A house of lies and secrets.
It's inside those walls that I find myself trapped.
I'm more than just the princess to a mafia kingdom—I'm the future queen.
Three lovers. One traitor.
An endless stream of betrayal.

One is like a wolf, the other a coyote, and the last a fox.
Three dark bosses of the New York underworld and they're all mine.
Although I must remember: they all bite.

They lavish me with attention, but their motives are dark as shadow.
Somebody isn't telling the truth; somebody is breathing lies.
And it looks like … the rat's been in the walls all along.
Listening, waiting, hunting.
This book contains graphic group sex, violent action scenes, intrigue, one strong heroine, and her three dark-hearted lovers. This is part 2 of 5--the end of the 5 story ARC will complete the series.

C.M. Stunich is a self-admitted bibliophile with a love for exotic teas and a whole host of characters who live full time inside the strange, swirling vortex of her thoughts. Some folks might call this crazy, but Caitlin Morgan doesn't mind - especially considering she has to write biographies in the third person. Oh, and half the host of characters in her head are searing hot bad boys with dirty mouths and skillful hands (among other things). If being crazy means hanging out with them everyday, C.M. has decided to have herself committed.

She hates tapioca pudding, loves to binge on cheesy horror movies, and is a slave to many cats. When she's not vacuuming fur off of her couch, C.M. can be found with her nose buried in a book or her eyes glued to a computer screen. She's the author of over thirty novels - romance, new adult, fantasy, and young adult included. Please, come and join her inside her crazy. There's a heck of a lot to do there.

Oh, and Caitlin loves to chat (incessantly), so feel free to e-mail her, send her a Facebook message, or put up smoke signals. She's already looking forward to it.

The lights were off. And the darkness was everywhere.

I really hope book three is out now.
This is just the next part of the story of the future mafia queen and her three mafia princes. She thinks she knows who the rat is, but she is not 100% sure.

This is just a good story. Harem. Mafia. Woman who is taking charge. Some blood. Some violence. Some mystery.

Normally I don't read two books by the same author back to back, but since those books were only 135 pages each I thought that they could never be the cause of a reader's block if I would read them back to back on the same day. And I'm really glad that after the first book I also read the second book right away, because I'm not sure if I would have picked the second book up anytime soon if I hadn't picked it up right now.

However, the second book worked a lot better for me than the first book! Mostly that is because the mystery of the rat is getting way more attention. Not only do we get to see all the different sides of the Mafia life and all the possible rats, but we also get to see how brutal it truly is and how dangerous it can be even if you do exactly as you are told to do. The dangers get way more real and therefore the stakes are raised too.

I also started to sympathize a little more with the main character. Although we're still entirely different people and I wished she would dare to show more emotions (I know that's not wanted in that world, but she's the POV character! She can feel them without showing them, right?), she started to feel a little more human in this book. She didn't just feel excitement and lust, she also felt fear and sadness and anger.

On top of that we also got to see and know a little more about the guys in her harem. I don't really feel like I know them yet, but at least we get to see glimpses of their character and personality. I can't wait to grow closer to them, because that's where it might become really interesting.

The one thing I personally find a little sad, is that normal life has been cut out of the picture quite rigorously. Of course, we see a few of her "normal" friends in this book again, but I kinda liked the inner conflict between the thrill of the Mafia life and the safe and normalcy of the normal life. That dilemma was already solved by the end of the previous book. For me that could have gone on a little longer.

However, I'm really curious to see what this book will be when it's re-released! I'm sure Stunich will make some changes and I also can't wait to see where the story goes. Because, I now really wanna see this all play out!

Woow damn , cm stunich did it again. She is a fkn writing machine, does she ever sleep?! Okay let's talk about the book a lil
I liked this a lot , in this book we get to know more about all of the guys and Adel ofc which was nice. But i expected Adelasia to be more "dark" like at the end of the first book
Yaas slay i loved the scen with fucking Bo and her & her Mafia guys , even tho i wanted her to be sassy and say something real nasty after he said whore to her😱 like Wtf how can you even... it's more like he is the hoe 😈
This is an RH so don't be suprised when Adel is in a relationship with all of them

I’m obsessed with this series. Adelasia is proving she can take on anyone. I love Adelasia, Caj, Lucky and Marcell together. There’s a rat and Adelasia knows exactly who it is. I can’t wait too see what is going too happen next.

Boring! That's a simple n easy way to put it.
Nothing n i mean absolutely nothing got me hooked into this book. I picked it up coz of the mafia genre but sadly there was nothing mafia about it. It seemed like a kid's book to me- no violence, barely there sex, the H not manly enough, the h just passable.

