I've read a series with a twist like this and still enjoyed this one.

The story is about Bishop, Remy and Anabella.

She's the Governor's daughter and the heiress to Dupuis Steel Fortune but she doesn't want to be a part of the family and she wants out.

Bishop and Remy are out for revenge to her father. They planned for months and it's time to get what they want.

She goes to a halloween party and it doesn't take long when two men show up to take her upstairs to have her.

I liked the story but there's no epilogue and I need one.

Reader note on why I'm passing/why the blurb is a turn-off:
It's not the premise. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. M/F/M can be hot. I was ready to 1-click till I got to the author's note. "This book also contains themes that might be triggering to some readers. But, if you're brave enough to get through it, I promise there'll be a treat for you at the end!"

This kind of reader taunting that's been going around is NOT cool. It's also childish. Reading certain scenes or content does not make one reader braver than another. It also doesn't mean that the reader who abstains is a coward. If there's content in a story that requires a trigger warning then the author needs to be professional about it. But I will automatically not read any author who tries to take a serious issue (like someone's triggers) and turn it into an immature marketing device.

It’s a very long story how I stumbled across Trick and Treat on Amazon, but my curiosity won over, seeing how it promised to be centred around Halloween, my favourite holiday.
I am relatively new to this genre and I understand that it is more heavily influenced by a person’s tastes and preferences than any other genre, because it deals with such a personal/intimate subject matter. I have to say, though, that this particular story of this particular genre was not my cup of tea.
I found the author had a set vocabulary typical for erotica that she kept repeating over and over to firmly establish the point of the story’s naughtiness. There are only so many times I can read about the character’s c… and how he wants to f… before the thrill of it is gone.
I appreciated the author’s trigger warning at the beginning of the story due to certain scenes and topics.
Obviously, this is a work of pure fiction and fantasy and as such I can see the author’s intentions of affording the male characters a sense of feral nature to aid in the creation of strong, rough and animalistic sexual partners. Sadly, it was done to excess and reading over and over again how one or the other male character “growls” gets a bit annoying when reading an entire book. On the other hand, the actual juicy scenes didn’t feel quite fleshed out. In a way some things were described in detail and other were only glossed over.
Overall, I had hoped for a bit more story surrounding the driving force of this book; maybe a bit more of a Halloween atmosphere would have been nice. I have to give it a pass.

Do you want a hot story with a racy plot, and a fantastic ending? Then this is the story for you. As with all this authors stories it was well written, full of hot steamy scenes, and a fun plot. It does contain some trigger warnings, but you should know that this author would never leave a reader without a HEA! These types of stories are my favorite. I loved the treat at the end!

Trick and Treat is the story of Bishop, Remy, and Annabella. Annabella is attending a party she really doesn’t want to be with a man she dislikes. She is already having a horrible time, when two men break in, and kidnap her upstairs to “punish” her for her father’s faults. Now, as mean as it is, I am going to leave you right here because the rest of this story if full on TREAT and a bit of TRICK. It is well worth reading until the end. Chapter 11 is full on swoon worthy and makes the entire story!! I LOVED this one and will read it every Halloween! I received an ARC and am leaving an honest review. Take a chance, read and get more out of Halloween this year!

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Annabella, Remy, and Bishop. Annabella goes to a halloween party that she had no desire to be at. Also she has a date that she wants nothing to do with. Little did she know how one night would change her life. While at the part she is taken by two men who do things to her she never thought she would get. However she wonders what will happen when Remy and Bishop are done with her? Will she be forced back into her boring life or will she get a HEA?

This is an amazing short story full of ups and downs. There are so many things I want to tell you about but don't want to ruin the story for anyone else. I will say this will be one of those stories that you won't be able to put down. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

I was ready to give it one star until almost the very end. And even the ending didn’t fix how I felt throughout most of this novella. I know they had their reasons but this type of stuff I do not enjoy reading about. If I’m honest with you because all of that I didn’t even read what was going on mostly just kept scrolling until the “hot” scenes were over because I didn’t consider them entertaining - more like disturbing.

Okay but....

These stories were okay. The first one the guys were pretty stupid and just got lucky. There was no way they could be sure no one would sneak out or had another phone they would use or would sneak attacking them. Plus wearing masks to then reveal your face a few minutes later was just again stupid. Why not hide their identity through the whole thing. Would have made more sense. So yeah, stupid criminals.

