Wow!! This story was something else. This is a short, but very much so thrilling story. A story about when your love for kinks and online meeting goes wrong. It is very much so giving CSI vibes and I frikin' LOVE IT.
The ending of the book had me saying: "No, I need to know more."

WTF did I just read?!
A story that's dark, jampacked with degrading and aggressive kink, and even a bit terrifying.
And WTF is wrong with me?!
Because I loved it!!
This short Halloween Erotica is hands down, just like an episode of Criminal Minds. Complete with vivid descriptions of, let's put it plain, 'the taboo unconventional fuck'. 'The-whole-ravage-me-without-my-consent-because-that's-what-turns-me-on-sex.'
So you must proceed with caution before picking it up and CHECK TRIGGERS. Because there's a bucketful of them.
This is the story of a woman torn in between her dark kinks and a more disturbed understanding of a psycho. A woman both broken and heartbroken after her deepest darkest fantasies turned into everyone's worst nightmare.
It's less than 50 pages but damn! That push of physical and emotional limits! The woman's inner turmoil at the realisation of what could have been! And spotting those red flags she refuses to see!! Brilliant! All shades of fucked up but absolutely brilliant!
And then that end!! Oh crap!! That is probably the only reaction one can have to THAT!
And now I want to know what happens next!
Short, steamy and anything but conventional, this little kinky read is practically unputdownable.
I also loved the way the deepest darkest desires of the FMC were revealed alongside the stigma people like her face. No one should be ever placed in that position, regardless of what kinks they have. No one should be made to feel less because of that either. And this shorts story makes it crystal clear.
Kink or Kill is not a story everyone will love but it's a damn fine read.
And it gets 4.5 dark stars from me

So I love anything about serial killers and of course erotic serial killer stories sounds even better. This book is a novella and very short but it packed a lot into it. The main character has met her dream man online and he wants to fulfill all his and her darkest kinks.
I love how the author has the main character talk about how hard it was for her to speak about her kinks because often this is how people feel in real life. There is a huge stigma especially when it comes to kinks that may be a little more extreme or not what people think are “typical”.
I like how she recaps and gets lost in her thoughts of what happened so we feel it’s happening right then. I also loved how that question was asked at the end and left me thinking damn I wasn’t even thinking of that!!!
I really got into the story and would love it if there was another one that we get to see more of what happens or maybe some twists where they end up being perfect for each other! I definitely enjoyed this quick read!

This was a short dark and twisted story, I enjoyed every second of it. I have a bit of a dark mind. Make sure to read trigger warnings before reading this one if you decide to read it. I was hooked from the beginning to the end. This story was hot, scary and dark.
The author did a great job in portraying the feelings of people who have unconventional sexual kinks. How they are judged by others for what they like. Although short this story packs a lot and it's really well done !
It was my first book by Lisa and it definitely will not be my last. I really loved her writing, how engaging and addictive it was.
Although that ending was a massive cliffhanger and left me wanting more, I need more, I need to know.

It’s a short but thrilling book that gets you hooked from the title.
You can't believe everything you see online. Especially who people truly are. And our FMC had to figure that out the hard way… the extra, most painfully hard way.
This short story is heavy on the degrading and aggressive sex kink, so if that’s a turn off for you don’t read it ! It’s seems like a story straight out of a Criminal minds episode, and maybe it’s because I love shows like that, that I was so invested in the story but I was HOOKED.
Don’t want to reveal too much but no one should ever have their kink used against them or shamed for it ! Free your kinks !

Great little short read! I’m all for horror and dark and this ticked all the boxes. Please check the trigger warnings if sensitive to certain subjects. This story had me hooked from the title right to the end and then left me wants more on what happens!!

My mom and I are huge fans of true crime. We love watching all the different documentaries but we especially love the ones about serial killers. I also think it’s funny to see the shock on people’s faces when I say “I love serial killers” as an intro to any conversation involving true crime. I then clarify that I don’t really love them, just the psychology behind their actions and crimes.
This story was hot, scary, and hot WHILE scary. I am a little worried about how much I liked this story 😂 But I definitely want more after that cliffhanger! And the FMC has my name…which just adds to the horny confusion!!

A quick and steamy horror novella. When I saw the title Kink or Kill I was intrigued and had to put it in front of my other tbrs. Let me tell you I wasn't disappointed in this choice!
The author does a great job of portraying how individuals with kinks can feel as if they are being judged for what they like and how they fear that they'll get blamed if something goes wrong. In addition, the story shows that you should heed the warnings of being careful who you meet online.
My only problem is I wish this story was longer! Call me crazy but I would love to read about him finding her and what happens after. Would they end up in some crazy relationship or would she end up as the others?

Short, quick read filled with so much detail. Kinks are real, a lifestyle, but can be dangerous & this tells that side. I loved it!
This is the second book I've read of Lisa's, & she's becoming a favorite of mine. Can't wait to read more of her work!

So much happening jam packed in less than 50 pages! Without spoiling the fun, I recommend if you enjoy Criminal Minds/CSI vibes with some dark kinky spice!

Kayla met a stranger online who matched her kink needs perfectly. After months of talking online, they decided to meet in person and scene together. After the scene of her dreams, Kayla is flying high and wants to do it again. Her plans for more come crashing down when she realizes the stranger she had sex with is a serial killer and she's next on his list.
This had so much promise, but ultimately missed for me. The idea of a woman finding out the guy she likes is a serial killer is cool and it's what got me to buy the book. I liked that it was written as one long chapter that took place in the past and present. I could easily visualize the story as a show or movie.
The reason this didn't work for me is the length. I very rarely think a book should be longer, but this is one of those times. Given the nature of the story, this needed to be a bit longer. It was lacking from how we went from Kayla sleeping with the guy to realizing who he was. Some more time building out the story would've made this a higher rated book for me. Given how it ended, I'd love to see what happens next as I think there's a lot to work with.

Holy hell! This was freaking awesome! We meet the FMC at a police station as she recounts some things. No spoilers, but this has it all!! A mystery, spice, & questions that still need answers. It ends on a cliffy, but it was a quick & short read. I loved it & highly recommend this book & author!
