When Wring meets Shannon, it's at the wrong place and time. Wring doesn't need a woman to take away his numb; feeling is for others.
But Shannon deliciously melts away old wounds while Wring fights to ignore their growing passion. Can Wring save Shannon from circumstances that threaten her? Can he save himself?

This book would have been a solid 4 stars for me if it hadn’t felt so rushed and the characters were developed more. It just went from pivot moment of danger, to brush off, to stupid heroine wanting to go alone to “talk” with the gang banger who wanted to rape her, to a demand to fu€k, death and HEA. What?
Wenn man für die Übersetzung jemanden mit Ahnung davon genommen hätte wäre es für die Buchreihe viel besser gewesen. Die Storys über die einzelnen Biker sind toll, aber die gruselige Übersetzung schmälert den Lesegenuss
This series had the ability to hook me up with just two books. It's been an intense roller coaster ride, that's for sure. Marata Eros has this amazing writing that will make you want to devour her books in a sec. Her writing is raw and wild, hot and intense with a touch of darkness. Wring is the third book from the Road Kill MC series and explores the lives of Wring and Shannon. Wring is a former Navy Seal that now dedicates his life defending his club. His brothers are his life and he'll do anything for them. He doesn't want commitment, he loves to be free like a bird. When he saves Shannon... Shannon dedicates her life taking care of her mother. One moment things are okay and the next she sees herself in danger because some bikers want her house. When she's saved by a stranger... Jesus... This series is getting better by the book. Amazing plot, super engaging, dark and intense. Each chapter made me don't want to stop reading, because the way it ended spiked my need to know more. The characters worked perfectly with each other and you can feel their connection. This book makes us realize that love will find you when you least expect it. This book gave us crime, madness, punishment, drama as well as love, loyalty and hope. Life isn't always perfect, but in your imperfections you can find your strength. Another amazing game book and I can't wait to start the next one. Great story Marata.
So this is the third book in the series I’ve read so far. I’m not sure why I keep going with the hope the next one will be better. Wring was one of my favorite characters in the other books, and he’s not terrible in this book, and if these characters were given time to get to know each other I think I’d really like him. Instead we once again get a dumb h who makes all the wrong choices over and over again. I am completely disappointed in every h I have read in this series. Shannon actually walks to a gang house to “talk” to the guy that has assaulted her numerous times. These whole I can do it myself talks I guess seem like the author is making them be independent but in reality they can’t take care of themselves. I also didn’t like that Wring rescues her and takes her home and basically says, they are having sex and it’s final. I mean back pedaling and saying not into rape but he’s not even trying to finesse or romance her, just I saved you and now we fuck. I’m only going to try a couple more books, hopefully they get better.

This series is basically the same book over and over with different details. Big, bad, 2d, no personality biker with no interest in a relationship stumbles upon the innocent girl of his dreams. Some threat pushes him to protect her, after a couple days, and after kuch resistance on the females party, they're in love.
It's repetitive and boring. Some other ridiculousness: There are literally no medical records that will tell you if someone is a virgin. Are you serious author? You need a masters degree to be a librarian.
The MFC is suffering from shock after being assaulted twice in one day, the same day she met the mmc and he still demands sex from her. A virgin!
I felt nothing for this couple and their sexy scene is super flat. No chemistry. Also, no. This is just ouch. Makes me think the author has never encountered an actual clitoris. "peeling back the small hood and flicking a fingernail over the sensitive tip."
This was a great story but I had one HUGE pet peeve- there is a reference to "illegals and gang members". I honestly was disgusted because the author made no follow-up to the awful reference. Nothing to correct the character for referencing people as if they were an object. There was an underlining tone of xenophobia and racism. I tried not to read too much into but I would have at least appreciated an after thought to rectify the words. I also realized the author could be trying to portray a more realistic version of MC bikers but still it left me with a sour taste. It is really a shame because I did enjoy the story which is building very nicely on the previous books of the series. Story-wise I would give it a 5 star but then I just cant give a book with a xenophobic reference anything more than 3 stars.
I never thought I would like the dark side of the MC world, let alone one that also has a hard gang in it that deals with human trafficking. But it work and the story run smoothly, with such emotion that Shannon bring to the story. Such love and devotion to he mother, yet a spark ignites when she is randomly saved by Wring. Wring tried to deny his feelings for her as well, because he sure did not need that in his messed up life. Dealing with PTS syndrome was enough. Fate decides differently, they need each other.... they save each other. Cant wait for the next MC book
This series just gets better and better. An MC romance full of grit and raw passion. The journey for Wring and Shannon is action packed, full of twists and turns and will have you on the edge of your seat. As Wring struggles with accepting what his heart already knows, mistakes will be made, lives will be placed in danger but overall love will win the fight. A great story that will have you gripped from start to finish.
Wow. This is Wring's story, another knotter. And brilliant at it too. When Wring rescues a beautiful blonde-haired woman from a gang member, he falls for her. Begrudgingly. The gang want Shannon and her mother's home. It is jammed between two buildings owned by the bikers. But the stakes have not got even higher. The leader wants Shannon's body as part of the sale price. Is Wring and his club members going to let that happen? Not on his watch.
Just an okay read with lots more potential. Storyline was good but why oh why do authors make the females out to be so stupid. Who in their right mind would go into a den of gang members alone who’d already said what they wanted from her sexually. And the sick mother. As I said okay read but not enough to keep reading.
