October 24, 2017DNF...there is a difference between feisty and psycho, and this heroine was full on psycho IMO. She seriously has gone off on every person she has spoken to so far. Who does that? A crazy person that's who. Dude should run for his life...*lol*
SIDE NOTE: It's REALLY unattractive for men to call OW "HOs" I get they are club girls and all, but try and have a little respect for them and use their NAMES instead of "the HO did this" and "the HO said that" They ARE human beings after all and you like them enough to stick your dick in them.

IT'S LIVE!
**ARC RECEIVED IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVIEW **
I have to admit, I love the premise of this series. Bikers, who once they meet their girls. are completely devoted to only them. I love that instalove, complete devotion. It even ran off some of the club "hos". Once they saw two of the men fall hard(Corban and Xerox), they knew there was no hope for them to become ol' ladies. Two hung on but caused zero problems in the story thank goodness (although im still trying to brain bleach Quill and Beecher's antics from book 1)
Xerox- loved him. Complete devotion from the MC President. He saw Maci, knew she was his and took steps to make it a reality. He took her brothers under his wing, alleviating stress from her life. He was tough and loyal.
Maci- she was a kick ass heroine. She had taken on the responsibility of her 4 younger brothers at a very young age. She acted tougher than she really was and I was happy when she finally gave in and leaned on Xerox.

-club violence
-some pushing away from heroine at first

Great read second time around. Love this series. It's better if you read Corban first. Little om drama in the form of someone who wants the h. Love when a story keeps me smiling most of the way through!

Xerox was the first book in the Wicked Throttle MC series by Esther Schmidt. The series revolved around the legend that Wicked Throttle MC Members fall in love at first sight. “A Wicked Throttle Heart only connects once and it beats solely for that woman.”
Xerox was the President of the MC. He was the typical gorgeous alpha. And when he fell, he fell hard. Maci Meyer was the older sister to four boys that she was raising and tried to keep on the straight and narrow; however, a drug lord who wanted Maci had other ideas. They met. They connected and the rest was history.
Xerox was told with a dual POV. I love strong, independent women and protective alpha men and Xerox didn’t disappoint. The storyline was a bit over the top but I loved it. It made it intriguing and somewhat light hearted.
I also liked the suspenseful part of the storyline. It was a little confusing at times and I’m still not sure who remained from the rival gang; however, I expect the theme to continue in the next books in the series.
All I all, it was enjoyable, entertaining and well written. We got glimpses of Barlow’s fall but we now get his full story next in Barlow. Additionally, I need to backtrack for the prequel novella, Corban. After that, I can’t wait to see what Schmidt brings us next.

Let's start with.... FUCK!!! She did it again. Yeah, the ending thing. I needed the next book already somewhere midway in this story and by the end... Yeah, now I'm crazed because I need to wait for it. DAMN!!! I think we should nickname Esther as the Tormentor. Lol I bet she guffaw every time when she writes 'The End', anticipating our reactions.
And talking about this book... I honestly loved chemistry between Xerox and Maci. Damn, that was making my panties wet. Yup, its warning for you before starting to read. It was that scorching. I really love the freakn Wicked Throttle legend. Insta lovers will love it too.
One of the things I love Esthers books for, is because her h never disappoints me. And Maci isn't different. That girl is loyal, loving and kickass. A perfect ol lady material for a Prez. Yes, Yes, the 'legend' is real when it comes down to the way the men of Wicked Throttle MC finds their mates. One look is all it takes and even more intriguing that look or spark holds for the women as well (although they try to fight it)!

"A few weeks ago I would have laughed it off, all that love at first sight shit, but then I watched it happen to my VP, Corban. All this time I thought the legend was bullshit. Until I saw her. Maci. It was as if I could see and feel the bolt of electricity that sparked between us. Like we connected at first sight on a whole different level. There’s no way around the righteousness that flows through my veins when I’m near her, and yet…I’m not ready to surrender." - Xerox
This was Xerox and Maci's (Captain Cookie) sexy but action-packed story. It was inspiring how Xerox was able to take care of Maci's four younger brothers, Michael, Morgan, Maximus and Marcus when Maci had all but given up when the town's drug dealer wanted to get them involved in that dangerous lifestyle. Loved Xerox's possessiveness and protector's instinct when it came to feisty and loyal heroine, Maci and how the gifted Esther E. Schmidt gave this growly but creative Prez. of Wicked Throttle MC an artistic side. Usually in the MC stories I've read, the clubs either owned a bar, gym, strip joint or even mechanic shop but Xerox was an artist involved in his art world and even exhibiting his work in town. I really liked that angle and how when he met Maci, she became his muse so to speak! Now, I know that really need to read Corban and Maud's story also just to see how far these art exhibits got started and see who else is artistic besides Barlow and Marcus, a prospect and Maci's youngest brother.
Can't wait on Barlow's story because in his story he already seemed taken with the DEA agent Tracy! Honestly, Xerox was clever when trying to put them together because Barlow mentioned early on that was scared of committing to one woman from the very start!

