Arcadia was prepared to die alone, working boring temp jobs and eating cereal out of the box, until the time came that her heart finally gave out.
But a chance meeting on the subway changes everything. Now she's shacked up with not one guy, but seven intriguing men who are as sexy as well...sin.
But she'll soon discover that there is more to the guys than their attractive appearance. Their meeting was not as happenstance as she was led to believe. Arcadia will have to make a choice: boring safety or sexy adventure?

This is a reverse harem serial that will be released in 25k word instalments.
Recommended for 18+ as it contains some pantie-melting sex scenes.

When I was nine, my grandmother and her friends used to read and swap Harlequin Mills and Boons novels. When I was busted reading one, they started sneaking me boxes full of strong heroines and rugged men. Thus started a long love affair with the romance genre.

Then I discovered urban fantasy, and fell in love with broody Alphas and sexy paranormals, and combining them together was a no brainer.

Then I discovered Reverse Harem.... Oh my. Why choose, am I right?

Spoilers ahead

This covers the four parts that make up the story of Acardia and her men

Acadia is a human who's dying, she's saved during an accident on the subway and is introduced to 7 men who embody the 7 deadly sins. Due to a deal with the powerhouses these men who were not good men in their time are offered the opportunity for redemption and Acardia is their chance. As she quickly grows to love these men time works against them as Acardia gets sick once again. What should've been happy news comes with devastating consequences as Acadia's body starts to fail. Now it's up to the Devil, some fallen angels and maybe a little higher power to save Acadia's life.

********
Whew this was tough, there really wasn't much relationship development even with this spread out over 4 short books.
It threw me off to have Ace and her guys starring as Acadia lay in a coma, I really didn't need those sex scenes
Everything just felt choppy and rushed, like the book was stuck on fast forward.
We didn't even get sexy times with her and some of the guys
Weird man

I'm mighty offended that they only had the two kids? Ugh

This didn't quite work for me so much so I'm not moving on to the stories of the daughters.....for now at least

Good but some reservations

It's a good read and yes I'd read the future installments of this series but I have 2 qualms with this story which hopefully will be cleared up in the next few books.

1) the length 😓 so many serials are coming out and I don't know why, because the majority of readers don't seem to really enjoy them due to the length. I'd MUCH rather prefer a full length book vs these short less then 100 page reads.

2) the club scene where Cady is with Lux and Ri ... so Ri loses sight of her in the club while they were dancing making her a target for some a-holes to prey on... I really hope Ri felt guilty for not keeping a better eye on "their girl" because the book left me feeling as if he didn't care and also that he didn't want a monogamous relationship with her. It left me with a bitter taste in my mouth in regards to Ri, so much so that if it doesn't get resolved in the next book I more then likely won't read this series anymore.

Other then those 2 things (which for me are usually deal breakers) the "serial" was well written with good characters and a refreshing plot and will be a great addition to the RH genre once all the full story has been completed.

I started The Redeemable series because I loved so much the Damnation MC series and I wanted to learn more about the background of some of the characters that cross over in that series.
However, I was slightly disappointed. I don't mind that Arcadia and her guys' story is composed of four short parts. But I felt like everything happened too fast and Arcadia was too accepting.
Arcadia is saved from an incoming subway train by a guy. She blanks out and wakes up at the guy's home. Here she meets 6 other guys who ask her to live with them out of the blue and then they let her know they are the seven deadly sins and she's their chance to be redeemed. Arcadia accepts everything so easily. She doesn't have much left to live as she's sick and she decides to take a chance. The story ends with a cliffhanger.

Great intro novella

I always love most fiction based on the seven deadly sins, and this is no exception. It will be interesting to see where this goes.

I don't know what to say. This book was amazing, I read all 4 in one night, I couldn't put it down. I laughed.. A LOT., and cried and was angry... ugh it put me through the ringer but I was in love with every character... I even loved the devil himself!!
I would give this 6 stars if I could!

I really REALLY wanted to like this book. It was posted in a RH facebook group and the premise sounded alot like S.L. Jennings' Se7en series (which I loved), so I bought the box set. It started off great, but I kept thinking "I feel like I've read this before". It's been a few years since I read the Se7en series, but it was uncannily similar at the start!