More than half the pages were spent on describing what she was wearing & the rest on what she was eating. Between the two n some Italian lines thrown in the middle, there was hardly anything happening.
Dont get me wrong- im all for dressing well. But u dont have to fill pages of your story with it. If you're writing a full length, id understand it. But its a novella with like 30 pages? Ur just wasting precious story length. (Unless ofcourse you dont have a story :p)
N c'mon u gotta have swoon worthy intimidating heroes in a mafia novel. Apart from their looks which were good at best, they had nothing mouth watering to offer. Their personalities didnt come through. THEY NEVER WORK. All they did was go out with the h. Ur the mafia heads, arent u supposed to be busy?

The h wants to be the queen, but when I don't see a reason to make her queen why will her father's men? She just doesnt have it in her. Nothing intimidating about her. She doesnt have the balls for it or should i say the b**bs for it? U gotta get urself someone stronger STUNICH.
Anway there was a saving grace- the plot! Though predictable, it was made interesting through some surprise elements. So pick at your own risk.

Lavish is book 2 in CM Stunich's Reverse Harem Mafia series. Mischief, danger, and sex. This is a line in the book that sums up this book to perfection! We continue the story of Adelasia Costella on her journey to become The Mafia Queen. Her and her three lovers, the three underbosses of the other major crime families have just survived an attempt on their lives. Now the games begin. Adelasia has to find the traitor; someone close to her is lying, wants her dead. Is it one of her men or her own family?

This book is HOT! The mafia politics, the family intrigue, the steaminess between Adelasia, Caj, Lucky, and Marcell. A wolf, a coyote, and a fox. Each different, yet the same. Three beautiful men all fighting for attention, all sexy, all deadly. It's an irresistible combination. And Adelasia is a dark force that cannot be ignored. She's clever, angry, determined. I believe she is the most dangerous character in the book and the men would do well to not underestimate her.

I could not put this book down. CM Stunich is a favorite of my authors. Her books always entertain (obsess) me. I am convinced that she is writing this series especially for me. RH, Mafia, hot characters, action, intrigue, sex...she checked off my wish list. Eagerly awaiting my next book!

I am soo happy CM is doing RH in so many different genres!! I like the grit and darkness in this series, different than her other lighter ones. I like that these almost novella length books only have about a month in between them, I am chomping at the bit for more!

We get to see the aftermath of the big attack scene from Lure and how that affects our MC and her relationship with her father, other mafia people, and the 3 guys she is hooking up with. There are some shocking turn of events that had be aching to skip ahead to see, but I got some self control haha. I love how the dark can overrun the light and how even though you know its wrong, its just so right. I usually don't side with mafia types, but this book is changing my mind. I am loving where CM is taking Adelasia and how she is embracing it while dealing with betrayals and conspiracies. Each of her 3 guys have that dark quality but are also amazingly loyal, passionate, and have so much depth and this is only just the beginning of the series! Another great one CM <3

Can't wait for #3 next month...its gonna get even more steamy, dramatic, and violent wohoooo!

Title: Lavish
Series: Mafia Queen, #2
Author: C.M. Stunich
Rating: 4.25 Stars
Cliffhanger:
“They lavish me with attention, but their motives are dark as shadow...”

The second book/novella in the Mafia Queen series did not disappoint, that's for sure.

I enjoyed the fact that Adelasia got some more time with the guys individually, though I'd still like to know more about Marcell as I feel we know the least about him. I hope they'll have more scenes in the next book. It took me a bit to remember which of the guys was which, but eventually I was back in the loop.
“I was going to play the same game as everyone else.
I would lie.
I would bullshit.
I would win.”

The plot was good and Adelasia's character became darker, stronger and more dangerous as she let herself remember the feel of being on the wrong side of the law. Must say I loved that side of hers.

Honestly though, I need the third book.

I was suspecting her father to be the rat, but there are so many possibilities running through my mind that I don't even want to think anymore. This is why I don't like (sort of) mystery books.

But either way, again, this was a super short read and I need more for sure. Now that there is more content, there is definitely a development in characters which I like, even though its a little mild.

My favourite scene from the book? Oh definitely how at the restaurant, Caj threatened to cut Bo's freaking throat. He got what he deserved after calling her a slut. Like, I don't understand jealousy sometimes. You cheated on her, had a freaking child with her best friend and you insult her just because you see her make out with another guy that is way hotter and better than you?? Even though he is a murderer he definitely has more manners and a good attitude compared to Bo's sorry ass.

Getting a little emotional here haha, pardon me.

