Lucian Badd saved my life. He jumped into the freezing water of the Ketchikan harbor after I fell in. He took me to his room, stripped my wet clothes off, and wrapped me in a warm blanket.
That should have been it. I should have hit the road as soon as I could, because I’m a vagabond, a drifter. A homeless orphan with no family and no future except what I create for myself. Which is why getting tangled up with a guy—no matter how tall, dark, quiet, and sexy he may be—is a really terrible idea.
Yet…I kissed him anyway. And that one kiss? It set my world on fire, turned everything upside down.
I know I shouldn’t get involved with him. I tell myself I won’t. Yet, I still get pulled in by him and his seven brothers and their wives and girlfriends—by the concept of family, something I haven’t had in a very, very long time. Something I never thought I’d have again.
Every moment I spend with Lucian turns my present into perfect, and puts my future at risk.
* * *
As the second youngest Badd brother, I’ve lived my entire life in the long, broad shadows cast by my older brothers—the burly, bad boy bartender, the Navy SEAL, the trick pilot, the athlete, and the rock star twins. Even my younger brother, Xavier, finds a way to outshine everyone in the room with his unassuming charisma and dizzying intellect. More and more lately, I’ve been asking myself where I fit in.
And then Joss Mackenzie fell into the Inside Passage in the middle of a freak snowstorm, and in so doing, fell into my life. I saved her from the icy water, but can I can I save myself from falling for a girl I know is only going to end up doing the one thing she does best—leave?
It’s evident from the first kiss what the answer is—there’s no saving myself, not from the magnetic appeal of her wild, untamable spirit, or the exotic allure of her caramel skin and long dreadlocks and golden-brown eyes and perfect body. I’m helpless against this attraction.
But as I seek to find myself and my place among my larger-than-life brothers, will I lose my heart to the exotic beauty with walls a mile high and a tragic past?

Lucian was a nice reading for me. Not my favorite from the Badd Brothers' series but it was good enough.
I loved Lucian, he was so sweet and thoughtful but always so quite. He had a few insecurities that's what kept him away from his family and Alaska. And he kept a distance when his brothers were all playing around and teasing each other.
Now Joss was different from the heroines in the previous books! At first she frustrated me a lot with her behavior toward Lucian. She was cold and warm and running away from him whenever they got a little closer. But when she got her shit together they were a pretty lovely couple.
My only concern once again like in the previous books of this series, is that in some it didn't bother me so much and the others it was too damn obvious. So here once again all the good stuff happened toward the end and I didn't get to enjoy. They weren't together a lot during the book. So I wanted a lot more time while they were a couple. And I wanted Lucian to find his passion a little earlier in the book so we could process it and jump right to the next problem to solve. And of course his insecurities were solved pretty quickly by talking with his brothers and that's it.
Xavier had a promising start of the next book. Fingers crossed it will be the best and last book of this great series.!
Probably the first time I have not been able to connect to our 2 main characters. 🤔
Joss seemed rude and brass, and I know it was because of her insecurities but it just came off wrong. And Lucian was pictured in the previous books as something calm and solid, and he was such a mess here. Maybe my expectations to him was too high?
They talked about their trust issues so much, and it bothered me in the end because I get why they have trouble trusting, but I didn’t feel they moved forward at all. It was like running in a circle🤔🤷🏻♀️
Read: 04/02/2021 1st rating: 2.5 stars Genre/tropes: Small town romance/contemporary romance/ new adult Cover: 3 stars POV’s: Dual -1st person (Joss & Lucian) Will I recommend: Not this one.
Reviewing on behalf of Relentless Book Chics Ramblings and reviews
I loved Lucian and Joss; this was another heart warming Badd brother’s story.
I’m a huge fan of this author and I’ve loved this series from the start and since reading the taster of their story in the previous books epilogue, I couldn’t wait to read it. Lucian Badd is a bit of a loner and in a family of 8 brothers; it’s hard to be yourself when everyone expects you to be like your older brothers.