Legend has it that the members of the Wicked Throttle MC know the one when they see her, when they fall they fall hard. Xerox has been fighting the need to claim Maci as his own. The hellion who has a wicked punch is bound and determined to keep her brothers on the straight and narrow. When Xerox intervenes with his MC he makes a promise to Maci, but Xerox knows he needs to gain Maci's trust along with her heart. With a drug dealer who thinks Maci is his creating havoc around them, can he make good on the promises he made with himself.
I was eager to see how Maci and Xerox's story would unfold and this did not disappoint. Maci is a swirl of energy and has quite the temper, like how she handled the MC. Xerox is a fantastic character he is pure alpha male which makes him an instant favorite for me. Terrific new MC series you need to pick up.

Pretty fast pace and little steam.
Xerox has had his eye on Maci for awhile and now that her brothers are being more wild and getting into more trouble he's stepping in and taking control, and also claiming Maci for his own. But lord Maci was kinda hard to enjoy she was very Alphaish and did get on my nerves and wasnt feeling Maci for the way she kinda gave up her younger brothers because they were to wild.. as a sibling an older one thats messed up to me. Glad she sorta changed during the story but it still left a sour taste in my mouth. The banter and tension between Maci and X was good.
I wanna see how Tracy and her biker are.
Low angst, No ow drama slight om drama, no cheating, Drama, slight secondary charas, sexy times, no virgins

I have been waiting on Xerox. Maci is one hell of a spit fire. And a perfect match for Xerox. Her brothers make life interesting. This twists that come in this book even surprised me. But the loyalty of the guys of Wicked Throttle is awesome. No matter what they protect family. I love this book but that is no surprise Esther has the talent that keeps each book interesting and readers wanting more.

I have been dying for this book! And was definitely not dissapointed. We met Xerox and Maci in Corbin's book. She was a little bad#ss and I couldn't wait to see her paired up with this tough biker. I knew it would good!
I loved him! I loved her! I loved them! but what I loved the most was how he took to her brothers. Not only was this an insta-love story it was an insta-family story!
In true Esther fashion she leaves us dying for the next one!!!!

Esther Schmidt gives you the most delicious alpha men ever! Zerox is one top alpha being the president of the MC. He makes decisions and sticks with them. Trying to help Maci out with her handful of brothers, times four, he can't help but be drawn to her.
Maci has a big backbone when it comes to her brothers and herself. She doesn't quite know what to make of Zerox stepping in. She quickly realized he could be a shoulder to learn on.
Frustrating tensions build up the relationship. It's a good MC novel and a definite must read for a hot alpha!

absolutely loved it. great characters, good storyline, super hot steamy sex scenes and i really love the way the whole of Maci's family has been brought into the fold. another interesting male lead and a strong sexy sassy female lead. once again insta love which is part of the storyline so it works well. can't wait for Barlow's book.

No! Just no! I really wanted to like this book because I was okay with Corban's story. I felt like we was going to go places.
The writing is a bit amateur. I was okay with the idea that this MC had a legend that he dudes would all fall for their love when they see her. Bam! So they claim them Old Lady style immediately. Not a hug, kiss or anything and these women are Old Ladies. What makes it even worst is that every turn it is mentioned.
I started out disliking Maci but after a while her and her crazy ass grew on me. Xerox was okay but the men reminded me of the women.
The overall plot was a bit messy and it had potential because there was something to work with. However, when Xerox was so friendly with the DEA agent, I knew damn well this book was not going to work. He was weary about Nero and his involvement with the DEA on one hand. But because he was infactuated with Maci, he meets with them and was inviting the agent back to club house? What Pres does that? Plus the interaction with them in front of the agent.
Them more stuff happens and there is more mention of the legend. Another MC whose book I am sure is next, bugs out after meeting his woman for one minute.
One last thing...how the hell did the bad guy enter their compound without them seeing him immediately? Nuff said.
The only reason I stuck with this mess was because I needed it for my biker challenge.

