"Every Day Isn't Perfect" is a woman's story. It's your story. It's my story. It's a collection of inspirational stories and prose telling the stories of human hopes and fears. It's divided into five chapters: Chapter 1: Faith and Purpose, Chapter 2: Philosophy and Wisdom, Chapter 3: Friendship and Community, Chapter 4: Forgiveness and Love, and Chapter 5: Family and Hope.
"Every Day Isn't Perfect" shares what I and others have gone through. It shows you how to successfully push through the good as well as the bad days of your life. No matter what! It gives you hope: Hope in trusting God's plan, following your dreams, figuring out your life's purpose, making tough decisions, letting go of fear, finding and loving yourself, meeting the right one, embracing change, and realizing you are not alone on this journey.
"Every Day Isn't Perfect" is a woman's story. It's a story that teaches you how to trust and love. It's a story that touches the soul and heals the heart. It's a beautiful and simple reminder that you were born to overcome and win! ❤

Everyday Isn’t Perfect is just a good, well-written book to read your life into balance, covering both diet and exercise in a common sense, practical way. K.L. Register’s little tome is part prose and part poetry with sections of self-help and a taste of memoir, a literary sampler if you will. And … it’s funny, too. I thought I was the only one that didn’t like mac and cheese.
Here’s a sample of the goods: “You shouldn't have to beg a person to be a part of your life. There are too many people searching for someone like you,” “genuine friends have emotional hearts that will always and forever be invisibly tied together,” and my favorite, “You were not put on Earth to be perfect; you were put here for a purpose. You are alive today because there is a meaning, a purpose, a plan for your life. You still have work to do!”
This is and easy read that will only take you a day or two when you get started, but you should keep it close when you need a little push. Highly recommended!
“A smile doesn't mean everything in your life is perfect. It just means you are thankful for the imperfect life you have.” This book was exactly what I needed to get my life back on track. Just because you’ve been living one way for so long, that doesn’t mean you have to stay that way, you could change your future self right now! I really appreciate Dr. Register’s vulnerability and I’m so glad I picked this up when I did because it couldn’t have been at a better time than this.
The front cover of Dr. Register's book states that her book is a collection of short stories and prose that will make you think, smile, and cry. I must say, unlike many products, this book does exactly what it says it will do. With everything that is going on in the world today, I must say, this book is very befitting. One of my favorite quotes from her book states: "It is my belief that you can be great, but it is your decision to be great." My second favorite quote states that "An unsuccessful relationship with the wrong person will make you appreciate a successful relationship with the right person". If you haven't yet discovered your purpose in life, then this book will truly inspire you to do so, and to not give up until you do. This book is full of so many useful tips on how to live a healthier life, as well as how to become the best version of you. This book will make you ask yourself a lot of questions, such as "How can I make a difference in the world?", "What can I do today that my future self will thank me for?" This is the type of book that you can gift to anyone. This is more than a Must - Read book, it is food for your soul.
We've all been there, and no doubt will be there again, but hopefully stronger and more in touch with who we are. Written like a journal, this evolutionary process, interspersed with inspiring quotes and poetry, leads us all on the path of life. How is your journey proceeding? Dr. Register's personal experiences and down-to-earth style of writing will resonate with your own life. A good read!
By sharing a little, the author shared a lot through her vulnerabilities. It made it easier to identify with her memories because on a deeper level they reflected the emotions that we have all experienced. My only regret is that I waited so long to read it, but it also puts me closer to "Part II".
I felt throughout the book that you were speaking to me. You have stepped on my ties throughout the writings as though you knew my very own life experiences. You pointed out my faults and told me how to fix them. I cannot wait to read further into the next volume. It was as though I was being gently preached to. Thank you so much.
I love the fact that Dr. Register was brave enough to share some of her deepest feelings with the world. It's packed with great life and relationship advice. She's tough, smart, and her dirty little secret is a big reason why she's so successful.
This book is so uplifting. I can read it over and over again. It definitely speaks to my life. I will definitely recommend it every lady in my circle. I can't wait to read more from this Author.
I loved the book in its entirety! I highlighted so much due to it having a lot of great information throughout the book. I recommend this book to any and everyone!
I loved every minute in this book. It didn't take me long to finish but I know that I'll read it again and again. The poetry was gorgeous and refreshing and the prose meaningful and inspiring.
My favorite passage was about writing, speaking to me as a writer. To answer the question about why we write is essential. Here's my favorite part that came out of the question as to the reason for writing:
“Never be ashamed of who you are. Never be embarrassed of the experiences you have gone through. Each unique challenge you have faced has made you stronger than you were in the past. Your deepest, darkest, and scariest fears can be overcome. You are never alone. We will travel this journey together. Our work is not done here on Earth.”
Thank you so much, Dr. K. L., for sharing your gifts and your stories.
