The fires of worship and prayer are burning in the nations! In 1000 B.C. King David led Israel into a radical reformation and spiritual revolution when he built a throne of unceasing worship and prayer right in the governmental center of the nation. Since then thousands of groups have set out to pioneer expressions of 24-7 worship and prayer. From the underground church of Northern Iraq, to the entertainment capitol of Hollywood, CA the church is crying out night and day! What is God up to? Why this emphasis on worship and prayer? Could it be that the modern worship and prayer movement is restoration of David’s Tabernacle? Enthroned Explore the heart, patterns and principles of the Tabernacle of David Delve into Biblical foundations for the night and day worship and prayer movement Discuss the role of prayer and worship for igniting revival, and bringing in the harvest Provoke you to a life long pursuit of the presence of God Give practical insight and blueprints for pioneering night and day worship and prayer. "Enthroned is a must for anyone who wants to understand what God is doing today through the vehicle of worship and intercession"--Chris DuPre, Author of The Wild Love of God. "David has mined out a treasure trove of insight and revelation. This book is important, I predict that it will be for a very long time."--Ray Hughes, Selah Ministries "David’s passion for God stems from his deep revelation of the Tabernacle of David, as a model to propel people into a lifelong pursuit of the presence of God"--Stacey Campbell, Co-author of Praying the Bible
I had high expectations for this book and they were left generally unmet. I found the spelling and punctuation errors and lack of references to what he was speaking of quite distracting. The exploration of David's government and worship and prayer were very interesting, but that was a fraction of the book. I was hoping for more, more details and stories about the 24-7 prayer movement and how it started and even so much as how you could begin where you are. I love the heart of the guy and resonate with the call to prayer, but the book I found to be high in hype and lacking in substance.
I would recommend this book for anyone leading from a regional or citywide perspective ministry. I would highly recommend this book for those who are laboring in a prayer ministry, especially those working to establish HouseofPrayer context in a city or region. This is one of the most encouraging books I’ve read in 10 years of working in the House Of Prayer. Thank you so much David!
