Raised as a Goon 3: Against All Odds by Ghost is a phenomenal read. Ghost is a historical and dangerous author. He did a amazing job.
Taurus and Juice are remind me of Cain and Abel from the Bible. Taurus is a good spiritual and Juice is a bad spirit. I wish Juice needs to get himself help and working on his mental illness.
I understand what’s princess going through but she’s a something else and crazy.

Wow, Princess and Taurus was on some Bonnie and Clyde type ish. Princess, in my opinion was more gutt-throat than Taurus. Taurus had a weakness for women, due to his childhood of what his father put his mother through, however, when it came to Princess, she didn't care if you were a woman, or man. Princess started off as a sweet girl, that was rough around the edges, but after Juice murdered her brother, she slowly tur ned into a savage. Princess was abused by her father, when she was younger, and as a young child, she thought that was love. Taurus became not only her lover, but her best friend, her confidante, her everything. She loved her daughter, and she adored, and almost worshipped Taurus. Anyone who interfered with her man, or child, you were going to be destroyed. Taurus was playing with fire, when it came to Princess, and if he kept playing with her emotions, he was going to get burned.
Juice finally received what he deserved. He had ruined so many lives, including his own. He raped his mother, murdered his sister, kidnapped his niece, murdered Tywain, and Tywain's child., and caused other unnecessary havoc. Juice didn't have any sympathy when it came to anyone. Much like his father, he was an arrogant, cold-hearted, narcissistic piece of crap, that didn't love anyone, or anything. I was a little disappointed that he wasn't cut up in tiny pieces like Princess envisioned. I wasn't on board with eating him, but torturing him would have been perfect, and even better if he would've begged for his life, and felt a little of what he had done to his victims. He was killed way to easily.
Blaze, like Princess, loved her some Taurus, but instead of being a savage like Princess, she was a business, a hustler, all about her money. Blaze wanted to upgrade Taurus to a better life, show him a different, luxurious way of living.... upgrade him, but Taurus was too in love with Princess. Sexually, he was very attracted to Blaze, she was stacked, with a body to die for, good in bed, beautiful, independent, and she wasn't afraid to spoil Taurus, but she wasn't Princess. There wasn't any limits on what Princess would do for Taurus, showing Blaze why she was number one.
Minus the incest that occurs in the book, the series have been really good, but I just can't get past it. Just when I try, there are other family members that act as if they would like to sample Taurus sexually, and that's beyond disgusting. I can't see anything that could happen to Princess or Taurus, since they've already hit rock bottom. Hopefully, in part 4, they could live a somewhat normal life, and maybe get married.... who knows?!

Modern Day Cain and Abel
Looking for something to keep you on the edge of your seat? Something that involves, envy, sex, lies, mayhem, murder and even incest? This this in the book series for you! I clearly enjoyed this roller coaster ride with both Taurus and Juice. Though Juice is a psychopath from start to finish.....i thoroughly enjoyed the contrast with Taurus as his character; which a couple of times had me struggling to choose between the lesser of two evils! Interested in finding out what those two evils are? Read the series for yourself!!!! Although I found myself needing closure concerning Nistasia, and even Blaze; I am glad that Taurus and Princess we're able to find some closure!

Really Ghost?
I’m beyond upset with the ending.....I have a strong feeling there’s going to be a part 4. I have so many unanswered questions like is Nataisa pregnant with Taurus baby? Was Hood Rich behind this movement to get Taurus to bring Nataisa? However, I enjoyed the story I just felt as though it was rushed and some of it just didn’t feel real. Why is Taurus sleeping with everyone without protection? I can understand the incest part because it may seem strange this type of behavior really exist...... I guess I have to wait for the finale but please no more Princess calling Taurus “Daddy!” Lol.....

The war is real! Taurus n Princess are up against his father and brother Juice. Taiwan locked up and their baby, Taurus mother Mary and sister have been kidnapped by the most abusive and sick men in their lives. Taurus slangin was hat “D” around and his momma? Crazy shid going on and death is knocking on the door. This is the most dysfunctional and sadistic story I think I have read! Princess is definitely a ride or die and she loves Taurus. Can he do the same? Crazy, crazy , crazy but I am soo glad I read it to the end!

Great series need more stars
Good book but seemed rushed. The killing of kids touched me so deeply that I had a restless night. This book brings to light that incest do happen and is happening right to this day. This author did a good job with this series true story or not. This book let people know that mental illness is real and a lot of it comes from our childhood and in the household we grow up in. You did a great job Ghost and I would love to meet you one day.

Let me just say that I am glad this series is over and I hope any other stories I might ready by Ghost don't revolve around these characters. There was so much incest and all in the family love that I almost had to put it down at one point. Not only was Taurus's family full of sicko's but so was Princess's. I was disturbed by this last installment to say THE LEAST, but Ghost is still a very good story teller and there wasn't a dull moment, even if I wanted to vomit during some of them.

The best!
This one was the best out of the 3. I just wanted Juice to die in a very horrific manner after he did Mary like he did, his own sister. She had her whole life ahead of her and he just wouldn't let her have it. The ending was so sweet, but it seemed like it might be a fourth, cause Rich wanted to go after the Russians. Excellent!!!!

Excellent series!
This series was a definite BANGER. Taurus endured a lot throughout this series. Being raised as a GOON he was definitely a GOON at heart. There were a few tears shed, some laughs and a lot of nail biting while reading this series. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED GHOST YOU ARE PHENOMENAL!

This series had murder, sex and mayhem and I must say I really liked it. I could have definitely done away with the incest but it really wasn't that bad. Taurus and Princess did what they had to do throughout the entire series. Juice, Gotto and KO got what they had coming to them. They recked havoc on Taurus for no reason. Overall I applaud Ghost cause this was great!!!!

First let me start off by saying I didn't like princess and never did n neither books, she just as nasty as Taurus. The whole family was sick, only one that was cool was Mary. But what happened to her wasn't her fault. I still don't like how Shakia and her son was overlooked. This book was just crazy and gross.

Story was long as ever, I skipped through most of this book.. for the life of me I couldn't stand princess she was so irritating and you didnt say R.I.P to Mary at the end. That is all.

Now that was liberating. Book 3 was by far the best. So glad thing turned out as it should.