My last complaint... I love threesomes and foursomes. Fantastic, but after something goes in the backdoor, putting it in the mouth is asking to get seriously ill and putting it in the front is asking for a terrible infection. Sorry, but tonguing the back isn’t sexy either. It’s okay for a guy to go there, not orally, but don’t gross us out by having them rotate without any cleaning between! At that point it’s no longer sexy. It’s gross. I am not a prude, but I don’t know of any woman that would take a guy into her mouth who had just left her backdoor. I would Slap that fool silly for even thinking it!

I was shocked by the twist!! but I guess in my gut I had a feeling Annabella and Remy and Bishop had a connection like something to make her feel like she did..

As for the sex scenes.. i'll warn you abit its heavy and hot and very very rough.. and dang it was good...

Bishop and Remy have been watching Annabella for a long time. She is beautiful and innocent but her father is a bad guy. Her father destroyed their lives and they are planning on getting their revenge by using Annabella. It is Halloween and Annabella is going with her date to a wealthy student party. Bishop and Remy burst into the party and hold everyone at gun point. They take everyone's phones and threaten them not to leave or their colleagues would shoot them. They then drag Annabella upstairs to have their rough way with her.
Annabella isn't happy with her life. Her father is the powerful governor of the state but he is involved in shady deals. Her father drove away the love of Annabella's life. He controls all aspects of Annabella's life including her college, major, friends and boyfriends. Annabella wants nothing to do with the boy her father choose as a date that evening. She is expecting a boring night until two men took her away at gunpoint. Even though they were rough with her, she really loved their attentions.
This is a good story with lots of heat. It was very close to being nonconsentual sex. The book has a very surprised ending. I voluntarily receieved a copy of this story and this is my honest review.

Sophomoric at best

This book had a decent premise but the execution was poorly done.
The character development was almost nonexistent, the most we learn about the men (I can't say hero in this case) is that they are "brothers in all things but blood" and that they've been on a path of revenge for some time now. We get even less than that for the heroine - well we do find out that she is the crooked Governors' daughter. The plot could have been engaging but the book was just too short for it to unfold with any tension. The brevity of the work also made it hard for me to buy into the dark aspect, I like dark romance but w/o being able to get into the characters and plot it just sounded like flat out rape to me.
There were a slew of grammar, wrong word errors (e.g gable vs gamble etc.) and homophone errors (there vs their, two vs to vs too etc.). There were also editing errors such as repeated words, sentences and even one a whole, albeit smallish, paragraph. Just plain distracting in my opinion and it gives that impression of a quickly written, poorly edited self-published book.
I personally won't be reading anything by this author again.
**Warning: this book contains a scene of what amounts to rape and and anal rape of the heroine.**

5 outstanding, exceptional halloween stars for this quick, dirty read.

My how I love these quick, dirty, sexy reads. This Halloween special book is no exception. Annabella goes to a party on her college campus for Halloween. She's dressed as Little Red Riding Hood and mere minutes pass after she enters the party before two men flashing guns and sporting wolf masks breakdown the door. All the entitled little jerks at the party are screaming and crying, but then they're told to shut up. Annabella is frozen in place and just as she realizes that she needs to be on the floor with everyone else, one of the men tell her no and that she is coming with them upstairs cause they have special plans for using her to get revenge on her father. Grab this sexy, intriguing book today, you definitely won't be disappointed and you'll love the twist ending.

Madison Faye has written the hottest Halloween story with a kink touch! I loved Trick and Treat so much that I re-read it over and over, its that good! Remy ,Bishop and Annabella make a great couple in this book. This story reminds me of Alexa Riley’s Forced Submission series and I adored this story, its that good. Bishop and Remy are dressed as some Big Bad Wolves while Annabella is dressed up as Little Red Riding Hood. This story is set at a party held by her college but everything is not all it seems. There are some dark themes but lots of sexy scenes and witty humor and twists and turns to keep me hooked. This is a novella that holds several tricks and lots of wonderful treats. I liked this story and cannot wait to see is next from this author.

This party has the best treats!!! 😉

I received an Advance Reader Copy for Trick And Treat written by Madison Faye and voluntarily reviewed this book. This story is set up more like a delicious scenario to me, where Bishop and Remy, aptly dressed as Big Bad Wolves, set their eyes on Little Red Annabella Dupuis at the doorway a mansion hosting a Halloween party. They storm in, single her out, and take her upstairs, where they proceed to make clear to the rest of the partygoers that they will demand and take what they want - Why? You’ll have to read it for yourself.

Not to worry, this ends in an satisfying explanation of events which culminated in the resultant scenario above, as well as a trademark hot & sexy HEA.