When I want perfect books, Esther is one of my go to authors and this one does not disappoint.
Love, lust, sexual chemistry at first sight hits all these MC guys, when they least expect it. This story is action packed, and X is full of metal, if you know what I mean...

Hot, spicy, family of brotherhood

If ever there was a legend that was possible to come true in real life, I would want it to be the one in this book for this MC. Feelings hit these men and their women fast and hard with such an undeniable fierceness that you have to do a double take to make sure what you have read is actually what you have read. This storyline is well written and fierce in its portrayal of loyalty, love, lust and honor. The characters are well developed and so hot that you want to know what planet they live on and buy a one way ticket just to be able to be in their presence and look upon their beauty, not to mention latching on to one of them yourself before they are all taken. Because once they are taken, no one stands a chance, and no one better threaten what is theirs! Such is the storyline in this book that surrounds Xerox and Maci along with her four younger brothers who are a handful for the young beauty who has been doing her best to raise her orphaned brothers all on her own. Maci is a beauty, there is no denying that fact, but she is also a fighter, tough as nails, strong and independent. She is fierce in her protection of her brothers, even if they were in the wrong and will; and has, punched someone...namely Xerox. With that one punch which closed his eye, he knew she was the one and that the legend was in fact true. She was to be his. But there are problems to solve and four little brothers to pull from the streets and protect, along with keeping Maci safe as well.
Bringing them all into the club seems like the perfect solution, pairing each boy with one of the brothers; taking the oldest upon himself...along with his spitfire of a sister. The boys now have something that they haven't really had before; family and Maci now has something she hasn't had before; weight lifted from her shoulders. Knowing that her brothers are safe and away from that sleaze Nero, Maci can breath a little freer now....or can she.
This is a great, fast paced read that will draw you in from the beginning and not let up until you turn the key off. Hot, exciting, intriguing and really quite entertaining, I highly recommend this book. So get it, sit back, take your time and enjoy the ride!

I actually felt out of breath by the time I finished reading this, I started at 8.30pm and finished it at 11.45pm, there's was just no way I could put it down. Its fast paced and edgy. The sparks just fly off the page with these two characters. Maci has spent the last few years shouldering responsibility for her younger brothers, tired and at the end of her tether with them getting into trouble she has agreed to let the bikers from Wicked Throttle take over. But there are still issues with another biker club that means she needs protection as well.
Xerox is more than happy to help with her brothers and protect her as well, he loves that she is feisty and not afraid to hit out. There is no let up in this story the problems just keep coming at them one after the other, its action all the way. Its hot and sexy, but there is a deep respect and love between the bikers and their women. Maci and her brothers are accepted without hesitation. It isn't all love and lightness there are threats and danger coming in all directions. There is a sadness that barely has time to register amongst everything else going on. I am already impatient now for the next book, this author writes stories that always hook me, captivate me and leave me wanting more. The words just fail me to praise this enough, it got my heart racing and even left my mouth dry. As for the cover, being able to picture Chase Ketron as Xerox was the icing on the cake. WOW! just WOW!
Xerox is more than happy to help with her brothers and protect her as well, he loves that she is feisty and not afraid to hit out. There is no let up in this story the problems just keep coming at them one after the other, its action all the way. Its hot and sexy, but there is a deep respect and love between the bikers and their women. Maci and her brothers are accepted without hesitation. It isn't all love and lightness there are threats and danger coming in all directions. There is a sadness that barely has time to register amongst everything else going on. I am already impatient now for the next book, this author writes stories that always hook me, captivate me and leave me wanting more. I loved it, it was Hot, Sexy, Hilarious and had some danger to it too, but all in all a Awesome Read
Maci has been taking care of her brothers since her parents died, but lately its seems like everything is just getting to much. Especially now that it seems like they are in danger. And then in steps Xerox, and seriously how can she be Hot for this 'baboon'...
Xerox has been intrigued with this women since she gave him a black eye, (lmao) and seems like now she is just going to be a more of a pain in the ass for him. But then the 'legend' strikes again and he knows that she is the only one for him.
I loved this story, it was freaking hilarious at time, and then other times it was sweet and freakingly HOT! The chemistry between Xerox and Maci was off the freaking charts. And Damn Xerox
This author's books is always a ride for me, cause seriously you never know what you are in for.
I can't wait to read Barlow's story....