Joss has been alone for a few years now and the shock of falling in ice cold water and being rescued by a gorgeous man seriously effects her judgement because she agrees to stay with the Badds.
Lucian and Joss both try to deny their attraction to each other but over time, they both give in to their desires. When Joss freaks out and leaves, Lucian is left devastated and wondering what he did wrong. Will Joss realise that home is where the heart is before it’s too late or will she continue her journey through life alone?
I loved Joss and Lucian’s story. They both had insecurities and vulnerabilities that were endearing and they were adorably clueless about love. It was a bittersweet moment reading the epilogue because I know that Xavier’s book will be the last but I’m still looking forward to reading the conclusion to this phenomenal series and I highly recommend it.
Lucian!!! OMG..this book was wonderfully written and so emotion inducing. Every emotion, actually considering the other brothers and their better halves were there as well, but mostly it is the story of Lucian and Joss and their voyage to not only understanding each other, but themselves. The same but different in circumstances, they are both wanderer's, one by choice, one my destiny. Their chance meeting is brought on by an unfortunate splash...well, it was more like a dunk and save, but nevertheless, Lucian pulls Joss out of the water, saving her from not only drowning but freezing to death during a freak blizzard that has hit Ketchikan, Alaska where he and his family live.
These characters are wonderfully written and you will fall in love with them as well as the rest of the crazy family that Luc belongs to. Lucian is a self-professed introvert who may make a comment or two but is happiest by himself. He doesn't feel like he fits in with his boisterous family, nor has anything to offer as far as some sort of talent. Joss is an exotic beauty who has severe trust issues, problems accepting help (because she does not accept charity), drifting from place to place until she can find someplace that may make her feel like she is home. Their meeting was not traditional by any means, but the attraction is there in full force, they are just going awkwardly about getting to the point. Of course there are pasts that need to be revealed, trust that must be earned, misunderstandings and a lot of understanding that needs to be dealt with.
This is a great story and series and I cannot wait (although I am sad that there are only 8 brothers) until we read the youngest BADD brother's story. I highly recommend this book, this series. 8 people, count them --- 8 gorgeous, hot, successful brothers that will melt your hearts as well as your panties!
Another Badd Brother read and another Badd Brother loved. I can't get enough of this series.
Lucian is by far the quietest and maybe most mysterious Badd Brother. He's been relatively quiet in the previous books and I Jasinda has done a great job in building up his book because well we just don't know too much about him.
In Big Badd Wolf we finally get to know all about Lucian. At first he is still that aloof, sexy man. Quiet, speaks a few words here and there, really I would say the loner of the family. Let me tell you that basically the first chapter of this book gets me engrossed in it immediately.
The circumstances surrounding how Lucian and Joss met is definitely a I need to know more immediately with Lucian jumping in to save her after she falls into the water. What happens from there is a lot of push and pull between these two.
Joss has a story as well that is definitely heart breaking while at the same time it's endearing because the things she goes through well I have no idea how the hell she managed. You'll find out what I mean when you read this book.
The chemistry between these two is definitely there but their personalities and their own issues for lack of a better term do create a bit of a road block for them. It's how they get through it that I loved about these two. They really were the perfect match.
Of course we get the Badd Family throughout this book because well you need to have all of them make appearances. They grew like weeds and their crazy is something that I have completely fallen in love with.
And ermagahdddddd there is one more brother left to go. While I'm excited for Xavier, I'm also not wanting it to end. I'm not ready to let go of these Badd Brothers and the Badd Sisters. Thank god for rereading.
This series is great and if you haven't read them yet go start now. Each book has given you something different while at the same time something familiar if that make sense. If you like some comedy, chemistry, fun and witty banter and a family that you find yourself wanting to visit again and again then this series is a definite must read.
FIVE AMAZING STARS! Another brother bites the dust. This time it is the mysterious one, Lucian. Gah! I've been waiting to read his story since book 1 and let me tell you, Jasinda did not disappoint. She literally outdid herself with this one. I couldn't make myself to put down this book. It was a fabulous read!
