Poorly written regurgitation of other writers

When I read this, I wasn’t looking for a magic fix that would turn me into a scratch golfer. I was expecting a well-written piece with a few insights from someone who has turned their game around. However, there is nothing here that you won’t get from any other golf writer. The problem is that it is extremely poorly written with multiple grammatical errors and poor sentence construction. I was originally going to give 2 stars and move on. After all, we aren’t all professional writers as well as scratch golfers. Imagine my surprise when I checked out the author’s website where he, astonishly, touts himself as a professional golf writer! I had no choice but to come back, reduce my assessment to 1 star and warn prospective clients to read this poorly written material before committing themselves to anything.

Some great tips to keep in mind

I enjoyed the presentation of ideas and the tips are very easily put into practice.

I’d say that if you pay for a book, you expect an editor has at least removed some of the spelling and typo errors. That is the only reason I can’t give 5 stars.
