The greatest threat to the future comes from the secrets of the past.

Abbey and her friends return home after their long journey west to find Holdgate threatened by both an enemy to the south and a hidden Barskall army to the east.

Lucky for Holdgate, Abbey and the crew of The Foggy Day are more than ready to defend their home.

But there’s an even greater threat to the city… one nobody sees coming.

A man with a mysterious connection to Abbey’s past has arrived, and he wants to see the stormships burn.

He’s about to learn why it’s never a good idea to mess with Abbey’s friends.

Storm Warrior is a fun, swashbuckling romp filled with twists, adventure, and plenty of banter.

Set on the foundation laid by the Kurtherian Gambit Series, Storm Warrior tells an entirely new story in the Age of Magic--and of the heroes and villains who battle for control of its destiny.

This was a good closure to the first part of the adventures, I believe it was a good book series, I think it could have been darker, but it was fun. It is a series to be entertained and put your imagination at work.

What an epic read - and I'm only half way through this series!

I've been thoroughly enjoying these first four books of this series, and I think that one of the main reasons for this, is because the storyline, and the characters filling it, are so very well thought out.

Abbey, especially, has developed so much since the beginning, when she stowed away on the ship that Dustin was made Storm Caller on. She has been put through more danger, and grief, than most people see for their entire lives but, rather than it pressing her down, every setback just made her stronger, just in the same way that her father tempered the metals that he used to make swords fit for heroes.

In his own way, Benjamin tempered Abbey all the while that she grew, and became someone that she wanted to be like, too.

So many questions I've had while reading these books, were answered in this one, especially about Abbey's dreams - and I'm so glad that I followed my reading list, now, as it had already introduced me to all of the strong characters that she had seen in them - it was great that she actually met, and helped, Rhona in this story, too!

So, I've now reached the half way mark and, as is my wont, I have looked at my reading list to see what I'll be reading next.

Sadly, it's not book five of this series, but I'm happy to say that it IS book three of The Hands of Justice series: Magic Rising by Jace Mitchell and Michael Anderle, of course!

I guess that's the beauty of reading so many related series at the same time: no matter which one is next, it'll be fun to read, and will grab me into it's pages lickety split! Lol

I started this series a while ago and then looked at the official timeline on LMBPN's website after I finished book three and realized I was reading this series before other books in the Age of Magic that took place first. I think it has been about a year or two since I read book three, but despite not having been reading this series for a while, the story held up well against my foggy memory of the past books. I think the previous books were a bit better and gave the characters more chances to shine though. This book did feature a crossover with another series though, which was cool. It also left things like there was likely going to be a book following this one, but I do not know of one. It has been a bit since it was written, at least in times of the Kurtherian universe, so I am wondering if another book will ever appear in this series or if there will be a follow up book. I sure hope so though. Despite feeling like the characters got to shine more in the previous books, I still enjoy the characters and find them to be very interesting. Regardless of what happens next with the characters, I look forward to seeing what the author comes up with next, even if it is a completely different series of books.

I have to say I loved this whole series, and am sad to say goodbye to Abbey, Dustin and Co. Whilst at first I found some of the dialogue over simplistic "we're the awesome good guys, prepare for an ass kicking" (not a direct quote!), the characters and the fast paced action just completely won me over and I found myself surrendering to a super fun adventure. At no point does this book take itself too seriously, the books are packed full of strong female leads and interesting plots, and there's a whole bunch of magic and an intricate world.

And having spent so long reading a light hearted fantasy adventure, P T Hylton ends this final instalment with a beautifully touching and quoteworthy prologue that brought unexpected tears to my eyes.

Special mention for Gabra Zackman who brings the characters to life with such style in the audio book.

Thanks P T Hylton for the ride, and look forward to hearing more from Abbey, Dustin, Sid and Co in the future!

Fastest listen in the series. This being the last book of this adventure, I was meant to savour it but I blinked and I was already half way through it and I couldn't stop. Loved every damn second of it. From book one, this series has been absolutely amazing. I'm even considering reading all the other books on the Kurtherian Universe, those that involve Abby and her crew and the others. I think I'll go for it, what do I have to lose😂😅 Thank goodness this isn't the last time I'll read about Abby and her family.
Round of applause to the authors, they did a pretty damn good job, from the new magic that somehow make sense to the characters and plot line: chef's kiss.
This series is a definite recommendation.
Also the narrator did a great job, absolute delight to my ears.

Oh no I thought there was another one

Nugget it I thought there was another one in this series.
Great books with a storyline that I couldn't put down. Loved all the books in this series. It never ceases to amaze me that the authors are able to come up with new types magic that just make sense. From storm stone and fire. Totally believable and logical in its own way
I look forward to more books in this series.

Boy, can't wait for more!

I love the Kurtherian Gambit, but really love the Age of Magic series. PT has continued to charm us with Abbey a nd her compatriots who kick but with evil and its minions. looking forward to more sharp dialog and surprise storytelling. The plot is rich and full of surprises.

That ending was emotional!

Definitely glad that this isn't the end for Abbey & co. I've loved this whole series. All the way through I was captivated by the twists and turns and this last book set the next arc up perfectly -as in, I need to know what happens next NOW!
Also completely crossover-licious! So many paths to follow from this book. Brilliant!

The best book so far!

The best part of this book was the ending; it all came together even if some people decided to go off on their own. I liked Abbey better because she wasn't as bossy as usual. I kind of wanted there to be more about Abbey's "brother". Who knows what else will happen to the storm-callers next.yet

A Must Read Series

And so it all comes to and end… Abbey, Dustin, Syd, Benjamin, Olaf and crew have faced the evil and are now setting off into the sunset, or thereabouts. It was great to witness the growth of Abbey and Dustin and can’t wait to read more about them and their adventures. Now back to the caverns and Arryn…

Warrior Queen

Well this story arc was rather intriguing and the characters were all very interesting. It was interesting to see how they changed the landscape. The next part seems to be promising.

Exciting new entry in the series

Abbey and friends meet a frightening new adversary and all seems lost. Abbey, however, is not one to let a little challenge go unanswered. Lots of action and some surprises await.

I'm not much for reviews

Really, I'm not, I clicked a link, downloaded a sample, and I'm sucked into the story line and the universe... I'm going to expand my horizons and indulge in the other authors stories, starting right now...

Loved the book. Loved all the books in the storms of magic series. Trying to decide what to read next in the Kurtherian Gambit world. So much to choose from. Wish I could find a list of books in chronological order!

Storm Warrior : Age of Magic. PT Hylton

The saga ends . Can magic be used for everyones benefit? Will it be used for Power. Conquest.? The most unlikely heroes emerge. Good over evil. A magnificent fantasy action thriller. The dilemma exists today. Enjoyed immensely!

Loved how this arc ended!

Another great read by PT Hylton!!! He did an excellent job of wrapping up all the loose ends. And then ended this arc of Abbey and her friends adventures with a encouraging and hope filled scene. Loved it!!!

Oh

Ok this one is a little far fetched. A long lost want to be bother that she has to kill. A letter that is 16 years old and doesn't answer any questions plus on a voyage that has no destination.

I lost interest once Dahlia was killed in the last book she was the main antagonist for so long that it felt this was just extra fluff to tie this to the main kurtherian time line. I'd recommend books 1-3 and ending there personally.

The characters in this series are incredible. Abby is amazing and I think she can pretty much do anything. This book shows how determined Abby can be and we learn about some things that will happen in future book in this universe.

Awesome

What a wonderful, exciting, adventurous story. As one door closes another opens and all of the strong women. It all stems from belief in one self.