Lucian Badd who is mysterious, quiet, brooding and perfection rolled in one package. Plus he is a reader. SCORE! I loved taking a peek into his brain. I adored him!
Joss Mackenzie has a past that haunts her and doesn't let her trust Luce. She meets him in the unexpected of places and burrows a place into his heart.
This book was impeccably written with trademark Jasinda writing style. I'm gonna be so sad when this series ends. I always anticipate the releases of Badd Brothers series. But, I'm happy that there is still Xavier's book left which I'm so excited for. Can't wait for his book! Arc received for review!
Lucian is just in awe of his woman at times, "he sighed. “I’ll make you real mac and cheese for dinner, tonight.” Things sometimes just come out of Joss's mouth, "she rubbed my chest. “You’re pretty damn gorgeous yourself.” A silence between us, comfortable and easy. Joss shifted. “I… um… I have to pee.” She squirmed, consternation on her face. “Like… really bad.” When the Badd family are all together they cray cray, there's no boundaries and that's what makes this series entertaining and me coming back for more.
Seriously? Author Jasinda Wilder has yet done it again!
I am in freaking love love love with another Badd Brother!
Just saying right now if I could clone myself, I would do it 7 times right now and be with every single one of these hot, delicious, vicariously gorgeous Badd men she has created.
Okay, so my cherries are cooling off from all the hotness of Lucian Badd.
He is out of all the brothers so far (we still get one more, Xaiver), the one I can relate to the most.
Yes, every raw emotion Lucian & Joss had in this book, it stuck to me hard because I felt as though I was them.
The not fitting in, the what if's, the silence, it all was very relatable to how many of us feel at times.
Lucian is such a loving bookworm and Joss is his equal. Both Joss & Lucian are holding back with frustration that makes you want to slap some sense into them. Especially Joss. Once finding out why her past haunts her present makes you sympathize for her and fall hard for her too.
Lucian is a lonely lost soul in his crazy family and my heart wants him to find his happy.
Joss literally falls into his life and shows him that focusing on what you want is key to finding his happiness, even if it means having to not be his introvert self anymore and opening up to the ones that love him, including himself.
And yes you will get all of the Badd Brothers making appearances in this story.
Go one click and get ready to go on another Badd adventure!

OH we all need a Badd Brother, even if only in print. These guys are simply too much. And by that I mean too much of everything that is good and possibly a little bit crazy. This book, just like all the Badd Brother books is extremely well written with character that we can relate to as well as learn from. Each in their own way brings something amazing to the table. And that is nothing short of a fact with Lucian and Joss. Lucian may be the 2nd to the youngest but he’s as amazing a character as his crazy big brothers (even if he doesn’t realize it yet).
Lucian is a bit of a loner, even with all his brothers and their women around him. But when he meets Joss through a freak accident, he meets a kindred spirit, another loner who has lived a wandering lifestyle. The problem is neither of them know how to express things or deal with the their current situation or each other.
Lucian, Joss and all the Badd gang are present as the storyline unfolds. A storyline that is raw, vulnerable and sexy. It deals with a lot of emotions both between Lucian and his family and with Joss. This is a definite 5 Star read (cuz that’s all I can give it) in what I would call an amazing 10 Star Series. A series highly recommend everyone one-click the ASAP, you won’t regret it!
This is book 7 of thee series and it totally redeemed the last book! Not that any of the books have been awful. I just felt the twins stories fell off course a bit.
This is second youngest brother Lucian's book. He has intrigued me since the start of the series. Mysterious, quiet, seems like a good guy---nothing like his older brothers. And low and behold....that's how he describes himself in this book. To the point of feeling like something is wrong with him because he isn't like the others.
Joss literally falls into Lucian's life. He saves her from the water. He tries hard to get to know her better but she is skittish. Joss's life the past few years has been incredibly difficult and she doesn't trust easy. She is a tough young lady but has guarded her background and her heart for a long time. But the Badd brother charisma might just allow her to open up and be herself.
