Natasha and Skylar are sisters...and witches. They are hellbent on gaining as much power as they possibly can. Nothing, including the two men hunting them, will stand in their way.
Logan Archer and Chase Jamison have been hunting the Bodrova sisters for quite some time. Their hunt is about to heat up in ways they could never imagine.
Who will win the power struggle in this dark, erotic fantasy?
Loved the vibe of the book. Loved the characters and how they worked so well together. Definitely not lollipop and rainbows but that is what made it so much better.
This book was so bad. I dont even know where to start. The best part of the book was the prologue and it just being over. I have never had a problem with paranormal books but wth???? Just stupid, made no sense at all. I actually won this book and I am glad I did not actually pay for it.
they are sisters and they want as much power as they get. they are being chased by 2 hunters who have been after them for such a long time.what will happen when they are finally all in the same place? will this end in a very different way than they all expect? dark and magical

I did this as a buddy read and it was a pretty good read. The characters were interesting and the plot was unique however it did have some times where it was confusing or it felt like there were gaps that made me feel like I was missing something but overall the book was good.
Not for Me I was excited to read this dark romance about witches and the men hunting them, but could quickly tell it was just not for me. I gave it til 20% with an open mind but was ready to did-not-finish it by that point. Because I'd promised a review, I jumped ahead by bits and pieces and skimmed the rest of the book, and it didn't get any better.
There's a complex, magical world in Spellcasters but it's not developed and handled thoroughly. Instead the story jumps from character to character, narrated in third person. Big events happen and are described in just a few sentences and it's on to the next thing. I understand that magic is *magical* but there was little rhyme or reason to what could be done easily and what was for some reason a lot of work.
Finally, for a book labeled as erotica, the romance is actually really tame and omits a lot. There's also a fixation with blood that I did not enjoy (and I can get behind vampire romances-I just didn't like the particular handling in this novel).
I was ultimately unimpressed with both the magic elements and the romance elements and will definitely not continue this series.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Logan and Skylar meet when they are young. Logan has been at the group home, a case that no one wants because of his anger issues. He knows what it’s like to not be wanted. Skylar is new and doesn’t want to engage with anyone. All she wants is to be left alone. Logan sees her and knows how it goes, but decides that he’s going to befriend this young girl. They grow to care for each other, but he phases out of the system when he comes of age. When she comes of age Skylar moves in with him. But then Skylar joins up with her sister Natasha who was sent away. The sisters are up to no good and Logan and his partner Chase are on the prowl to find the two women and stop them. It won’t be easy, despite the fact that the two women are leaving a string of bodies in their wake. They have an agenda, and it’s a dark and sinister one. Things will get intense as the lines become clouded as to which side each of the men stands on. Skylar will learn some disturbing truths about her sister that will endanger the entire world. Spellcasters by Kitka Buchanan and K. Ries is a paranormal novel full of twists and turns. This is the first book that I have read by these authors. Spellcasters have a lot of potentials and have engaging moments throughout the story. Skylar shows potential at the beginning of the story, to become a successful writer. Somewhere things shift for her and she leaves Logan and goes off to find and join up with her sister Natasha. The authors let us know that Logan still cares for Skylar, but that something happened to drive them apart. Natasha is an interesting character as well. She’s dark and twisted. The authors give us an interesting twist about her in the story, which I really like. The story holds a lot of promise, but for me, it falls short. When I first saw the cover of this book and read the blurb, I was excited to read it. As I read the story though I felt disappointment in how it is done. The story had so much potential and I feel that the authors missed the mark with this storyline. The story doesn’t flow. It jumps around too much. One minute the story is focusing on Logan and Skylar, and then it jumps to Chase and Natasha. If you’re not zeroed in focused then you won’t fully catch the shift. I know that there were moments of where I had to figure out who was with whom. I’m disappointed that the authors don’t give us the backstory on what happened for Skylar to leave Logan and go off to find and be with her sister. The story just plows forward. There are a lot of sex scenes in this story, but I don’t get the connection between Chase and Natasha. Chase and Logan are hunters. But what kind of hunters are they? What makes Chase decide to sleep with Natasha? What makes him keep coming back to her despite the blood magic holding him to her the first time no longer be using? He’s supposed to be stopping her from the destruction that she is leaving in her wake. There are a lot of questions that this story creates, but none of them get answered. Natasha wants chaos and destruction, but then she goes against her sister to please Chase. Why? None of this makes sense. I really wanted to like this book, but it just doesn’t come together like I would have liked it too. I think that if the authors had given us some backstory at the beginning of the story that it would have helped to set the stage, and really developed the story into something engaging. For these reasons, I am rating this book 3 out of 5 stars. This book has a lot of potentials, but I just feel that right now it falls woefully short. This is truly disappointing because I feel that this book could be a truly interesting novel, with some fleshing out in certain areas and explanations in others. I hope that these two authors will continue to write and improve their craft. I hope to read another book by them in the future to see how they continue to grow and develop. This managed to capture my attention by playing to my dark side. Dark Erotica at its best that twists historical fiction with fantasy and paranormal fiction. Two witches wanting to amass power so great, no one can stand in their way. Two hunters hell bent on capturing and stopping them for good. But when they meet, it may not go according to anyone's plan. This was hot, dark, and weird, all at the same time. I enjoyed it very much.

I really enjoyed this book. I wasn't expecting anything that happened to happen. The whole book had me anticipating Natasha and Sky's next move. The end left me wanting the next book.
I loved all the characters. I don't want to give anything away so I'll just say read it. I was not disappointed.
Five stars for action from the first page to the last. Skylar & Natasha are sisters .Wicked witch sisters. Their powers & loyalty to each other are tested when love complicates their lives. Chase & Logan are pulled into their world & try to keep the power of love alive. Will they succeed?
This book is the first from this author and I loved it. The storyline and characters are well written and you are drawn into the story from the beginning and you do not want to put it down until the end.

Holy crap batman! This book was crazy good! From all the crazy good! So much happens that I can't even wrap my head around. First time I've read from these authors and it most certainly won't be the last! Can't wait to read more!
I enjoyed the book, despite the fact that it's much darker than I normally read. It's well written, good dialog, with lots of action and dark steamy romance.
First let me state, I received an Advance Reader Copy, (ARC), but this in no way influences my review. I always leave an honest review. Also, this author is new to me, and I hope not for long.
Holy shiznet!!! This is one freaky story. Skylar met Logan (in kinda an orphanage), and they grew very close, fell in love, & were planning to marry. Everything went to garbage when Skylar's sister, Natasha, comes back into her life. This story has so many twists. I recommend this read. 5 Thumbs up.