Spoiler Wars (with myself)

I’m incredibly frustrated with how good, and yet, how SHORT these books are. I usually never read novellas and I can count on one hand how many I HAVE read and they’re ALL CM and they’re ALL fantastic. How annoying is that.
In usual fashion: here are my thoughts, as they came to me:

Yes yes yes yes gimme gimme gimme.

Wait, I thought someone DIDNT want her dead? Mafia life is so confusing.

She should totally shoot Vera. I bet she’s the traitor anyway.

Get. It. Girl.

This book is insane. I LOVE it.

WHAAAT. PLOT TWIST.

“This darkness and this blood and this hate. It's simmering underneath the surface of the world, lurking in shadows and waiting to strike.” - this is exactly what I love about CM’s writing. It’s bold and dark and fcking beautiful.

AHH WHAT. ITS OVER?!

Wow another exciting instalment in this wickedly sinful decadent story. The plot thickens and Lazy is not sure what is going on, she trusts no one except herself, she cannot help but want the three mafiosa men in her life

Using her cunning and her body to get what she wants she is playing the game and letting her inner Donna come out to play. Well written and full of danger excitement and steam this power story continues on and leaves you wanting more, a fabulous read which I highly recommend

Gimme More

This book was better than the first. In part 2, we start to get to know Adelasia better and why she pulled away from her family. She endured a lot and know why she left is heart breaking. Caj, Lucky and Marcell want her so much but she is still fighting her attraction to them.
I will patiently be waiting for part three. Or maybe not so patiently. Gimme part three C.M!

Sexy, snarky, dark and dangerous Italians...yum!

This series is already addictive! Loved this book just as much as the first one. It's getting more dangerous and deceitful...and quite a bit sexier. Adelesia's life is getting very closely intertwined with Marcell's, Lucky's and Caj's. They're considering some very dangerous undertakings. It's gonna be good!! Can't wait for the next installment!

Lavish is the second instalment of the Mafia Queen miniseries. Holy Moley, I’ve wanted to read a Mafia reverse Harem book series for awhile, but I don’t think I really knew how much until I read this series. These dark and sinful men have me drooling. I cannot get enough of these books waiting on the edge of my seat for the next one.
Won’t give too much away, but this book is well written, full of danger, excitement and steam. It’s an over all fantastic read, leaves you wanting more.

Budding Mafia Queen
Lavish is another quick read that takes you further into Adelasia's world. Exposing you to the twists and turns of a mafia life. She's good at playing the game and getting better! After discovering who the 'rat' really is, she puts all her cards on the table and makes a deal with the devil. I loved the book but again found it too short for my likes. CM Stunich truly is a wonderful author and I can't wait to see how the story unfolds..

Stunich picks up this book amazingly. We get to know how strong Lazy really is and the plot begins to thicken as she tries to uncover who the rat is. As I read along, she is strong and is the one to carry all the men together. She has a strong backbone and not one to shy away. I loved how she proposed to the three men with the contracts/information about her family business. The reply with a diamond from Lucky was a great response. I loved that. Would recommend the read.

Aw, man! I didn't realize that this was an unfinished series. These first two were awesome. I didn't even feel like they were short stories. There was so much plot development and depth in under a hundred pages each. Plus, the sexual tension and that one group scene... So good. Well, I hope the last two books come out soon. I guess I'll have to read everything else she has out while I wait. Five stars! I love all the mafia, gangster, mc series. They are my kryptonite.

Part one was awesome, and I didn’t think it could get any better, but it did! Adelasia is finally being true to herself and I love it. She is a badass that knows what she wants and how to get it. Even though she is a bad-ass she feels deep. The guys are sexy, and determined to help her out. I can’t wait for the next part!

“I knew the seed of corruption inside of me, the one I'd stifled for so long, had finally sprouted.”

The second book was just as good as I hoped it would be. The story was intriguing and captivating, leaving me with no choice but to simply sit back and soak it all in.
Can't wait to see what happens next.

More!!!

I’ve never been into Mafia type books in the past but CM drew me in with the first one and I am hooked! These are dark and sinful like a piece of good dark chocolate and a hot man. I can see why Adelasia struggles with who she is but is giving in more and more considering everything she has found out. I can’t wait to read #3!

The story is getting hott!! In so many ways!!

In this second installment we have a bit of character development, learned some more backstory, and really begun you delve into the story as the intrigue and betrayal thickens. The true villain may not be expected, and our heroine must step up to the plate. But to do that she'll have to give up her old life and submit to her darker desires.

Great part 2

Another great short, part 2 of Adelasia story. The secrets seem to never end, and the real traitor will definitely be found in the end. With some good spice. Ending on another cliffhanger. 😁🔥🔥
