Ashira Datya’s Review
Romeo and Juliet have nothing on Ripples Through Time's Nicholas and Raven. Their love began in the 1700’s, despite the differences in who they were; she is a Vampire Slayer and he is a Vampire. Their love was forbidden and despite the tragedy that befalls them, Raven is determined not to let it destroy them or their love and does the unthinkable to ensure that they stay together. Flash forward centuries later; Raven and Nicholas find each other again and have to fight a big bad evil demon to stay together.
I really, really, really loved Ripples Through Time. I was a HUGE Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan when it was on and this story reminded me so much of that hugely popular show. I went through so many different emotions reading this story, I laughed when Raven was sassy to her guardian (think Giles in BtVS) and when it looked like Raven's desire to stay with Nicholas forever wouldn't come true, I was anxious, hoping that their love would be enough to keep them together.
I give Ripples Through Time four Tea Cups and a heat score of two. Miss Stanton is a really talented author and I look forward to reading her next masterpiece.
4 Tea Cups!
