Captured souls. Monstrous creatures from the ocean depths. Secret races of magicians. A threat more terrible than any before it. Magic has never been more deadly.

The immortal Count and the dark Merqueen haven't managed to claim Clara or her powers—yet. Even with their personal magic bound, they're hunting Clara with more force than she knows how to handle. They contain the magic of the hundreds of souls they've drained.

Clara has her own power, one they haven't been able to touch, a secret binding element that gives life to all magic. She's stronger than ever, with a love great enough to dismantle the Count and Merqueen's devastating illusions.

But when you love as fiercely as Clara does, you have too much to lose. If the Count and Merqueen can't have Clara, then they'll take everything—and everyone—she loves. Unless she can find the way to stop the two most feared magicians of the underworld before she loses everything worth living for.

Mermagic is the final installment in The Witching World series.

This is a very satisfying end to a wonderful series. I wanted to take my time reading this last book so I could savor every word. Much of this book was spent underwater deep in the ocean. It was very surreal. Ms Ashta has a wonderful talent with words. She knows how to reach into the depths of thought and feelings and pulls the reader in to ponder each sentence, each phrase, each paragraph. I’ve lived with these characters through six books now and gotten to know them as great friends and/or enemies. Even the animals have their own personalities which I have learned to love. One thing I can say for certain is this will not be the last book of Ms Ashta’s I will be reading. I highly recommend reading this series for all fantasy lovers everywhere. You will not be disappointed. However, if you choose not to read them then you are truly missing out.

“Captured souls. Monstrous creatures from the ocean depths. Secret races of magicians. A threat more terrible than any before it. Magic has never been more deadly.”

Ok, how could anyone possibly resist that? Trust me when I say that if the above bit from the publisher’s blurb is even remotely appealing then you will totally adore Lucia Ashta’s The Witching World series. It’s just that good. In fact, the only “bad” things about it are that you really need to read this from book 1 and it’s so highly addictive that even without cliffhangers it’s torture waiting between books. For newcomers to this (wonderfully crafted) world that’s fine as the books are all out there. For fellow addicts (as that’s what we all are with this series), welcome, with Mermagic your reward is here. This is just the book you have been waiting for. The gang is here. I don’t need to summarize things for you (though the kindle blurb does a good job) but rest assured, the threats of Winston, Count Washur, and Mirvela will have faded by book’s end and both Clara of Irele and her fiancé, Marcelo Fabiano Domenico, Lord of Bundry and Irele, will get what they deserve.

I won’t give away any clues as to how they get there, but as Clara notes “... nothing was impossible, not really.”

Very (very) highly recommended.

Yes I read this in one day. How or why is easy to explain. The book blurb gives you the backbone of the story. But the journey you share with the characters is hard to define . Yes there are monsters, dragons , witches wizards, all manner of magical and mysterious creatures. But for me the story was filled with such passion and love ( I'm not a love story person) you could not but help be caught up in the , at times desperate struggle for good to conquer evil. I NEEDED to see the end result and it was difficult not to speed read. You were there when Clara struggled to find her way, not only in life but in magic. Not bound by spells but by her heart.
For once it was a story that completed the journey and didn't leave you with a cliffhanger ending . I am grateful for that fact alone.
This has been a truly wonderful series and this book is a fitting finale . Thank you Lucia for sharing this with us.

What a wonderful series this is has been!
It is fantastically written and such a magical story.

It’s hard to describe how wonderful this book is and not give away any of the best parts. You fall in love with lady Clara and ask lewdly love Marcello is well. Mordecai and it grand mere along with lady Clara end up at the bottom of the ocean with the merpeople I’m trying to get to the evil sorcerer and the evil
Merqueen which they had to fight good versus evil.

Dan hope from unexpected sources. The magical sea creatures were an amazing introduction. But let us not forget the flyer drakes and the dragon!

The story is magical filled with fantasy and dreamy as all can be. I highly recommend everyone read not only the series but all of this authors books as there are all absolutely phenomenal!

Excitement, action and adventure not only continues in Mermagic, but is also magnified. I was completely enveloped into this book with all of it's fabulous characters. Loved ones, family and friends reunited though some were loss. Another battle won again Count Washur and Mirvela, but the war continues for light against darkness against other dark magicians out there somewhere. Mermagic is the final book in The Witching World series, but there story continues in the next. I can't wait to see what happens next. Theirs is a story that you hope to never end.
I received this book free from the author in return for a voluntary and honest review.

I was awaiting the young "Brave" the chance to see his mother, Marcelo to see his sister and for Clara the chance to meet her SIL.???? Did I miss something somewhere? I thought Count Washur consumer her spirit when he killed her!?!? Would love to know the answer! Thank you!!

This is the last book of this series and I hate saying goodbye to the characters that I have grown to love.
We follow Clare, her Grand-Mere and Mordecai as they go deep within the ocean to fight the evil merwitch Mirvela and the undead sorcerer Count Washur.
Lucia Ashta brings this series to a satisfying conclusion but that doesn't mean I have to like it. I'm just not ready to say "Good-by".
I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review

Some stories you with a Smile; This one leaves you with a Happy Heart!

I love this story so much. Novel of epic proportions. Magic, friendship, love and so well written. I could see the story unfold as I read. I love mermaids and the fact they are in this series makes me love it more.

I decided to start reading Lucia Ashta’s novels after falling in love with her PWF Series. I’m so glad I can just read through and enjoy her magical journey.

Kudos for a terrific series!

This series was amazing! I love how all the characters blended well together in each book. The message that love is stronger than anything is very clear and I love how unique Clara is with her magic. I can't wait to read the next series The Magical Arts Academy.

A fascinating end.

This is a wonderful end to Claire's story. With the last fight of the Count and Merqueen coming to an end, our hero's are getting the happily ever after they deserve. I recommend this series to all. And I thank the author for writing it.

Mermagic underwater

Claire true to go on her own to rescue Carlton and Anna so she doesn't risk her love ones life.
She goes to confront the Dark Magician who is 500 hundred years old and his Queen Mermaid who they both take per souls. The Great ending for a great series!

The last book and the first half of this book was all about Claire's musing about whether or not to kill the evil count. These books could have been combined as they were repetitive and frustrating. The last half of this book was better than the first half. Most of the loose ends were tied up.