WOW...just AMAZING but then again all her books are! I was gifted an ARC copy of Xerox and read it all in one night. I couldn't put it down once I started reading his and Maci's book. From the beginning these two were perfect for each other. I loved the banter the two of them had with each other and the nicknames, Baboon and Caption or Caption Cookie haha. Esther did a great job portraying Maci as a strong woman but also showed her being vulnerable and needing help with all the stress she had in her life, which is where Xerox showed her he was the man to take away all of it away. The scene with her, the club members, and the hos was hysterical and setting that rule up to which they all followed haha. I loved how we not only got to see the romance between Xerox and Maci but we saw how much he cared for her brothers. It showed how much family is important to this Club and how everyone stepped in to help Maci's brother feel part of the club. It was great seeing how they became the ones looking out for Maci.
I can't wait for Barlow's story especially with the way Xerox ended!!!

Wow! I loved this book. Esther E. Schmidt is a Fantastic Author. She never disappoints. Xerox is a fabulous start to this series. The book has a great story plot. Loved the characters. I could not put this book down. It kept me on the edge of my seat. I give the story 5 Stars but it deserves more. Xerox and Maci are a perfect match. They have an instant connection that's intense and powerful. Xerox is strong, sexy, possessive and protective. Maci is smart, beautiful, sweet, sassy, loyal and fierce. Xerox and Maci are just perfect together. The chemistry between them is sizzling hot. This is a excellent story. I really enjoyed this book. I highly recommend reading it. Thank you, Esther E. Xerox & Maci AKA "Captain Cookie"(I love this nick name) create fireworks from the start. Along with their instant chemistry throw in a whole lot of action and you have another great story from Esther Schmidt. Maci is feisty, protective and strong. She is everything Xerox needs and more. Xerox, is alpha to the core. He knows Maci is it and takes on not only her problems, but those of her four brothers. The five of them are all folded into the Wicked Throttle family. What a family it is there is so much love and loyalty. As always Esther does a fantastic job of setting up the next book in the series. I am left wanting more and can't wait to get my hands on Barlow's story. Thanks so much Esther!

I love her kind of writing - fast paced, no fuss, full of life .
I especially love that not only her men are alpha-males but her heroines, in this case Maci, are equals not to ever be underestimated.

So, yea........ THIS book!!! I have been eagerly awaiting this book and let's just say Esther NEVER disappoints me. Xerox and Maci are quite a pair. They just fit and the relationship is hot from the beginning. The ending though!!! It makes me want the next one ASAP! I can't wait to read Barlows story. This is another great series from a superb author. Don't miss out, read it today!!!

I love MC romances, especially the ones that keep the focus on the main couple. They still have aspects of the MC life but the main couple do are the stars. Zerox is the president of the Wicked Throttle MC. In the prequel Corban, we met Maci who has been raising her four brothers on her own. They have fallen in with a bad crowd and this caught the attention of the MC. When Zerox goes to find out what the situation is, he spots Maci and that is all it takes. Maci feels an intense attraction to the hot Prez with one brown eye and one blue. He knows she is the one but can he convince her to let him in and help her shoulder the load and all he wants in return is her by his side?
I freaking loved this couple! Maci is a scrapper, she isn't going down without a fight. She is so strong and yet the responsibilities she has carried for so long are dragging her down. Zerox loves that she is a fighter, he doesn't want to change that. He finds everything about her sexy and desirable. He starts building the partnership between them from the start. She doesn't fight him, much, as she sees clearly that he wants to help her, not control her. I finished this in record time and am now completely addicted to Ms Schmidt's writing style. Cannot wait to dive into the next one!

The story is very great. The heroine is sassy and strong woman! She raise 4 brothers which makes the story more interesting to read! She wants the hero too but too stubborn because of what she’s been through in her past life.
The hero is the president of this MC but the MC itself is very cool i think. It doesn’t have annoying scene like groupies coming or anything like that you know, but it shows how much how strong and badass they are. The whole MC really respects the heroine because again like i said, she’s very sassy and strong as well. She doesn’t hold back to anyone and KNOWS HOW TO FIGHT! Like literally. The MC crew really listen to her and she really blends all right in to them, she immediately start to tell this and that (in a good way, not in a boss annoying way).
Their love story is very hot and sweet! The smut scene was amazing i think.
