NO...………..just NO!!!
I'm sorry but this book is just not for me. It is cheesy and not well written. I was really trying to do it as an audio book but its just not good & to top it off I do NOT care for the guy narrator. HIs accent is too country & he sounds old!
My vote is you just enjoy the cover and skip reading it.

I want to say first of all I received an ARC on this book for an honest opinion. Second I want to be blunt and say I've been in a reading rut for a bit and was hoping this would do it. Third the typical billionaire bad boy romance I have had my fill of.
Now I said that to say this. This book is anything but a TYPICAL billionaire bad boy romance. This author took the TYPICAL that seem to be cut and paste these days and turned it EXTRAORDINARY.
His words captivated you at the first paragraph and then left you wanting more by the end. I think the BIG difference with this book is that Sebastian didn't do anything over the top by flying Brett all over the world or trying to impress her with jewels and fancy cars or clothes. Sebastian may be a billionaire but you'd never know it.
Then you have Brett the intelligent, young, and OH so dirty minded lady that stuns you with the things she says and does throughout this book. She a country girl thru and thru and Sebastian knew it from his first run in with her she wasn't a typical woman.
I can't encourage anyone enough to go out and get this book. You will definately not be disappointed. I can honestly say I bought me a copy too.

This was an amazing book. I really loved the way the author took the book with the twisty turnie events though sometimes not so much that I really wanted to reach into the book and yell at the characters for making me frustrated.

This is going to be my FIRST finished book in July which is really sad for me but anyways, I listened to the audiobook for this book and I AM HEATED.
And not in a good way.
First off all, this book started off like any typical indie author book you can find on Amazon. Questionable writing style, a too good to be true hero who has a billion dollar net worth, and a small town girl with a sassy personality that shuts guys down with her oozing confidence but also has the self-esteem of Eeyore. And for what it was worth, I was okay with it. Because these books were made to be over the top and yes, entertaining.
But then things really started grinding my nerves and I don't know if it's me suffering an awkward reading slump or what. Let's start with how our heroine, Brett, was so frustrating. For me personally, nothing is special about her except that she's sassy to Sebastian, our hero, and she talks back. That's it! However, people call her dumb because of her blonde hair and her good looks. In return, Sebastian tells everyone and I mean fucking everyone that Brett is this fantastic and smart and talented person! WHEN IN REALITY NOTHING EVER HAPPENED TO MAKE ME THINK SHE'S DUMB NOR DID ANYTHING HAPPEN TO MAKE ME THINK SHE'S A FUCKING GENIUS. NOTHING.
I can't write a proper review for this book without making a list so here's a list of things that made me feel icky
- It randomly turned into a threesome 75% into the book so it made me go ??? or at least the idea was brought up and I didn't sign up for this??? It turned into voyeurism
- The whole premise of the book was Sebastian wanted Brett's land but that was dropped 15% of the book in when Brett started working for Sebastian's company so she can earn money to pay off her family's debt
-The family's debt was a big factor as to why she worked but it never came up ever again after it was introduced
-Brett has a sister and mother. The mother showed up for one chapter in the beginning and her sister came into the story randomly in the middle and then that's it
-Brett starts writing a really horrible romance novel in hopes of earning money LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO and it becomes this thing Sebastian and Brett write together and expose to each other's deepest darkest desires/sexual fantasies
-Did I mention how the above point, Sebastian did some freaky privacy violation, shared Brett's screen onto his screen so he could see exactly what she was writing? Yeah, that's fked up
-The writing was a bit iffy a lot of the times especially the parts where the author questioned a female's intelligence based on looks and then i realized the author was a male and it made sense
- Also, some of the sex scenes were awful LOL at least when I heard it via audiobook. It's just...no.
Okay so i know I basically ripped this book into pieces so here are some things that I liked
-It was entertaining. I could have stopped listening but I kept going because it was the only thing that kept me focused. Could be the format of how I 'read' the novel
- Sebastian is very supportive for a lover/boyfriend. He always made sure to boost Brett's confidence
- Brett took care of Sebastian's mental well-being too even though it had something to do with sex lol
- Sebastian was a family man. He can't be all that bad right if he randomly runs to his grandma and grandpa for advice and makes that awkward phone call to his father too?

