kitchen,,,, these 2 have remarkable chemistry together,,,, but will her being a virgin throw Palmer off her trail,,,, it is a simply MUST READ,,,, Natalie Knight sure knows her stuff,,,,,
I was kinda excited when I read the Taste: A Bad Boy Chef Romance. I read a lot of books but never a bad boy chef! Ok, first a small complaint: when the main character’s name changes several times in the book, it dampers the readers’ experience. It says that the author didn’t even go back and read her own work before pushing publish. The first time it happened, I thought our bad boy was gonna cheat with someone else. I was intrigued, but soon let down when I discovered it was an error. Once, I can forgive, 5 or 6, I’m no longer invested. Another point, the story has good points, but then they were not developed, like the illness, or what was the chef’s full name? Or why did our h go from never to all the time(read the book to find out what I mean😉). Good attempt, just needs a little more.
I voluntary reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book from Booksprout. Oh wow, what an absolutely brilliant story. Lots of hot things going on in their kitchen and not just food. Two chefs, Nicole and Palmer. Nicole is trying to keep her flagging restaurant business afloat and Palmer just starting off. The first meeting is not good as Nicole is slagging Palmer off in his own restaurant. Oh dear. The good thing is, one look into his baby blue eyes and she is smitten. Just like a recipe for success, you need the right ingredients, a good mix and wallah ....a taste to explode in your mouth. Loved it. Lots of ups and downs, misunderstandings and just like a recipe of a good soufflé...it all rose to the occasion.
I just ate up every word of this story about Nicole and Palmer. The rapport even when they were not friends was scintillating and once they got together the story just got hotter and steamier and sexier and more passionate. Palmer’s backstory and Nicole’s family set the scene for Nicole and Palmer to get their HEA, even though there was a slight detour. Delicious read and I am dying to try that steak recipe! Great job Natalie Knight.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I enjoyed this romance between Palmer and Nicole. I thought it had a lot of heat and the chemistry between Nicole and Palmer made for a good read. I liked how Palmer could be himself and he knew Nicole wasn't after his money. It was like he finally knew what it was like to be accepted for being him and not a famous chef. This is the first book I have read by Natalie Knight and I hope to read more from her.
This book was okay ... this is just my opinion but I could have used more story in this book. It was just a LOT of sex. Don’t get me wrong, I love lots of dirty sex but come on.. The naughty bits seem to go on and on.. it was drug out over several several pages. Maybe an epilogue would have been nice to. What happened to both of their restaurants? Did the food critic get smacked down for being a douche?
I liked the story line. It went at a fast pace. What made it a 3 wow, was all the sex! I think they went over board on how many times you can achieve an orgasm in one hookup. Because it was so many times in a row, I found myself fast forwarding past some of them. I am like the late, great , Bernie Mack, " what are you trying to prove. " Make it good enough to knock me out to sleep, I am good. Lol
Taste: A Bad Boy Chef Romance is a fun, sexy and entertaining romp. Nicole and Palmer generate a lot of heat and sizzle. An engaging storyline and likable characters draw you into this book. Witty banter and descriptive writing make the book amusing and involving. A great read! I am posting an honest review after reading an ARC copy of this book.
Palmer and Nicole are both chefs with different restaurants. Nicole rebuffs Palmer at first but finds him incredibly sexy. These two were smoking with sexual chemistry. Scorching sex scenes and a few misunderstandings kept me wanting to read this book. Awesome read.

A great love story full of passion! Loved both characters a lot. Just a pity that it wasn't peer reviewed properly. The grammatical errors I can live with, but messing up the main character names on more than one occasion is just a shame. Other than that it is a great read.
I also enjoy that the book is written from both points of view.
The sex scenes in this book are fantastic but unfortunately there isn't much story and it ends leaving the reading with too many questions. Do they stay together? Does he close his restaurant? What happens to her little bistro? Maybe there will be a second book to answer these questions.
Taste: A Bad Boy Chef Romance by Natalie Knight is an entertaining read. Ms. Knight has delivered a book loaded with drama, fantastic characters, humor and LOTS of sex. It is written in first person, alternating point of view format. My least favorite. But it's still a fun little book. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
There are some errors in the book, is it Nicole or Natalie? There is so many sex scenes and not enough context and content around the characters. It has a good plot line just wished there was more storyline and we got to know the characters better.
This book is a panty melting scorcher. The chemistry between Palmer and Natalie is incendiary. There are a few typos and a couple of inconsistencies. But nothing that ruined the read for me. This is a fun, steamy read that will require wine and a change of panties.
Let's see how much sex we can start out with ....then let's NOT read so about her playing with hersel!! Then, sillyme, is a story starting?...which would be nice or.....nope! Let's just over saturate the beginning with sex! So much for real wtiters!
This book was such a quick, hot read that I was finished before I even realized it. There was so much chemistry between the characters, that I felt like the pages were going to explode!
Lots of inconsistencies in this book. At one point there were 29 consecutive pages (on my iPad) of one sex scene! I like sex as much as the next person, but I need some plot to go with it. Very disappointed in this debut novel.
If you enjoy reading about a lot of descriptive sex with an abundance of f-bombs, this book is for you. It does have a very small bit of a story added in, but the majority of it is definitely about sex. It also needs editing.
