An excellent book! I liked how it was written in simple form, enough for a self taught photographer to understand, and with enough information to have a good understanding of digital photography. I will recommend this book to self taught photographers and to experienced photographers who are still struggling with some points of their understanding of digital photography.
I love that the author liberally sprinkled links to websites, training materials, books by other authors and more throughout his books. He does not claim to be the best source of information and helps you find more. This book and his others offer a lot of excellent information in their own right and put you on the path to even more.
Easy to follow topics that give you both the how and why ! A great book for those of us wanting to advance our photo taking skills. Well worth every penny to purchase. I now own four books and will continue buying from mr. Judge .
I'm certainly not a professional photographer and actually knew little more than POS but now I'm confident that I can use my new DSLR to create some new art.