A few twists and turns to get to the HEA. This couple is just barely legal so there is some angst to work through. Loved seeing the whole family together. I am dying to get tot he last book of the series--Xavier. It can't come soon enough!

Jasinda, this series, is full of emotions, makes me laugh, how these big outspoken brothers that do not hide what they think. I know it's fiction, and things do not happen like this in the world, but yes there are prominent families out there and get in your face, and understand how you may feel because isn't about caring and loving for each other. Lucian always thought he didn't fit in; his brothers had a purpose., he likes to read and kept to himself away from the drama, quiet, introvert, book lover, a loner. Until one day he saved a woman, that made his world spin out of control. Saving Joss from the cold waters of Ketchikan Alaskan waters. They fought, they are scared of what they feel for each other. When things were too scary, Joss Mackenzie ran, homeless and alone in the world, she couldn't handle this big outspoken family of the Badd Family, it scared her to death. Most of all she was afraid of the feeling she felt for Lucian. When things got out of control for her, she took off and ran; she couldn't handle it any longer. After three months living with them, she finally realized it was finally home. Would she go back or will Joss keep going not having a destination, or would Joss make the call for Badd family to come and get her, so she can go home again to the one place she felt she finally had a purpose to be, Ketchikan Alaska?
Big Badd Wof by Jasinda Wilder is book seven in the Badd Brothers Series. Lucian Badd is the second youngest and he doesn´t fit right in with his loud and overbearing older brothers and his genius younger brother. He´s the quiet one, he feels trapped in his head and the family´s bar. When he rescues a girl from drowning he doesn´t know yet he met his one. Joss Mackenzie is a drifter. She´s homeless, has no family and no plan. She´s had a tragic past, is a bit prickly and tends to running when problems show up. The loud and rambunctious Badds frighten her. And again she runs away. Big Badd Wolf isn´t like the other Badd Brothers books. Yes there´s drama and action, but you can literally taste the despair and loneliness of Lucian and Joss. Both are young but mature beyond their years. I loved reading their story. I love the beautiful words and I connected with the characters on a deep level. I recommend Big Badd Wolf and give 5 stars !!
Where to start, I absolutely love this series and I really can’t get enough of them and Jasinda has done it again with Lucian and Joss. Lucian was the quiet and brooding brother and I couldn’t wait to hear more about him and his story. It’s also great to still find out what’s happening with the other brothers. Joss is someone that has trust issues and Lucian doesn’t trust easy. Both of these characters are fab and I’ve loved reading about them. Joss is homeless and as per the good old Badd family they take her in and welcome her with open arms, give her a place to stay and start her off with a job. Lucian just wants to be with her but also wants to give her the space she needs. The book I’m most looking forward to is Xavier’s story next. Definitely recommend this book
Talk about another 5 star read! I love all of those BADD brothers. Lucian & Joss both have so much to work through as individuals and together, they had a struggle to learn if fighting for them was enough. This book also jumps in with the #metoo movement, it's emotional as hell and so hard to process and think how many women have faced this or worse, just to be ignored, fired, pushed out and not believed. Reading the struggles both Luce and Joss faced proves that we can overcome so much and find out little slice of happiness.

