After almost six years of marriage, Maceo and Chrissy’s marriage could be over. Maceo has overlooked the vow of “forsaking all others”, so it’s hard for him to stay faithful. I honestly struggled to give it even a one star. Even if I ignored all of the editing issues, the fact that the author had two characters speaking in the first person in the same paragraph, and then switched to third person narration in the next sentence was not only annoying, but confusing. There were also so many inconsistencies and false statements made throughout the plot that I was baffled. If the wife called her husband and he ignored her call because he didn't want to be annoyed, how did the side chick delete the call from his call log so he wouldn't know the wife called? That's just ONE example of the same type of stuff throughout, including a statement about a medical procedure one character said she was going to have at 18 that a doctor had to talk her out of, when in reality, they wouldn't have done it no matter what at that age unless it was a life threatening reason. There would have been no talking out of it. Doctor's don't perform some procedures on women just because they want it at certain ages, and that is a fact. There will be no book 2 for me, and probably no more books from this author.

Lacks editing
Good storyline but needs editing. Author can't decide between 1st person or 3rd person, sometimes in the same sentence. I'll read part 2 because I've already downloaded it and due to the cliffhanger. The story is engaging but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it.

First time reader
This was a good book. I really enjoyed it. Christy was a gangsta in all her rights. She had her secrets so did her husband but he knew what he was doing messing with her sister and that wasn't even right. I like the fact she finally told her backstreet about how she was rated but Maceo shouldn't of left her. I highly recommend this book because it had alot of drama. (Boy do we know how to put out some drama for that ass). Go read Scandalous Affairs by Lady Legacy.

Family ain’t always Family
This book had a decent plot but it was not well written. There were too many grammatical errors for it to truly be enjoyable. I know every author doesn’t use elaborate words but this could have used better editing that included improving the wording. It honestly has potential. I read to the end because I had to know how Chrissy was going to handle Lexi and Maceo. I gave it 3 stars instead of 1 or 2 for the potential.

Wow!!
Omg what a good start! I can’t wait to read the next book. Who was shot? Lexi deserves to be nailed to the cross for what she did to Crissy. Maceo needs to catch his karma despite what crissy kept from him. She had good reason. This book was drama from the very beginning and I can’t wait to get into the next part

Betrayal at its finest!!
Nobody lied when said the ones closest to caused the most pain. Maceo and Crissy where holding secrets, but some hurt more the others. Lexi was a jealous/shady vindictive person but what did she gain. Mario was wrong on all levels, can’t see this plays out. Please let a man that’s ready to build with her and heal her.

Chrissy’s secret should not have been a secret. The revelation of the villainous acts of teenage Lexi should have been known to teenage Chrissy not over a decade after the fact. Why watch your brother have sex? You so broken up and have the means to hire a detective, Girl bye. This another book that has been sliced into volumes for an author’s profit.

Man, This book was drama filled from the 1st page. Dang, Nobody in the story could catch a break. I definitely felt bad for Chrissy, especially after all the stuff she had been through. I have no other choice but to read the next book because this cliffhanger has me in a chokehold.

Boy boy boy!!! The drama in this hook is EVERYTHING!!! It all popped off right from the beginning and didn't stop till the last page. Where's book 2 because I gotta finish this hot mess.! Lol I hope Lexi pays for what she's done.

It was a good book. But I feel that the author could made one book by put 1&2 together to make a full book. But Lexi got what she deserved maceo had a good wife at home but dirty to sleep with the wife sister for 2 years. The ending was a cliffhanger need to find out about Lexi husband.
