A great short story. There is not much deduction in the story, but what makes this story really great it shows Holmes more human side. He is a character who dispenses justice above all else. I also like Paul D. Gilbert's building up of Watson he is a teammate not a lackey. A great little story on Halloween that not only shows the spirits at work, but the inequality of the era.