I'm so glad I gave Mickey Miller and the Blackwell After Dark series a chance. Book 1 had it's challenges but I really enjoyed Boss with Benefits and it didn't seem to have any of the same cliched issues that Professor with Benefits did. Boss with Benefits made me laugh out loud. That's the first thing I would advise when reading these books. Don't go in too seriously. If you're looking for a funny, hot read you're good to go with this series.
Sebastian has more money than he'll ever need and he didn't get that way be overthinking things. He learned a long time ago to trust his instincts and they haven't let him down since. So when he interviews Brett he hires her right away. Granted she has no education and no experience in sales but she sold herself in the interview and that's all he needed to see.
Brett is having no problems at work keeping up with her work. As a matter of fact she finds herself with plenty of free time. Rather than online shop or jump on social media like her co-workers do Brett decides to write a romance novel. It's been a long time dream of hers but she just never found the time with all of life's busyness to do it. Everything is working out just fine until her boss logs into her account and sees that she is writing an erotic story about a woman that is attracted to and acting on that attraction with her boss.
Here's where the fun starts. Sebastian could call her out and fire her for what she's doing but he knows that she's doing a good job for his company so instead he chooses to have a little fun with it. He adds chapters from his point of view into her book and saves them so that she'll see them next time she logs on. This starts all kinds of playful office taboo fun.
Granted there are several parts of this book that just aren't realistic. The part where she's on doing a skype business meeting and he sneaks in only to go down on her while she's in the middle of talking to a client is not believable at all. Several holes there starting with he's a very successful business man and serious about his work. He just wouldn't risk it all to make her moan and scream while talking to a client. And boy did she moan and say crazy things during the whole scene. There were a couple more examples of this, but these little parts didn't take away from the story experience though. With the marked improvement from the first book to this one I can't wait to read the next one and see what it has to offer.

The 2 main characters were both just so annoying. They were just doing way too much of everything. The story didn’t hold my attention at all. It didn’t feel like it was executed very well. Something was just missing and I can’t put my finger on it.

Boss with Benefits by Mickey Miller is the third book in his standalone Blackwell After Dark series. This tells the story of Sebastian Blackwell, of the founding family in Blackwell, and Brett Blue. This story was steamy and sexy. The sparks were flying right off the pages!
Brett Blue is sweet, looks innocent but can be very, very dirty. Her life has not been easy. She grew up in a loving and caring family, but when her father passed away, they had money struggles. But she was determined to make it through. When Blackwell’s richest and hottest bachelor turns up at her door with an offer to buy her family’s land, she tells him off and shuts the door on his face. She decides it’s time for a change.

oh my goddddddddddddd *severe fucking eye roll* maybe it’s because i’m irritated as fuck right now and don’t know what’s irritating me but i’ve been reading this book for the last 4 days, each day hoping it picks up and gets better but the writing is just not meshing well and reading smoothly and i just can’t.
and i know it’s not me because i read like 3 other books over this in the last 4 days 😵💫

Okay, So maybe I judged the book by its cover.The book was fine but I just didn't love it.Its just that the hero, Sebastian was too successful.
The plot was good.It had a twist to the cliche arrogant boss and his PA who is a small town girl with a sassy attitude.
Brett meets Sebastian when he wants the property she is living in.But Brett is unwilling to sell it for sentimental reasons.However she is short on money and applies for a job at Sebastian's company and Brett Blue is appointed the next very next day.
They have that instant chemistry and attraction towards each other but being professionals they don't act on it.Brett has a better way of channeling her attraction towards Sebastian and that is to write an erotic novel that includes a boss and his employee.And she has a jolly time writing it until Sebastian himself finds about it.
Brett and Sebastian were made for each other, I loved their interactions and how well the plot is put together.Sebastian was swoon worthy and Brett was a total babe with all the right attitude.But my only fault in the book was that Sebastian had a little too much of everything.But I still enjoyed the book it was a great read.

