Shakia is a lady in her twenties who made a decision at the tender age of 13 that puts her on an unexpected journey of self-discovery. A journey where she encounters challenging situations and tempting people, both of which bring forth great confusion. She knows that she wants to hold off on sex until marriage, but is trying to find out how to stay true to that decision while dating, being overcome with loneliness, and fighting against sexual temptation. She is determined to stay true to her decision, but in doing so she is placed in some provoking situations. With each experience great lessons are discovered, producing feelings of empowerment, pride, and confidence in her decision. Shakia shares transparent stories of situations she has found herself in and goes into detail as to what she learned; providing the reader with helpful tips when faced with those same situations.

Great book to help any believer on their abstinence journey. This book is told in multiple perspectives and offers lots of tips and tricks to stay the course.