I'm thinking I've been over this story before and there wasn't anyway I get connected to a guy who just rescued an innocent girl and he says I'm going to f you after I wash that bad guys brains off you. He knows she's a virgin and he does even use a condom. Just too crude and rude.
This is a great story of what can happen when you dare to take the road not taken. The violence can be off putting to some. I can't wait for the next book in the series!
This author has abuse of women and violence in many of her books, definitely including this action packed, intense story about Shannon and Wring. It's a really fast read, only 189 pages with a happily ever after.
wring: MC series action & suspense steamy hot alpha romance spicy thriller nove
I enjoyed reading this series, Wring is incredible and interesting. He doesn’t want a permanent relationship, but himself caring for a petite libertarian.
These men love their drama! The stories all develop similarly but gosh I'm dragged into this series! Wring and Shannon have a very rocky start but love conquers all!
Omg i.love this series and these knotters. Their stories are all unique and they all have their own things haunting them. I love this series and this book was amazing!
Wring & Shannon I read the box set and while these books had potential the plot holes and character inconsistencies were too big for me to become a fan.
3.5 stars. The series gets better with each book, but I feel like they are all too quick and leave out details that make you understand their love for each other.
Finishing his career as a knotter for the Seals left him marked, hollow and unable to sleep. Now as his Seal and MC Brothers find their peace he finds himself restless and tired of the routing, but he keeps on going, until he sees something or rather someone that needs him more than he needs himself. Shannon is in a difficult situation, not enough to keep her sick mother and herself afloat but not willing to give up the fight for her happiness and the little life she has left. Danger that's where she lives right smack in the middle of it and it wants her and her and her house. This book is filled with a hot needing passion for something more than just... well you know. No it's an insta love that is more than just the words insta love. It is a need to belong to be safe to be loved and to be whole. That is Marata, gives us with this, the fifth book in the series. Wring fills the hollow in his life when he sees the green eyes shinning back at him with the same fear and longing he has in his heart. So much more than just a biker book!
Yes. And his are screaming to be noticed. Sometimes it takes just the right woman to heal all their hurts. WOW!! What a TRULY TOP-KNOT, FAN-BIKER-TASTIC story that grabbed me right from the cover, not letting go for even a second, straight through until.. well, actually it has yet to release me! *ahem* I have actually read it through 2+ times! I LOVE IT THAT MUCH!!! This book as a whole, Shannon and especially Wring, have definitely, completely, ABSO-FRACKING-LUTELY gathered my heart in his hands to Wring even MORE love out of it, a love for these crude and brash, tender and hard Roadkill MC dudes that runs deeper than even I realized!! Seriously! I felt like I was Shannon, even like I was Wring, living this small part of their lives with them, as them! But to be there to witness, experience, that first meeting of them was very special, the top of the knot! I love, Love, LOVE the creative lines, thoughts, etc. The sarcasm cracks me right up!! Marata must have had a blast writing Wring! Well, excepting the horrible parts, of course, but even those have purpose and make the good, sweet & hot parts even more so!! Who knew this series could get richer & deeper with each new book that Marata releases?!? I thought that Noose/Knot/Rose was pretty BIKERTASTIC, but then Snare came along and he SNARED my heart, but now with Wring? WOOOWEEE!!! And WHEW! I thought this one was going to Wring me right out, I was THAT in to it!! And if you know ANYTHING about me, it’s that I am a paranormal gal who never reads books like these... or at least I DIDN'T until Marata's Roadkill MC came along and – and DON’T unless is has “by Marata Eros” on it!, that is! wink With her phenomenal talent and exceptional gift, Marata has once again taken "writing a book" to a whole new top floor glassed-in garden level!! “Why do chicks cry when they're not sad?” The answer to that Wring, is because guys like you make girls like me fall so hard, so fast and so intensely, the emotions just leak & pour out of us!! Sam Walker, Let’s knot up. wink psst! Want to make story come alive even more than it already is? Watch Marata/Tamara's YouTube vlogs because she reads a page or 3 of a book that she's currently working on or is releasing around that time! I watched & listened to 2 or 3 different parts of Wring and when I started reading it, I could picture Marata i.e. Wring doing all of the motions! ABSO-FREAKING-LUTELY AWESOME!!!!
Every time Ms Eros writes a new member of the MC, I fall in love all over again. It's not just the sexy, demanding alpha attitude each of them owns, it's the way they as veterans, each with his own form of PTSD, stays a serviceman at heart, rescuing those who need them and doling out punishment as they see fit. They support each other no matter what kind of trouble each one steps into, and they have a brotherhood that surpasses friends and family.
Though Wring likes to keep to himself, he is really no different from the rest of the men. He generally takes care of his baser needs and joins the group when necessary. But riding through town and seeing Shannon in distress brings out the hero in him, the one he left in the war, and he can’t help but interfere. He isn’t looking for love, but fate decides differently. Of course, the road to happiness is never paved, and with these guys, there are a lot of ruts. This time in the form of a dangerous gang, a gang that wants control of not only Shannon’s home but the woman herself.
I love the way Ms Eros can take you to the seedy side of the world, sometimes in the form of a fantasy, and sometimes the story takes you someplace you know exists, and you’re simply glad to not have to live there. But whatever the mode, there’s always some kind of escape no matter how dangerous the journey. And I always leave a piece of myself behind in her stories. I’ve grown attached to some of her characters, and I’m looking forward to Lariat’s story.