Boss with Benefits was an amazing contribution to this standalone series. The Blackwell men do NOT disappoint!
Sebastian Blackwell has an aura that radiates from him. He is a self-made billionaire and little do most know that there is so much more to him than that. Boss with Benefits digs deep into the growth of Blackwell and the sexy and sassy way that Sebastian and Blue follow through with their shenanigan's. Fun and Hot! This story made me laugh and blush more times that I could count. It was so addicting that I sat out in my car, skipping lunch JUST so that I could continue on reading.
I want to take a moment:
to appreciate the soundtrack music. These "beats between the sheets" songs were PERFECT!
to squeal over the fact that whisky and ginger is my signature drink and rarely gets mentioned, yet apparently that is the drink of choice here

Evviva. finalmente una coppia di questa serie che mi piace a 360 gradi. Non cambierei nulla. Anche se molto smielato la coppia funziona! Hanno molti contrasti ma si vogliono e sono fedeli! Mi piace come alla fine lei e lui decidano di fare quella cosa a tre ma senza obbligo. Tutto è spontaneo, e tu lettore te ne rendi conto e apprezzi!
Le scene in ufficio e non sono spassose, i colleghi che cercano sempre di capire tutto o di sparlare sono molto realistici! Il capo sexy lo sognamo tutte. Insomma abbiamo forse un libro quasi pefetto!

I needed a fan, blowing full speed at my face, while I read this one!! All I can say is, HOT! Of the three books in this series to date, this is by far the hottest!

The cocky, sexy, ruthless businessman in the small town of Blackwell. While Brett our heroine is a daughter of farmer, a tomboy when she was still a teen and once work at the Pizza store that own also by Sebastia and help her before.
Few years later they meet again and Sebastian wants to bought Brett's family land to expand his business but later she refuse him and kick him out from her own house. Later on Brett needs to find a job to play the debts that they collect for her sickly father before her dies months ago. She look for a job until she decided to work at Sebastian's office at the same time she decided to write a romance novel. Yep! Writing a novel while in the office, during office hours. Soon Sebastian found out about this and it's the start of having this "benefits" kind of relationship. I love everything about this book, the hot scenes that they recreate out of their own fantasy, the exchange emails, also the hot sex! yes, the hot sex during office hours! Let's not forget that MEGA HOT SEX SCENE at the elevator! Everything is great! The ending? Makes me want to tell at mickey sometimes, that I really want to read the epilogue ASAP! lol! But Sebastian is such a sweet guy despite being the cocky, playboy businessman. Also I super love Brett she's a very cool and lovable heroine.
All I can about this book is a great read. BOOM! MICKEY MILLER DID IT AGAIN! Mickey's is one of my favorite male author ever since I read his first novel. He really did a great job on writing this third book of the series. Yep! not the typical boss-employee forbidden romance story, this is different. Coz this is one hot, funny, sexy,story that I ever read! Sebastian is so much LOVE and I love Brett!

