I was born in Minneapolis, MN but moved to Southern California when I was five. Luckily, my parents drove. I grew up in what is now referred to as the Inland Empire. If you've seen the movie 'Dazed and Confused' by Richard Linklater you have the finest example of my teenage years. My adult life has had no specific pattern. I've actually done a laundry list of "jobs". From laborer to insurance adjuster to lumberman to mortgage broker to stand-up comic to radio DJ to voice-over artist and about two dozen other jobs. I came to writing through writing jokes for a couple of famous comics. That led to writing spec screenplays. And that led me to writing novels and short stories when I finally got sick of "jobs". I'm a humorist by nature, so most of my writings regardless of genre have a slightly humorous bent. My first novel, The Sacrifist, is an adventure story about the hunt for a yeti that is killing climbers in the Himalaya. It is available at Amazon. I'm currently at work on a zombie novel that will be the first in a series novels detailing the change of Earth's socio-economic structure.