I feel like the author had a great idea, but rushed the story to get it out. There was so much focus on Arcadia's 'illness' when the book could have been so much better if the author would have spent any time at all on redeeming the seven guys instead of how weak and useless Arcadia is. It's like the author just skipped over the whole plot reasons for them being together in the first place and forgot to develop that part of the story. So what, as soon as Arcadia steps into the house and the guys all realize she's the predestined person who is supposed to save them they completely change the focus of their entire previous lives and the one's they have lived over the past 10 years just because she showed up, no questions asked, no difficulty changing patterns? I'm all for a good smutty RH book with sexy-time galore, but I didn't get a connection to any of the guys (I honestly still confuse Sam and Tolliver because the author never took the time to really develop the characters) and the sex scenes fell flat to me (when she was allowed to have sex with them). Also, why take a RH book and give the MC a condition where she can't have sex with her harem?? There was no conflict (other than her illness) and this could have really been explored in trying to redeem the guys and this could have been where the character development and connections happened, no romance, no falling in love just insta-love so we can jump to the sexy-time (oh wait...), no exploring who the guys really were other than a few paragraph backstory, and what they needed to do to be redeemed. She just makes suggestions about 'maybe this will work' and it's like doing the opposite of what sent them to hell in the first place never dawned on them. On that note, so Eli just says "I've had too much pride to realize I couldn't save her" and God takes pity on them, ("oh it's a miracle") and she's saved? Come on! There was so much more to work with! Then her story is all wrapped up in a tight little bow in the form of one tiny chapter? They moved out to the country and all lived happily ever after?

I never DNF books, but I found myself really not wanting to read anymore at a point maybe 30% into the book and it was a struggle to keep myself interested. Maybe if I hadn't read the Se7en series first and had an amazing experience with that book I could have enjoyed it more, but I just couldn't. Not sure if I'll read the other 2 books in the series, I am curious to see if it gets better, but my TBR list is way too long to spend days reading books I'm not really interested in.

1/4 Parts. Cute story. I feel like I'm just like Arcadia, being told these seven hot immortal men want to give me my own nice apartment, try to help me with my failing heart, and among other things, SEX. I would also be like, yeah sounds great, now bring on the next course my hot home chef! Ooh I'm feeling woozy, please check my temperature with your dick, good doctor Eli.

Like, I wouldn't question it at all. In this economy?

The Redeemable (# part 1)
The Redeemable (# part 2)
The Redeemable (# part 3)
By Grace McGinty

The Redeemable is a four part reverse harem series. I am absolutely loving this series. What a great concept!

The Main Character Arcadia is a bit of a disaster, she’s lonely, eating cereal for dinner, stuck in a dead end job, and oh yeah she’s dying. She’s fortunate enough to bump into two hot guys on the subway. Somehow she finds herself immersed in their strange world; living with them and five other handsome men. These seven men are also the physical embodiment of the seven deadly sins. Arcadia discovers she is not boring but she’s actually really special, she’s the seven sins saviour, their soul Redeemer. She also happens to have a sarky Angel living inside her, who is coincidently lucifers long lost love. Weird I know! There’s so much craziness in this story but it just works.

As well as being dramatic, sexy, engrossing, it’s also hilarious at points.
Ace, Arcadia’s Angel has a smart mouth and her inner monologue heard only in
Arcadia’s head is funny. Ace along with Oz are probably my favourite characters. Oz is the really down to earth of all the seven guys. His backstory is sad and I felt so sorry for him, it did bring a tear to my eye; could happen to any of us. He comes across as a really likeable character, and seems like he is truly in love with Arcadia not just using her because she’s can redeem their souls.

I love all the characters, even Lucifer! All of them have a backstory that relates to their sin; I can’t quite believe they are the same people that were punished to live as the embodiment of their sin. But I suppose living with their sins and having to relive would change and mature anyone. I think perhaps it’s a lesson for us all, that people can change, be given second chances and forgiven?

Wow the end of book 3......what? OMG Grace McGinty Why? Why? Why? What an amazing cliff hanger on both book 2 and 3. I’m chomping at the bit to get to book 4 now; I need my seven sin fix....

Absolutely fabulous series, it’s quite a quick read, witty, sexy, romantic and dramatic, would definitely recommend if that’s the kind of thing you are looking for. 5/5 stars

I recently decided to explore RH harem books and, had this been my first introduction to the genre, I can confidently say that I would have stopped altogether. The story moved way too fast and lacked some critical development for me. For instance, the book opens with MC Cady trying to catch a train and getting swept up in a subway fight, causing her to pass out. She wakes up and immediately finds herself in the living room of seven, gorgeous guys who are smitten with her and already inviting her to live with them. Cady doesn’t spend much time contemplating what to do and pretty much jumps in with both feet. Had this author spent more time explaining what Cady was doing, and perhaps more time developing the relationship between the seven boys and Cady, I would’ve enjoyed the story more. Instead, I’m left with a sour taste in my mouth, disappointed that our MC would so willingly throw herself into this situation without so much as a chapter of development between the characters (before making her decision, of course). Won’t be reading the rest of this series, but would be open to trying another book by this author, one that hopefully has more character development.

I really liked the premise of This book. Cady is the one person who can redeem these seven men but she doesn't know how. It's also helpful that they are all attractive and want her too. After she meets lux her world is turned upside down. I thought it was original and well written. I'm just sad that I have to wait to find out what happens to cady.

