I joined a Presbyterian church a couple of years ago. I've never belonged to a church before, having had parents who insisted that we were Christian, but didn't set foot in church. I really love my church, but as other people mentioned that they were Baptist or Methodist before, I realized that I have no idea about what makes Presbyterians different. I figured out we have pastors, instead of ministers or priests, and that we have elders and deacons, but not much else.
I liked this book from a theological standpoint, but am still left wondering what makes Presbyterians different from other Christians. Also, it started out very strong, but the focus seems to have faded toward the end. Either that, or mine did, as I have fewer notations in the margins.