I finished like Sunday with this book, I had to stew a bit over it, maybe stew is not the right word, but I am still kind of feeling it out in my mind, trying to let go, Lucian is really really my fave. Lucian is my most most most favorite Badd Brother ever, I love these Badd men. & the ladies that they fall in love with. Be sure to read my past reviews of each of these books, Xavier's book comes out in April. Can't wait!! ONLY a PreOrder on iBooks. No Amazon, So I will stock them like always!! Even last time I could have swore that Jasinda said that the book was out January ...nope it was February felt like a total goober ...but at least she knows I am totally a huge big gigantic awesome great fan!! There is just something about Lucian ... I must admit I didn't feel Joss was the right fit for Lucian, I think she is the one that has the most baggage or not sure of a better word for life baggage ...she has tons, wow wee!! there is a lot there, I am not sure how some1 would never just let that all go??! ... there I said it ... but by the end I could see why they got together and all that jazz. I guess for me why I felt I so connected with Lucian ... I am not a child of 8 brothers ...I just connected with many of his feelings or thoughts. How he does interact with his brothers and others. I find nothing wrong with that, you have to protect your heart and feelings. Sometimes folks can be so mean and hateful and that scars you for life. Or at least you remember it forever and ever. Not sure about you, but I am still trying to find my true calling. I think I have been most looking forward 2 Lucian & Xavier books most-est. I have loved the other brothers stories but these 2 will be my most favorite, guaranteed!! Must read series!! Loved every moment!! ( ;
The series of Badd Brother books have been such an adventure to go on over the past year. Jasinda has phenomenal writing and seeing how she can unravel each story of the 8 brothers to us, but still be original in their content is just pure perfection. It has been so much fun to see bits and pieces of the brothers throughout each story, and then have the anticipation of waiting for their story to be told. Lucian was no exception. I also love that we get to see into the lives of our favorite Badd Brothers and their significant other as well. It’s always fun to catch up with them after their Epilogue and see where they are.
In Big Badd Wolf we finally see Lucian’s story. Lucian left Alaska to explore the world and never thought he’d end up back in his hometown living and working with his brothers. His story begins as he jumps into the river to save a woman in the middle of winter who has fallen in. He takes her in after her rescue in the middle of a blizzard. Joss has also done a significant amount of traveling over the past few years, but for other reasons from Luce’s. When she finds herself snowed in with 8 Badd Brothers and their significant others, she sees something in their family that she’s been missing, a family. Her story is one of heartbreak and is so gut-wrenching and devastating, when Lucian begins to truly know her, their story becomes one of the best love stories I’ve read. He’s so passionate yet stubborn at times, and she’s his perfect other half. Their chemistry is remarkable from cover to cover.
The Badd series continues to grow and with each new book, we get one more piece of their overall intrigue that is the Badd brothers.
As always, a wonderful, well written story. The seventh book about our Badd Brothers is about Lucian. The brother who feels 'different' than his other brothers. He rescues Joss, and brings her into the Badd family world. Will Joss find herself and love with the help of Lucian and his family? And will she in turn help Lucian find his place in the family and his true calling? Enjoy finding out how their paths finally meet through trust and love. And wait until you read about how our next Badd brother's adventures begin..
Joss stole the show for me this time. I love the Badd family and each book continues to bring more of the pack and continue their family dynamic. Lucian was sweet and I loved that he seemed to understand his connection with Joss right away. The back story for Joss was great - a unique person and experience that I loved. Again the family came with open arms when needed. I truly love the Badd brothers!
OMG! YES! I love Lucian so damn much! SO MUCH! This book was amazeballs. So much better than the twin's books and definitely better than Brock and Claire.
Joss is a homeless woman who had some bad shit happen to her to cause her to be homeless. She's been traveling across Canada for years in anticipation of hitting Alaska. When she finally gets to Alaska, of course, she ends up in Ketchikan where they're in the midst of a horrible blizzard. She falls into the water and is saved by Lucian. Luce brings her back to his family's bar. There she meets the wonderful but overwhelming Badd family. And of course as I said, it's overwhelming af for a girl whose been homeless and on her own for years.
Lucian has got to be damn near at the top of my "how much I love the Badd brothers" list. He was adorable, witty, and when he came out of his shell he was hilarious and super sexy! Being inside his head throughout this whole book was seriously something. The first six books he's so aloof and not really into being a part of the family. But in this book he really grows and starts understanding his family in a whole new light.
I loved Joss and Luce. So damn much my heart hurt! <3
Here's my list in numerical order of who I love the most. :D Sebastian and Dru Lucian and Joss Baxton and Evangeline Zane and Mara Corin and Tate Canaan and Aerie (totally just realized I didn't put in these two's book review where they fell on the list) Brock and Claire
Bast and Dru will probably stay my favorite couple. But I am RIDICULOUSLY excited for Xavier's book! I cannot wait to get into his genius mind!