"I mentally scrabbled for any knowledge I had on the Seven Deadly Sins. Lust, Wrath, Sloth... Bashful? No that was one of the Seven Dwarfs."

jfc, that was the funniest thing ever. I'd really like to read more from this one :)

Living with sin has never looked so good.
Monsters are real, ghosts are real too.
They live inside us, and sometimes, they win.

- Steven KingBeing that this is book one of the four part serial (not series) I can't wait for more 'Snow White and the Seven Buff Dwarfs' porn edition - best. description. ever. - thank you Grace

Cady has two years to live and is simply trying to make it through her last days. Then a chance encounter with some devilishly handsome brooding men on the subway platform changes the course of her life.

Ace, Cady's internal voice, is hesitant of the men especially when they invite Cady to move in having known her for less than 24 hours. And while unbelievable, Cady takes a leap of faith and agrees. I mean she's alone in the world and dying after all, so what's she got to loose?! Then things take are turn and she learns that she is the Redeemer these 7 men have been seeking, for she is immune to their sins.

Enter her new housemates. It's not as creepy as you think they own the building and all have their own floors, including Cady who gets the pool house.
- Pride goes to Eli the elite neurosu He takes without apology. Just like I knew he would.
- The phenomenal cook of the group is the glutton Valery who owns Epicurean.
- And then there's Oz the resident tech genius who "fills out his Levi's like a boss" and is saddled with sloth.

Now imagine that all these men are willing to take care of you hand and foot, cherish you, protect you, and above all else pleasure you to no end. That's what you start to experience in this book. There's a hell of a cliff-hanger so make sure you have time to jump right into the next book.

Wow. For such a short book, the author really packed a lot in!

General Gist: Cady (Arcadia) meets 7 guys, and it's pretty much instant attraction/lust/love with each of them in different ways. They dote on her constantly, and are prepared to shower her with the unimaginable, in return for her help of course.

I love the length of this book, and think it lends itself well to the fast pace of the story. There are a lot of little scenes that flow incredibly naturally from one to the next, and I'm kind of happy for the no none-sense style that Grace McGinty has taken with her story telling here.

My only qualm with the book is the serious tally of typos. They're small - like; writing 'I' instead of 'it', or 'of' in stead of 'on'. So they do bring you away from the fantasy as your brain tries to decipher which word is actually suppose to be written. But other than that, this book is super easy to read and well-paced.

--Rating - 4 stars - it would've been 5, but too many typos.
--Steam - 4 stars - it's crazy the amount of build-up, steam, and fun times are packed into this book, but the one 'full' scene, was so short it pretty much didn't happen. For who he is (which you'll discover in the book) you'd think he could last a lot longer.
--Storyline - 5 stars - very unique!
--Plot Twists - 4 stars - holy crap, there's a lot of twists and turns in this book. How the heck did Grace fit all that in there?
--Emotional Pull - 2 stars - you'll have a lot of heart pounding, heated moments, and one angry moment, but otherwise it's a pretty neutral read. No tears here.
--Writing - 5 stars - very comfortable to read and the story flows very naturally.
--Denouement - 3 stars - we do get a lot of answers in the end, but we've also discovered more questions.
--Cliffhanger? - yes
--HEA? - yes, but it's not like it's a book-ending-HEA...we're just not ending on a sad/angry/suspenseful cliffhanger here.

The premise was good - can the human embodiments of the seven deadly sins be saved by the love of one girl.

Not gonna lie, the first quarter read like wish fulfillment fanfiction. A broke girl with medical bills is invited to live, rent-free with seven gorgeous guys in a NYC mansion. Not just that, but they feed her gourmet food, buy her clothing, and basically take care of all of her needs.

As the book went on, it began to gain some depth. I did enjoy the Robin Hood Ninja subplot.

There were a lot of negatives as well.
- The harem felt majorly unbalanced. Oz got the most page time and clearly was the author's favorite, while poor Valery was stuck in the kitchen the entire time and never even got laid for his troubles.
- I think what bothers me is that I felt the emotional depth from all of these MMCs, which only made it stand out more that their emotional needs were being neglected. Like Ri was having an emotional crises and it was just shrugged off. Not even a conversation to reassure him.
- Not only did the pregnancy completely take over the narrative, but it started to feel as if this book's entire purpose was to set up a backstory for later books.
- Ace's POV put Arcadia's to shame. It was like everything good was saved up for the end, and given to a different character to narrate.

