Typical alternative Archie Universe. Jughead has turned into a werewolf and has left Riverdale to keep everyone safe. The art is cool and we do get to see Hotdog some.

I love the other two Archie horror titles. But so far I am not into this one. I might read more of it when it becomes a collected edition.

Feeling for Jughead

This was a good continuation of the story after an interesting start. The artwork is great the dialogue works for the characters as far as their roles in this universe.

I have to say that I do not like Betty Cooper and that is something since she was one of the most likable characters in the past. Archie is just Archie, kind of following along and not really being very assertive, but then he has always been a bit low key. I do feel for Bighead who is a nice guy in a bad situation and not all the facts.

Things are bound to get more interesting as we go on. Enjoy this scary version of the Riverdale teend.

I was expecting this to be just the picture version of A Werewolf in Riverdale so I figured it'd be fun as a quick read because it's as Instant Borrow on Hoopla(meaning I can borrow it without it counting against the fact that we only get 8 borrows a month) and I have a snoring puppy next to me but needed a break from Only Mostly Devastated lol. Instead this happens AFTER the end of A Werewolf In a Riverdale which kinda sucks because I liked the ending of that and didn't want them to bring Jugwolf back. Also Jugwolf running away to the circus doesn't interest me as someone who hates the circus but it's not horrible. The art is great. I don't recommend if you're me but if you didn't like the end of A Werewolf In Riverdale then I guess check this out to see where it goes lol

I was happy to learn that the one shot of this story got to be picked up as a series. The first issue continues exactly where we last stopped. If you haven't read the previous issue, do it now. This is a fun continuation, showing us where Jughead left after fleeing Betty and Archie finding out he is cursed as a werewolf and he was responsible for all the murders at riverdale. Now he is hiding while Betty and Archie are hunting him. As far as it goes, its fine, the new artwork picks up where the previous artist gone with, but it feels less... I dont know, horrificaly artisitc for me and more cartoonishly grusome?

Anyway, it's a good issue. Go read it!~

It is a testament to how much I love the Archie horror line that I used one of my precious six-per-month Hoopla checkouts to read a SINGLE ISSUE of this comic.

It's just as good as Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and Afterlife with Archie thus far. I am forcing myself to wait for the trade to come out and it is painful.

This was definitely different!! I got it for free when I went to my local comic store today :') the manager was apparently handing them out at his house on Halloween and didn't get too many trick or treaters.
It's a Jughead comic (regrettably the first I've ever read) and I can't say I was disappointed, definitely had a tiny bit of gore in it, but it was alright! I may continue on with this.

Awwww hellll yeaahhhhhh

If you didn't get a hold of the one-shot, just know this is more an issue #2. They catch you up alright, but you know, the experience is all the better.

Jughead Jones, what are you gonna do.

I am really digging this series. I'm so glad they decided to expand the story past the one-shot. Archie Horror are great storytellers, and I hope they continue with coming out with these stories.

Yikes.. More Wolves

Holy crap. Never read such a dark spin on comics!!! AND THOSE GRAPHICS. THATS INTENSE. Almost too much blood. Yikes.

Not since Lawrence Talbot has there been a more morose unfortunate victim of lycanthropy. NOT for children or the faint of heart.

Juggie is a wolf?

So, Jughead is a werewolf and Betty is a werewolf hunter. Jug is on the run and stops briefly at a circus. Jug killed Reggie, but he came back and is at Ronnie’s.

I used to read Archie comics, so I find it fascinating and fun to see it through this supernatural horror lens. Love it and can't wait to pick up the full volume!