Omg Jasinda as once done it again! I don’t know how she does it. What an emotional roller coaster. I love the Badd brothers I’m so happy that there’s going to be 8 books. I can’t wait to read the next one.
Lucian is such an amazing guy he’s the second youngest brother and your absolutely going to fall in love with him when you read this book. Lucian didn’t really fit in with his other brothers he was quite and reserved. When he had the chance to leave he did an didn’t look back, until he had to return home.
Joss as been running from her past for years but it’s slowly creeping up on her. When she meets Lucian her world is flipped upside down. But in a good way.
I’m so happy that all the Badd men made an appearance in this book. I don’t know who I love more. I do know that I love them all for different reasons. These mean are all just amazing.

Do you ever read a book and think... “Wow, these characters were made for me?” It felt like Jasinda Wilder reached into my heart and pulled out the perfect characters to relate to me at this time. Surprisingly, I really connected with Lucian. I have a large family too. We’re wild and loud; they’re all so outgoing and crazy... did I mention crazy? Lucian has always felt different, the odd man out in his family. He’s seriously an introvert living in an extroverts world, queue my panic attacks! Lol
Lucian and Joss are just the baddest of the Badd’s. The bookworm in me swooned at all the book love in these pages. I loved Joss, hard, but there were sometimes I wanted to shake some sense into that woman! Once we get clues into her past, it’s a bit more understandable and it all made me just adore her more!!! So once Joss fell into Lucian’s life, everything is set off-kilter. I was a little worried that Wilder was going to give us insta-love way too fast and way too hard. I’m not sure what I was thinking, nobody ever tells a story more real than Wilder does. So yeah, we might have this instantaneous, highly-flammable chemistry right off the bat but Jasinda slows it down to a simmer. She builds on this relationship and what she gives us is what has to be my absolute favorite Badd man (yeah, I know, we still have one to go). To date, this book is the Baddest one and I mean that in the best way possible!!
Wilder’s writing is completely flawless. The storyline and plot were so fantastic and relatable that I finished Big Badd Wolf within 24 hours. Once you start on Lucian’s story, you’ll be addicted, consumed!! There were so many quotes that were purely golden. One of the best things about this Badd series is the sense of family, of love, of being accepted for who you are. It totally helps that we get to check in on couples from previous books. I love those little sneak peeks! I don’t know what to do or thing with this series winding down, maybe we’ll get a second generation series out of her?!?
I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I will leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just... my opinions.
Jasinda Wilder is about to be one of my favorite authors no joke! This book was awesome I loved it so much! This book was hot but unlike the first two books that I have read this one was more of a super slow burn. Due to the situations between the both characters you realize at the end why it took so long for anything serious to go down SO this book is about Lucian who is the strong but super silent type in the Badd family. He just so happens to be walking to the bar in the middle of a blizzard when a loud splash by the pier sends him running, lucky he did or Joss would have not made it. He rescues her from drowning and then brings her back to the apartment to get her warm and I would be able to say from reading that they pretty much fall in love right then but of course neither one of them wants to admit it. Joss is running from everything, being homeless and not having any real goal or destination in life she has literally walked across Canada and ended up in Alaska. She is determined not to let anyone in. Not to trust anyone. Because of all that she experienced on the road. I will say when I first starting reading the book Joss was so harsh, so wishy washy. I had a hard time connecting with her but once I got further into the book I began to understand the problems.
Another Badd brother down and it was a doozie. Lucian was always the quite one of the Badd brood but getting to see this side of him was something special. The author touches on some heavy things and while my heart ached I think she did an amazing happy b at pulling all my emotions full circle on this book.
Lucian and Joss are really cute together. Even when they are at their wits end, I could feel that simmering attraction that pulls them together. The plot was fast paced, amazing cameos from our favorite characters through out the series and an amazing steam factor.
I did feel like things in Joss’ past were a little too glossed over. I don’t feel like I got the closure I needed when it came to her life before. I’m not saying it took away from the story, because it did. For me, I just needed it added in and it wasn’t.... I’m still easily able to give it 4 stars.