I want to start off by saying that I have loved all of Mickey Millers books to date. However boss/employee books are ones that I usually do not read. I will say that this was one of the few ones of that genre that I did like.
I adored the character of Brett Blue. Everything about that girl made me want to high five her. She has spunk, determination, drive, and is not scared to go after what she wants. I don't know what cemented her as one of my favorite Mickey characters more her reaction to them wanting to buy her farm, going in for the interview or her "research" for her novel. I was very surprised by the character of Sabastian, he was nothing that I expected really. After being somewhat introduced to him in the last novel I was expecting a harder more ruthless character. I ended up enjoying him much more then I thought I would. I think they were the prefect counterparts for each other.
Sadly though, I found the storyline was all over the place and cluttered. There was just too much going on most of the time for me and I found myself having to go back and re read parts. There where things that got brought up but then it was like they were forgotten about , leaving to me wonder why that part had been included. The story started off a little slow but then takes off and speeds ahead only to slow towards the end. But with that being said the last few chapters where my favorite of the novel . I enjoyed the little conflict that was thrown in (though some of it seemed a little rushed though.). Oh and of course I just have to say that the steaminess is right on par with all the other Mickey novels. That part just never fails to disappoint.
I look forward to seeing what Mickey has up his sleeve for us all next as I am sure it will be something different and entertaining.

PHENOMENAL/ENTICING - An unputdownable story - a romance within a romance as a fantasy comes to life; I was stunned as well as intrigued as I turned the pages to discover what happens next. This story was definitely unexpected and I absolutely adored it. Don't be fooled there is more to the story than just sensuous heated romance which spices it up; pent-up anger, drama, powerful vivid scene descriptions, witty banter, backstories giving you a peek at what makes the characters tick, and of course there is their happy ending.
Sebastian a self-made billionaire is easy on the eyes has a rep for being a bit selfish in the town of Blackwell. Brett has had an ongoing crush on Sebastian stemming from working for him years ago. Now she finds herself working for him again. Brett is a beauty, sassy, highly intelligent and finds herself wishing she was his one and only. Writing out her fantasy is a release until he gets wind of it. What starts out as a hidden fantasy grows until someone decides to try to end the happiness the two might have....
LOVED this captivating well-written story that dazzled me and had me laughing too. The cast of characters are definitely praise-worthy; Sebastian and Brett's romance is quite real and they are truly devoted to each other. Sebastian does have a sweet side hidden in his alpha persona which is fantastic; adored Brett's sassiness too. I found this to be a most entertaining read and for those who love romance, this is a fabulous library choice. {I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy and also purchased this book.} Without reservations, I recommend this book.

I love Mickey Miller! His books always offer a little bit of sweetness with a lot of sizzle and Boss with Benefits was no different. This is my fourth book by Mickey with the first being Mechanic with Benefits and although I liked it a little more then this one, I still can't tell you that you won't enjoy Boss with Benefits Having a man write true romance is still a fairly new thing for me. Honestly? I love it!!!! The dialogue has a different tone to it and so does the character perspective. I have to wonder just how much the male characters in romance think like 'real' men?!
In Boss with Benefits, Sebastian buys the business that Brett was looking at. Needing extra money and access to a computer, Brett puts in an application to work for Sebastian. What happens after she gets caught? You'll have to read it to find out!! I am not about to spoil the book for you. This book surprised me. I honestly didn’t think I was going to like it all that much only because I’m not a huge fan of the whole boss/employee hooking up scenario. BUT this one got me good. It was such an enjoyable, fun, flirty, and dirty *wink* read. Sebastian is definitely a boss I wouldn’t mind reprimanding me for my bad office behavior. I’d be down for a wicked verbal warning and then move right on to the physical removal from the building. And into his bed. :P The. Man. Is. Corporate. Hotness. Brett and Sebastian complement each other so well. Their response to one another was always so simple and easy. Like it was on autopilot. It was effortless. Well, except for when they were getting it on. That took A LOT of physical effort. One word: Sex-fit. I LOVED the role play and how fun they made things. The ‘fire’ between them is more like a bonfire. It’s big, it’s captivating and it's super hot! Things I took away from this book: I will forever think of cucumbers when I see pleats. I need to up my squat and deadlift game to get an ‘Instagram ass’. If I ever have a hot boss I want him to ‘take inventory of me’. If possible try to find someone who accepts your ‘weirdo-ness’. And most importantly... I need to invest in more aprons. (read the book and you'll understand) I really, really, enjoyed this story. It’s definitely one of my favorites by this author. Give it a go. You’ll love it. Until then, see you later….‘dirtier'. *wink*

What a great introduction to the world of Mickey Miller! This book was a fun, fast, super sexy read.