Faith, love and a little bit of pixie dust

When a girl's knocking on heaven's door, who better to run into than the 7 deadly sins? Dying, alone and on a New York subway, Cady runs into 2 of the 7 and rescue her from imminent doom. Waking up she is introduced to the rest. Considering she has a voice in her head, Ace, hearing that the guys are all the walking dead may be a shock but not the strangest thing she's heard. Learning that she's their redemption, though, and that her heart is on a countdown doesn't leave any of them reassured.

I am in love with this story line. I'm not much for theology, more a mythology kind of reader, but the baseline for this new series is pretty amazing. But, aside from the sins, and an interesting key player that pops up right at the cliffhanger ending, this isn't a biblical novella. What it is is fun, snarky, hilarious and highly enjoyable. Seeing pixie sized Cady, with her sidekick Ace, lead the guys around is priceless. Sure, she may be dying, short and half crazy (the jury is still out on Ace) but she's no pushover. Certainly not when souls are on the line.

Great new take on the seven deadly sins

I absolutely love this new take on the seven deadly sins, one of my favorite things to read fiction takes on, and this is definitely one of my favorites so far. I'm not a fan of unexplainable instant feelings though and did not enjoy that even if the magic of paranormal aspect is supposed to explain it, it was just to instant, too quick to jump straight into it, especially for a woman that is supposed to counter balance the sins. That being said, it was an enjoyable premise and I really liked Grace McGinty's writing style and creative mind. I very much look forward to reading other works from her and will definitely be continuing with whatever comes next in this series, because that cliffhanger was just too good not to keep me drawn in!

I was intrigue. Until the heroine was invited to live with the guys who she just met the same day. Yes, she moved in with strangers. The Same day.

Aside from that; these are the guys:
"Eli was an elite neurosurgeon. Tolliver and Sam were both highly paid models who flew all over the world together. Lux was a champion UFC fighter and Valery owned a famous restaurant in Brooklyn. I wasn't sure what Oz did except fill out his Levi's like a boss."

All around hotness that has me wanting to read more, and for such a short story (79 pages) it was not bad. So yes, I'm still intrigue.

I liked this book. It went into a direction that I didn’t see coming and there were quite a few twists and turns. I also liked the characters and felt like they had a lot of dimensions and things that made them different from one another.

My problem with this book is that it felt extremely rushed. We got a whole lot of development for different characters in a book that’s fairly small. It makes their development and the relationships being formed come off quick and almost insta-lovey. I think this book would be 10 times better if the author just slowed things down.

Love Grace Mcginty's Writing and am always more than keen to read her words and this series is no different.
Cady was orphaned young and unfortunately has more struggles to face. She has a chance encounter with some strapping young men but she has a moment and ends up back at their place where those two straping young men turn into 7 strapping young men and the Devil.. oh and a little hitchhiker to boot.
This story is fantastic and not what i was expecting I cannot wait to Start on the next book to see where this world takes me.

What frustrates me to no end is when an author writes about states in the US and doesn’t live here. This is my second book and I like the story but get lost when she uses words for things that we do not or describes something completely wrong. Ex. One of her books talks about someone being from the south but she is from New Mexico! That is so not the south. In this book there are a few but one that sticks out is referring to a hospital/surgery room as a theater? If you need help with this maybe reach out to Americans or write about where you are from!?

This review is for The Redeemable Part One - which is really just the first quarter of the story.

I finished Part One and DNF'd at Part Two. Part One was over the top insta lust and rushed life choices because the men are pretty. I stuck through and went to Part Two because I thought the premise had potential, but ultimately couldn't get past the lack of meaningful development between the characters.

Additionally, get a better copy editor. Lots of small grammatical, vocab, etc mistakes added a smidge of frustration.

The concept of this book was what drew me in. I found it super interesting and unique - original! I’ve literally never read a story with a premise like this before.

It’s quite quick moving in the relationship department, but if you can understand that a part of it has to do with fate and destiny then it make sense!

It was a captivating and enjoyable read, and a lot of good lovin in there too! 😂😉🤪

My attention waved towards the end there a bit, but came back around in the last 50 pages or so.

Not a bad read at all!

I loved this story! It was such an interesting take on the seven deadly sins.
Cady is an intriguing lead. I really do like her. And I want to find out more about Ava.
The men are very interesting as well, and I look forward to finding out more about each of their histories.
The ending was quite a cliffhanger though, so definitely be prepared for that one.
Overall, I really liked this short little novel, and I will definitely be continuing the series.

This is a 4 part series, so I decided to leave my review with Part 1 so you could decide whether to read it or not.

It was a rough start for me, at first I just wasn't buying into the story. Not the reverse harem part, but the background story that brought them all together. It just seemed rushed and "flighty".

But I powered through and just towards the end, the story captured me. I powered through the remaining books, the emotional story and the beautiful things that happened along the way (no spoilers) It was definitely worth picking this series up. If you can overlook the small proofreading errors, I think you will enjoy this particular journey.