I personally can’t wait for baby Badd to get his book. He has been my favorite from the start. I’m sad to see this series come to an end because the author has given us this family that we can connect with. Fingers crossed we don’t have to wait long for Xavier and Low’s book.! 4 Stars #2OCCJD
Oh man...this one really got to me. Lucian seems like the lone wolf within all the Badd brothers, quiet, in the background, slipping in quips of wisdom at needed times. So seeing the woman he would be attracted to was going to be great! Joss was a crazy hot mess. When you hear her back story her being a hot mess makes sense. The Badds overwhelm her, embrace her, accept her and give her a place to be, something she has sorely needed. It's hard to talk about what happened with out spoiling things, but I loved how all the members of the family at different times welcomed Joss with open arms, with out wanted anything in return, how they gave her good advice and helped her step out of different situations.
What I really didn't expect was that in his own way Lucian was a hot mess too. I liked the conversations that Lucian had with his brothers. It made him look at things in a different way, to see himself through others eyes.
When Joss and Lucian finally were honest with themselves and each other things were golden for them. Both managed to find a place to belong within the Badd clan.
I received a free copy of this book from the author.
If you haven't started the Badd Brother series you should. These men are fabulous. This book focuses on Lucian Badd. He's the quiet one in the family of eight men. Six of his eight brothers have found their significant others in prior books. So now it's his turn.
As you can see from the blurb he rescues a woman from the freeeeezing cold Alazkan water. Frostbite central people. Turns out her name is Joss Mackenzie. She's a prickly woman. You'll see.
These two killed me. I couldn't decide if I wanted to laugh or strangle. HA! I mean really. They're both nomads. Traveling the earth trying to find their way. Until they meet in Alaska. Joss has a lot of hang ups. There's a couple of points about her that I would have loved for the author to address, but didn't.
Anyway - this is another title by Jasinda Wilder that won't disappoint. Check it out.
In this book we come across a different type of challenge. Lucian is the second youngest and seems to be an introvert. He doesnt have a big badd story or history like his brothers, and also doesnt have a passion like all his other brothers seem to have found. What he does have is his privacy and a hard time trusting others. It was refreshing to see his personal growth and how he found himself in this book, with the help of Joss of course. Joss is a homeless drifter who just doesnt have a place to call home. We find out so much about her as a person through the back and forth, push and pull she has with Lucian. She cannot admit to herself some of the things that have happened have changed her. Thankfully with the big Badd family, they are able to show her what a true loving family can look, feel, and sound like. It never ceases to amaze me how accepting the family is including the wives, especially Dru. Well she was the first after all lol
That was fanfreakingtastic.............................. if I could give it ten stars, I would! I’m soooooo glad Lucien had his chance at love..... at first, I wasn’t sure if Joss was the one for him. But of course I was wrong. Two peas in a pod is the best way to describe them. Identically and perfectly paired with all the bells and issues. It was exactly, if not more, of what I expected from a Badd Brother. I loved it from beginning to end. I’m really anxiously awaiting Xavier’s book. Exceptional read.
I love Lucian and Joss! The chemistry between tgese two was off the charts right from the start..but soon enough we get to know more about both Joss and Luce and all the feelings come to the surface, all the insecurities and all their issues with themselves, family and all they have been through..there's this pull and push going on and it kept me glued to the kindle. It's not always happy, there's baggage, but it made me cheer all the more for them! The Badd family is just as entertaining as always and I can't wait for Xavier's story!
I must say, I love wolves, love the name Lucian, and I loved this story! There were a few more things I loved about this book, but you'll have to read Big Badd Wolf and let me know what were yours!
As always, Jasinda fails to disappoint!
An incredible read!
I quite enjoyed reading about Lucian and Joss. I loved how Lucian was just a bit different from the rest of his brothers. I enjoyed seeing how he grows and seeing that he is a special part of the Badd clan.
Joss is a special person on her own as well. Very independent. I love how she finds her place and her journey as well.
