If it honestly wasn't for the last 3 chapters of this volume, I would've rated this with 1-2 stars.
Spoilers Below:
This volume started with Junpei and Miyako going to Ruo at his grandmother's place because of the events that happened last volume. While going there, we learn about Ruo and Miyako's past and why Ruo "likes" Miyako even though they are cousins Also during that trip, Junpei tells Miyako to stay by Ruo's side and if I may be honest here, that made me cringe because first of all, they're cousins. Second of all, during the last volume I was surprised how fast and sudden Miyako and Junpei became a couple only for them to "break up" quickly this volume. As a reader it did not make any sense to me whatsoever. Was them being a "couple" even necessary?! Moving on, they found Ruo and his grandmother, and there was an amazing dance there beautifully drawn by Asakura-sensei, and then after that it was back to head scratching again because Miyako and Ruo really "stayed together" with Chizuru-san even telling Junpei to leave them alone because this was a "Family Affair".
After that very cringeworthy moment, only good amazing things happened from there. In the last couple of chapters in this volume, Chizuru tells Junpei to just trust his instincts which made Junpei go to Oikawa's School and aim for the SS Scholarship. Now the dancing here was drawn very very very beautifully and intricately. I actually loved how Asakura-sensei drew this part that I reread the chapter 3 times just because of how in awe I am. I believe Asakura-sensei really was able to convey Junpei's emotions through this chapter and I definitely loved it. I loved it enough for me to give this volume 4 stars just because of it. This volume also ended with Junpei getting the SS Scholarship and having a fast forward 1 year later. During the last few panels it can be seen that Junpei isn't really happy and goes as far as calling himself a "slave". Why? I guess the next volume will hold those answers. Now, I just have to wait for the future volumes to done in English. /cries/
