Preparing For Peace: “Overcoming Strife Through the Peace of the Hid-N-Life”

Rate this book
Do you ever wonder how some Christians can remain so calm amidst the most trying of circumstances? Do you feel as if no matter how hard you try or even the harder you try, the more you lose your peace? If so, you join the vast majority of Christians who with well-intentioned motives try harder but never really seem to do better. Peace in trials, tribulations, tumults and temptation continually elude them.
e solution to this problem is so very simple but yet so very complex when trying to solve it yourself. Maintaining peace in the face of di culty is all about PREPARATION! Ephesians 6:15 says to have our “...feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace”. e only part of the armor requiring advance preparation happens to be our most vulnerable appendage for advancing into enemy territory—our precious footing.
When our feet are shod, then upon the enemy we can trod! If we want to gain (and equally important maintain) peace with God, ourselves and others, we must take proper measures to prepare in advance of warfare to protect our peace. And when we do, we can be rest assured, there is little else that will glorify the Lord more than our demonstration of supernatural serenity in the face of adversity.