Sebastian needs Brett’s property for a building project, but Brett refuses to sell at any price. Brett then decides she needs a job to help pay for the bills that are piling up. She applies for a job at Sebastian’s company and once she secures it, she begins secretly writing a romance novel during her downtime.
An attraction had already formed between Brett and Sebastian, but because of their working relationship neither would act on it. But once Sebastian finds out about Brett’s novel, all bets are off. It doesn’t matter that he is her boss, she will be his and he will fulfill every dirty scene in her book.
The chemistry between the two is explosive and the fantasies they play out together are hot, hot, hot! They have a great rapport and the dialogue between the two is both humorous and sweet.
Mickey did a fantastic job with this book and I look forward to reading more of his work, especially those that take place in, or have connections to Blackwell.

Wow, this book is an absolute gem that you NEED to READ! You did it again Mickey Miller!! If you like hot and steamy passion, scorching hot intimate scenes of an older man and a younger woman, then this one was well done. From the very first page, I was spellbound by these fantastically described charismatic characters that you will find yourself falling in love with. Sebastian Blackwell is so freaking SEXY! And funny in a cute way! And adorable in the hottest way!! Sebastian is a local man of Blackwell who worked hard and became a self-made billionaire who is arrogant, egotistical and when he wants something—he gets it—come hell or high water. The one thing Sebastian has done for his town is give back to them—hence Blackwell name of town. Brett Blue is sweet and innocent looking, but she can hold her own. When Brett starts working for Sebastian at his company in Blackwell, the sizzling chemistry between the Brett and Sebastian is off-the chart hot and it causes sparks that are explosive. I enjoyed reading this story because it was engaging, entertaining, scorching love scenes that burned through my iPad, and a compelling storyline. The scenes are well written, fast-paced and flow smoothly from one scene to the next. The book will pique your interest and draw you in from the beginning to the very end.

Sebastian is a local man of Blackwell who worked hard and became a self-made billionaire who is arrogant, egotistical and when he wants something—he gets it—come hell or high water. The one thing Sebastian has done for his town is give back to them—hence Blackwell name of town. Brett Blue is sweet and innocent looking, but she can hold her own. When Brett starts working for Sebastian at his company in Blackwell, the sizzling chemistry between the Brett and Sebastian is off-the chart hot and it causes sparks that are explosive. I enjoyed reading this story because it was engaging, entertaining, scorching love scenes that burned through my iPad, and a compelling storyline. The scenes are well written, fast-paced and flow smoothly from one scene to the next. The book will pique your interest and draw you in from the beginning to the very end.

Haven't we all at some time wanted to be a writer? Haven't we all wanted to be a writer of a very erotic story? Haven't we wanted to write it with our boss who stumbled upon the book that Brett was writing when she was suppose to be working?
Hmmm! This was the first book I've ever read by Mickey Miller, but I think I will end up reading more.
Sebastian Blackwell means to bring back prosperity to his home town, some love him for it some don't, but Sebastian doesn't care because he is good at what he does, making money and building the town up.
Brett on the other hand has 2 very vivid memories of Sebastian, one from when she was 16 and working in his pizza place (where she kissed him after he stood up for her to some unruly patrons and one where he tried to convince her to sell her parents property to him for a new business venture) So the good and the bad right? Well I think more good...Brett manages to get a job at Blackwell Industries and the fun begins.
When Mr. X (who is actually Sebastian) starts writing to Brett adding to her erotic novel she is writing on company time, the book get some extra spice for the fictional characters Lacy and Zane.
There is humour, hot sex and a story line that follows through. I really enjoyed it and I would probably re-read it at some time in the future. It's definitely worth your reading time.
