Part 2 of a series, this continues the story of Max and Chad, who are trying to make it in the marijuana business in 1990's California. Max has bought a piece of land in Peru, for some heavy duty growing of weed. The land has suddenly become very valuable, so powerful people, with the help of the Peruvian Government, are doing their best to steal it from him. Max and Chad are back in California to sell some of their weed supply, to help pay the legal bills.

This was the time when medical marijuana was legal in California, so everyone was growing their own. This led to a huge drop in price for people like Chad. Evidently, driving all over central California to sell several pounds of weed to dispensaries is not something to be done alone, or sober. Jorge, a friend and fellow total drug addict, is up for a road trip. Armed with huge amounts of drugs and alcohol (for them), they are off.

Along the way, there is a home-made porno film (done in a casino hotel room), there are several instances of Chad passing out (from way too much drugs and alcohol in his system at the same time), and Chad gets a chest-sized tattoo that includes a Care Bear taking a Xanax. What happens with Max's court case in Peru? Is there a Part 3 to the series? (spoiler alert: Yes)

As with the first book, this is certainly not a boring book. It will very much keep the attention of the reader. Some might have a hard time with the insane amounts of drugs and alcohol that are consumed in this story. Get past that, and there is lots of good writing, and this book is very much recommended.

While it might seem like it's going nowhere, the stories in this book just keep on shifting from one adventure to the other. Craziness, drugs and the weird antics of a guy trying to quit and finish a grow in Cali so he can leave everything for good and start a new life in the middle of the Peruvian jungle. It's certainly a wild ride that pulls you in and suddenly you are part of the madness. Chad Vegas sure has some entertaining stories up his sleeves!

Honestly, the saga is very good, kept me at all times with a mystery and an intrigue of what will happen, I love the plot of books like that, and above all, the love and complications of this. On the other hand, it shows the reality of the corruption that is experienced in the countries of Latin America. Some problems in repetitive descriptions but in itself the book is much better than the previous one. I certify

This second part, honestly, accommodated repetitive grammatical errors a bit. And regarding the story is very good, because it keeps you very entertained and makes you immerse more and more in Chad's character, in this book I felt more attracted to the saga and to capture 100% all the problems so far passing the character and feel different emotions.
I RECOMMEND IT.

In this second part, honestly, the author accommodated a bit the editorial part, but still has flaws.

the book is quite distracting because the plot is not bad and as the first, more corruption, more problems and love problems.

I hope to read the next book because the saga is very good, I recommend this book for all that public that likes the plot of drugs and corruption of countries

Perfect way to continue with the history. Excellent book, the author did a great job, the continuation of the great history of Max and Chad facing the corrupt Peruvian government for their land, better writing than in Sex, drugs & corruption also.

I was happy to see that the writing improved a little, this second part it's nice from the start and it gets better and better as long you read, I devoured this book in like 3 days, is very captivating and full of dangers story. Love it.

Adult content throughout. Still interesting story. Believable characters and setting information. Lots of action and adventure. Helpful "road to recovery" storyline developing. Congratulations.

As a sequel to Sex, drugs & corruption is excellent, I enjoyed the first part but this undoubtedly adds more emotion to the saga is a must read if you love the plot of drug trafficking and corruption.

Chad and max are still insisting on their lands that were confiscated by the corrupt government of Peru, they do not stop and that is what I like the most, that they will fight until the end to recover them, including entering the business of medical marijuana to capitalize. Honestly the book has me excited, between the adrenaline of action, sex, drugs. The only thing as in the previous case is that it has errors of narration and repetition but the book and the story is very good and exciting.

Like all saga, this is the continuation of Chad and his insistence on not wanting to be robbed of his property by the corrupt government of Peru, so he will go to the USA to make some arrangements and everything becomes very interesting, the drugs, the Love and sex are never lacking in history, excellent and with fewer errors of narration.
Excellent book, it leaves you wanting to read more about the story
