Raised in a pack that broke all the rules, Stephen was nothing more than a pawn for an alpha who abused him. With his parents dead and his brother recently murdered, he runs, trying to escape the world that has held him captive his entire life.

As pack doctor and a well-known surgeon, Cohen has led a happy life, but there has always been something missing. He longed for the rarest gift a wolf could receive — a mate.

A wolf knows the scent of its mate.

When Cohen catches his mate's scent, he is excited, that is until he finds that there is a price on his mate's head. He'll stop at nothing to protect Stephen, taking on anyone who threatens the happiness he's found.

Stephen doesn't trust anyone. Raised to believe that outsiders are the enemy, he is torn between the pull of the mating call he has with Cohen, and the risk of losing his life. Struggling to survive, he has no choice but to push his fear aside and learn to trust again.

With the enemy coming for them, the two must work together to ensure their survival and future together.

Needs serious trigger warnings. I want to say upfront that my rating has to do with the unrelenting mention and description of repetitive rape and assault of the main character and a secondary character (who was assaulted at age 10). This was not just at the beginning of the book to introduce us to Stephen's trauma but repeated and elaborated on constantly throughout the book. There were also a number of gruesome instances conveyed such as many references to the killing and eating of Stephen's brother by his former pack. It was a shame because the romance itself was sweet. Cohen was very gentle with Stephen and patient with his fear and hesitancy about mating. The author made this delay very realistic, not only because of Stephen's former sexual abuse, but because he logically feared giving someone any (perceived) control over himself again. In addition to the romance there were some action/danger parts that were suspenseful and well done. There was not very much sex--which totally made sense. I did get a little tired of them constantly saying "I love you" back and forth to each other; I felt like some other terms of affection could have used to keep it from being so monotonous as to be irritating. I enjoyed the first book in the series and like the author's writing style so I will have no qualms about reading the next in the series. I just hope the the author modifies the book description of give the reader some idea of the trigger content.

PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

To my ratings:
A 3,5* is clicked with a 4* but in review marked as 3,5*:

5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow-Away-book like ‘Jesse's Smile’ or ‘Joey’ from Angelique Jurd, ‘Save the the kids’ series
from EM Leya, ‘Love’s Tethered Heart’ from C.L. Etta or ‘Liberty’ from Seth King),
it's like an A+

4* - very good and will be often reread and is a WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises (like most of Andrew Grey books and Davidson Kings 'Haven Hart'-series)
it's like an A

3,5* - a really good book, which will be reread a few times (most romances where you can enjoy for relaxing and during waiting times in
hospitals). I can recommend them definitively!
It's like an B+

3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader (2-3 times a year),
it's like a B

2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time-reader (I wouldn't recommend it heartily, but it was ok)
It's like a C-, D

1* - sorry, but that isn't really a book for me (too many mistakes, not nice plot, illogical, so an absolute NO-GO). It's like failure in the
whole line, dismissed, repeat the class

Had me from page one!

Story starts with one of the main characters running to escape from his own pack leader - how intriguing is that? And then the other main character is a doctor - be still my beating heart... Seriously, Ms Leya has written a well thought out wolf shifter culture that interacts daily with humans but keeps themselves hidden from the humans. Although there were parts of the story that were tough to read, the author supplied them only as necessary for the storyline so able to read over without dwelling there. FYI, there is the required HEA after a bit of turmoil. Overall, I enjoyed Found and have gone back to purchase book one of the series, Bitten; obviously they can be read out-of-order.

This was an ok book. It was well written and had a good idea but it just didn't make me feel a lot. I liked it but wouldn't want to do a re-read.

This story is about a wolf shifter whip is fleeing his abusive pack and has been taught that all shifters will kill outsiders.

Cohen is the the terrin pack doctor. He stumbled upon the scent of his mate and went to aid him. love happens but also lots of drama and threats from the old pack.

I will be reading the next book.

I still like the characters and it was a good book but it was too sweet. I don't like that we didn't get to witnesses any of the action. We sit on the sidelines throughout. Boom it's over and the bad guys are apprehended, this and t h at happened but we don't see it. We don't even get to be apart of any of the interrogations or the questioning of Stephen and Rick with Pack Authority. It was disappointing on the action level.

This series just gets better and better as it goes on. We meet to characters that are total opposite. Cohen finds his mate and is learning that his mate is running from something. The journey that Stephen goes through in his life will break your heart, but the strength that he shows to escape. This is a must read book and series, do note does have some trigger point for people in the story line

The Terrin Pass Pack series by E.M. Leya, about shifters and true mates was great. I would recommend both books in the series, BITTEN and FOUND to any one who love reading about paranormals. I really enjoyed both books, and would like to read about Bayne and Ricky story. It seems like there is something going on between those two. I hope!

Shifters

Lots of action and suspense in this second book of the series. Running from an abusive alpha and pack, Stephen is found by Cohen and the Terrin Pass Pack. What Stephen sees, he finds unbelievable after the way he was raised. Loved it and looking forward to next book.

I love when the second book of a series "builds" upon the first book! I'm hoping the next book is just as good if not better!
