Mysterious dragons. Hot demons. Fierce witches. Powerful shifters. Enigmatic elves. Secret councils. Forbidden alliances. The Dragon Reign Saga is just starting.
Kate wants answers. She wants to know about the family she’s never known. She and Craig are convinced they have to return to the cursed lands to find the answers.
She finds herself with more questions that she thought she’d have as she’s torn between half-demon Craig and Forrest, son of the dragon shifters leader.
Craig’s got feelings for Kate, but he also has secrets of his own. He didn’t count on her seeing his secrets in the flesh.
Forrest’s torn between his own feelings for Kate and his allegiance to the clan.
Kate—she’s just torn.
Beware: Cliffhangers, violence can be found in this serial series of swicked action-packed fantasy, hot dragons, and fierce witches.
I love the plotline and how it's staying fast-paced. It's obvious that Kate is going to have feelings for both boys for different reasons.
I'm not sure why people think this is like Twilight. It's not. Yes, the writing is simple, but simple writing goes well with YA fantasy. Overall, I'm enjoying the series and can't wait to read the next.

So, this was okay. The story is still good, the heroine is still a fairly strong character, but the whole thing is getting a bit too "Twilight" for me. Maybe book 3 will pick up a bit in the dialogue and character development department.
What a plotline! Hooked from the beginning and I love Kate and Craig although Forrest annoys the crap out of me! Excited to read the next chapter in this great adventure story.
Wow! Its getting real good. The action keeps the story fast paced and interesting. While the characters create the mystery of their heritage. Never a dull moment. Not to mention that intriguing cliffhanger with a possibility for more excitement. Oh I can't wait!
I stopped reading after a while, I lost interest half way, especially due to the romantic triangle between the three characters... it felt too forced and this ruined the story for me. It's a pity because I enjoyed the previous book, I guess the series is aimed for a younger audience...

The 2nd book was as good as the first. They are written well and the development of the characters is great. I can’t wait to see what happens and who the characters become especially Kate.
This is a great story, well worth your time and effort to read. The main characters are believable, fun, and become more endearing with each book of the story. The plot is easily followed and my only gripe is the narratives being split up between the three main characters. It seems more complex than needed. Regardless of that fact, the story is a very good one. I highly recommend this book.
Meh. Unfortunately I got bored. Kate turns out to be some special dragon who is going to save everyone from the plague. Craig is half demon, in love with her and doing his best to help. Forrest, another dragon, also in love with kate, also trying to help but his father doesnt believe him and has every held as prisoner. sends his on off to "heal mentally" and calls in craigs dad. thats where the book ends. they also discover they all have past lives and thats what links them and i didnt like that story line- it felt forced. i have to say- it was a very abrupt ending like the author wrote the whole book as one and then cut it in pieces to make multiple books. the story dragged- there was not enough angst.