This story is short, fast paced and steamy. I liked the steaminess and the mystery of who the heroes were and what the heroine’s father had done. I read this book in one sitting and thoroughly enjoyed it. I would definitely say that this book is a Halloween treat. The chemistry, attraction and passion between Remy, Bishop and Annabella were through the roof.
This story was panty and kindle melting hot. The passion between Bishop, Remy and Annabella. I liked the twist in the storyline. I predicted it would happen but I was really happy with it. I also liked that despite the lack of details until near the end, that Annabella’s past was revealed.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable read

Good story BUT

I read this right after I finished Claiming Candy, and the books were almost identical. It's almost like Faye started the Halloween MFM idea, but came up with two different scenarios and couldn't decide which one to use, so she wrote two novellas. Regardless, I loved both stories. They are dark, this one darker than the other, but she warns the reader. I hate she has bad reviews for that exact reason. It isn't fair to her as an author. I wish there was more dirty talk. That's the only thing I missed. I love filthy alpha heros, and while these guys were, they didn't have the dirty mouths my pervy butt likes to read. I definitely recommend this story, just take heed to her warning.

Trick and Treat indeed!! This book had me on the edge of my seat throughout the whole story and the twist at the end made my head spin! No spoilers though ;). And it was HOT!! At first I was not sure of what to think about this book. It starts out with two "too stupid to live" guys taking a house full of people hostage and then leaving them all alone downstairs un-attended and taking a girl upstairs to do extremely dirty things to her. I am sorry but the cops would have been there so fast and the guys would have been in jail. Yes, there is some really dirty sex to titillate but I just couldn't get into it. The ending and the backstory given at the end actually make the story better and almost redeem to whole book but not quite.

WOW Trick or Treat is right!

Ok I didn't know what to expect when I started to read this there were reviews that said they loved it and then there were reviews that said they hated it. I was conflicted but I kept coming back to it so I took the chance and I loved it now there are some things in it that people might not be ok with like rape but there's a twist in the book that will totally throw you for a loop and say holy carp did that just happen kind of thing but it's almost at the end of the book so encourage anyone who might interested to read the whole thing before giving up on it because the ending is where the HEA twist is. 💋💙💜😘

There is no way you can not love this story. What turns out to be a kinda creepy and crazy story and at one point my mind even went a little to the rape word it got totally blown away at the end. Never underestimate Madison's writing. These characters are so freaking insane, hot and willing to do what needs to be done, it just happens to be Halloween when they decide to do it. Gotta love Halloween, This is an excellent short story by Madison. I voluntarily read an advance reader copy for my honest review.

This read was an almost DNF for me, but I sucked it up and then it all made since, I am glad I finished. It was a Hawt as Sin Read about Bishop and Remy and them taking revenge, but you have no idea why until the end. Annabella is the daughter of who they want revenge for, and they storm a Halloween party and kidnap her to get what they want. Just don't give up on this read you will have an AHA moment after everything is reveled. I read this ARC to share my thoughts on this sinfully dirty read.

A real steamy treat from Madison Faye. Trick and Treat centers around 3 people: Bishop, Remy and Annabella. Bishop and Remy both want Annabella bad. They get the chance of a lifetime when they spot a sexy Red Riding Hood (Annabella) at a college campus Halloween party. Things are going to get crazy. This book is sexy, erotic, suspenseful with some wickedness sprinkled in. The real treat is the twist, which was unexpected. Halloween treat..

A short twisty and dirty romance... I loved the premise of this novella a halloween treat with an unexpected trick or two...

There are some dark themes but plenty of humour and light as a counterbalance.. the author really knows how to write sexy and captivating heroes and heroines and the main characters in this story are no exception...

Dirty Fun

This was a fun and dirty read
Revenge is a dish best served cold... Or rather, SMOKING HOT!
Bishop and Remy want revenge against the governor, so how best to do that, take his 18 year old daughter, Annabelle.
While Annabelle is at a Halloween party Bishop and Remy break down the front door. What happens next will have your panties melting and you needing a cigarette and a cold shower

After reading Claiming Candy it was a bit disappointing that this was the more or less exact same story with a few details changed.

The twist was fun in the first story, but since I knew it was coming this time, because it was glaringly obvious after having seen it done the exact same way, it kind of ruined the fun. Despite not being able to believe it was really dub-con or danger banging, it was still a hot read. I like that the author makes it a bit crude and dirty.

Did not see that twist coming! Another great one by Madison involving MFM it was hot steamy raunchy with a twist!! Friends becoming lovers to get twisted up because of politics and an asshole father! She sure showed them what was coming to them!! They all did! I wanted more and more! But then I always do when it’s by you!
