Kit Morgan, aka Geralyn Beauchamp, has been writing for fun all of her life. When writing as Geralyn Beauchamp, her books are epic, adventurous, romantic fantasy at its best. When writing as Kit Morgan they are whimsical, fun, inspirational sweet and clean stories that depict a strong sense of family and community. 'His Prairie Princess' is the first of the Prairie Brides books and the first in the series of a long line of stories about Clear Creek, Oregon. One of the wackiest little towns in the old west! NOTE: Hi folks, it has come to my attention there is an erotica book floating around out there written under the name Kit Morgan. IT IS NOT MY BOOK! I do not, and never will, write in that genre.
Hero: Jonathan ----- Heroine: Massie plot/storyline:4.5* solid and well developed as the two battle fear and loneliness due to familial situations. Ending-4.5*- An endearing HEA. Reading Enjoyment:4.* I enjoyed reading this sweet story with familiar characters that find happiness. How these characters who are similary broken become whole through love,patience and a shoved in the right direction. The dialogue is loving and kind with real emotions .
It is good to see familiar characters find happiness. The town of Cutter Creek has some wonderful caring inhabitants. The dialogue is loving and kind. The emotions are real. Readers will feel the anguish of pain and the joy of love.
This story is a good one but it faces fear. Maisie’s mother had a condition that I’m familiar with because my own mother had agoraphobia. But it can be conquered and healing achieved. Jonathan helped Maisie with her mother and we had a fine ending.
Fear and aloneness spark different wounds in these characters yet with love,patience and a shove in the right direction they will find their forever. Very well done.
I am so happy to have Johnathon back in the series, he was one of my favorite characters in Aggie’s story, and Maisie really is the perfect girl for him.
1=dnf / why bother?; 2=not to my taste; 3=A good story; 4=I liked it a lot; 5=a favorite must-read!
Jonathan Bridger has escaped the lunatic asylum that is his family and set out on his own. You'll be familiar with the Bridger family if you've read Kit's "Clear Creek" series. 'Nough said. I will say that I bust out laughing whenever any of Kit's characters make pies (yes, plural). This is a delightful book from cover to cover. Enjoy!
