Ms. Nwokolo is a registered pharmacist. She studied fashion accessory design at the Fashion Institute of Technology, New York and is the designer of the Princess Omalie dolls, a line of beautiful, 11.5 inch African American Princess dolls. She confesses her attraction to this line of business is because of what she did not have growing up. Toys were not a part of her childhood. She never saw, what more owned a doll that looked like her. She turned her attention to books instead and became a voracious reader. Books took her places she never imagined and opened her mind to endless possibilities. It gave her the strength to dream. The dream to become a writer, is one she has achieved. To date she has published six books, all geared to children. The Power kid Series is about a young boy and his alter ego who helped him overcome bullying. In the Princess Omalie series Ms. Nwokolo is living her second childhood.
