As he pushed me back on the hard wooden surface, it wasn’t how wrong this was I was thinking about. It wasn’t how I could be disbarred for this very inappropriate conduct. It was more like, “Oh, my God, he’s really talented with that wicked tongue of his.”

Little did I know the consequences of our indiscretion would bond us together forever, and not in the happily-ever-after kind of way.
We were two completely different people, and the whole opposites attract thing could only stretch so far.

This was a nice side story about how Ethan and Fiona met and their whirlwind relationship which went from hot sex to parenthood and marriage in a matter of weeks.

What can I say? It was really short - but also really erotic and adorable!
I would've loved a real full-length book about those two. And I would've loved to see the other guys again - before we met them in their own books ... but it was totally ok as a short prequel thingy. Especially since it's FREE!!! ☺

What a great idea Kim had writing this.
As a fan of Sexy Jerk series I always knew Fiona and Ethan hooked once, and they got pregnant that night. I loved thi back ground story....Fiona's a spit fire. And who knew Ethan had such a dirty mouth. I loved this book. Thanks for the gift Kim...When I say gift it's because this was an awesome treat

Very cute! I felt like this was missing a chapter or two truthfully. It just seemed like an abrupt way to end it (and yes, I know it's a novella). But a nice way to segway into the series.

Super quick backstory of how Fiona & Ethan ended up together. They are side characters from the books Sexy Jerk and Big Shot and their story has been mentioned, but reading the how in detail was hot and sweet.

Short, fast paced and easy to read. I liked that Fiona and Ethan seemed to hate one another. I liked that the sexual tension had built to undeniable.
I didn’t feel any chemistry between them but I kind of liked them together. I felt like Ethan was more invested in a relationship with Fiona. I didn’t think or feel like Fiona wanted to be in a relationship. When the whole married, new house and maternity leave was mentioned, she seemed liked she felt trapped.

I loved seeing how Ethan and Fiona got together! I only wished there was more, especially how they handled going from being lovers, to newlyweds, to parents in a short amount of time! However I will say this, even though it's a short story, it is SUPER HOT. I mean you either want to wear a panty-liner for this or just go without underwear. ;)

While I did enjoy this short story, I wanted more! There wasn't enough story to feel the love connection. I've wanted to read their story ever since Sexy Jerk. I feel a little cheated to their connection. But, it was free and I got to see a little of their beginning. So I'm glad a got something... Thanks Kim Karr for giving us this.
