The Dawn of Man #2

Chamber of Bears

Rate this book
United with Ronan and Enwan, Peta is surrounded by the beauty that is the green valley, the trio happily preparing for the arrival of a baby. While she forages, three hunters kidnap Peta, intending on handing her over to their leader, a man by the name of Greggor. Upset by this prospect—Greggor being responsible for so much heartache—Peta secures her freedom, intending on returning to Ronan. Through a series of misfortunes and unexpected reunions, Peta faces a shocking dilemma, which will lead her directly to the chamber of bears, where the nightmare of her childhood awaits. Now she must find Greggor, the man having taken her son. But Lord Greggor will not acquiesce so easily to the demands of a stranger—even one as compelling as the angry beauty before him, the one with the murderous gleam in her eye.

Riveting Story, action-packed, fast-paced, keeps your interest.

Beautifully written. Filled with griping action and suspense, it keeps your attention and keeps you turning the pages to see what happens next. Strong characters and unexpected turns and twists keep you intrigued. Strong story of human survival in the harsh world of the past. I LOVED IT. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

Many twists and turns

I love the surprises in the books. Although frustrating just when all is going well!! The storytelling keeps your interest for sure. I wish this gave a geographical location you can't have it all I guess. Eager to read the next book now! Enjoy.

This book was great until the part where she didn't want to return any longer. But then all that changed.
