Beau Miller believes the worst of the battles are behind him and Phoebe. They’ve found their way together despite the odds and have settled into their new normal. Only, an unexpected discovery will change everything.
Will Beau find the beacon he needs to guide him through the biggest certainty of life?
Purveyor of words. Creator of worlds. Destroyer of feels.
Once upon a time, Michelle worked in a dreary office with only the voices in her head for company. Now, the voices in her head are characters on the page who will break your heart, lift your spirit, and make you feel like you have found new friends.

If you stop to analyze the cover of this last book, it's a dead giveaway of what's to come. This book is the last one of Phoebe Reede's series. I read Declan's series before this one, and I sure recommend readers do the same. Phoebe's story has so much meaning when you know her parent's story. I also recommend to read them in order, or you'll be getting unwanted spoilers. In this book, with Beau's POV, so much happens. So many surprises, heartbreaks, tears (of joy and sadness), acceptance and strength. It's just a really deep story, that left my heart on my throat and tears in my eyes. The whole Reede series was the first work I read by Michelle Irwin. I was first just excited because it all happens in a racing scene, but as I continue reading, it became so much more. It's about family, trust and so much love. It's just filled with raw feeling, so beautiful. After reading each one of them, after the shock of the cliffhangers, I had to stop, stare at nothing and let the words sink in. I really love when a story moves me this much. It makes me so happy to love reading and to find different authors every day.
Moving on, my thoughts on this final book. I actually am finishing this book with divided opinions. At the same time that I am happy for Beau, I am a little heartbroken that As the book was reaching its end, I got the feeling that things became forced between them and I did not quite enjoy as the rest of the series. However, it was the (almost) perfect ending for them.
As I was reading, I still clutched with the idea that something would change. But even then, I knew I had to brace myself for the inevitable.
This was just beautiful. The whole series is really worth the read. I am a changed person after reading that. I felt every emotion and every situation while reading the series and I'm so glad I started it. I can't thank Michelle enough for writing these. I'm forever grateful.
BEACON is the final story in the Phoebe Reede series and, after all the twists and turns and everything Phoebe and Beau have been through, it was definitely hard to say goodbye.
I can’t say much about this book because of spoilers, but I will say this: I was disappointed with how this series ended. Though this story was very beautiful and put me through the wringer, this was definitely not the ending I wanted or was hoping for.
BEACON is a deeply emotional read that will rip your heart out. I was crying on almost every page, so before you start reading it, make sure you have a big supply of tissues at the ready and be prepared to read well into the night. You have been warned.
I was given this book in turn for an honest review.
Despite everything, the love that Beau and Phoebe share has tied their paths together forever. When they felt nothing could tear them apart, life threw them a bombshell that the whole family struggles to overcome. With a blessing, can often come a curse. Can Beau fight enough to survive?
I won’t beat about the bush with Beacon, this book will tear you apart, inside and out! This story completely broke me. To the point that I had to stop reading it and take a break. I couldn’t read for the tears streaming down my face and for the realisation that the characters I had come to love were having their lives ripped apart, once again. I screamed at my kindle, I shouted at the room, and I wanted to throw my kindle out the window; only I love it too much to do any harm to it!
Michelle Irwin has written a master piece with Phoebe Reede the untold story. This series starts out as a beautiful contemporary romance and ends with the reality that life can be so cruel, whilst at the same time showing us that behind every cloud there is a silver lining, it’s just one we don’t always realise is there.
I can’t go into detail without giving away the whole plotline. Although the ending to this series will not be to everyone’s satisfaction, I feel Michelle has given the characters a happy ending, all be it an emotional one. It might not seem it, but if you sit back and think over all six books of the series, you will realise that dreams were achieved, and happiness was found. Michelle Irwin for me, gave her characters a story that is both realistic, and relatable.
Beacon will require a lot of tissues and a lot of hugs. The Phoebe Reede series for me is a master piece; a series I can read time, and time again, and it will still provoke the same emotions out of me. You won’t regret one-clicking this series!

REVIEW
My review won't give this story justice as I would end up giving spoilers. I have read this series from the very beginning first with Phoebe' dad Declan Reede then into her story and watched her grow and go through some serious things in her young life. I watched the love between her and Beau as it had its ups and downs.
This book tore my heart out literally, and I found I honestly cried. It just broke me. I can't say there is a silver lining, but things ended as best they could. The author gave one heck of a strong ending to this series, and I will miss the characters. Absolutely the best in the series.
Damn! For a series that started as a light fluffy coming of age standalone this book ends a series that has been an emotional rollercoaster of love, loss, and HFL (happy for life.) Beacon is aptly named because throughout the storm of emotions the constant light is the love along the way, be it the love of a friend, family or spouse. I won't tell you I laughed and I cried reading this book because for me there were only tears. Ms. Irwin does an amazing job of writing this book with all of the compassion and emotion that the characters of the series deserve. In the end, so I don't let out any spoilers, this book/series pulled me into the Reede/Miller world and held me hostage until the very last word. Thank you Ms. Irwin for an amazing journey with these characters and their story.
The two words that come to me when I started to read this story were WOW and OMG. Michelle Irwin writes this very emotional story with such grace and poise and is a true love story. Take your tissues with you when you start reading the final phase in Phoebe Reede's story.
Sometimes happily doesn’t last ever after.

After reading and loving this series of books by Michelle Irwin it has taken me a few days to take it all in, mull it over in my head and digest this final installment of Phoebe's story. Once I got hold of a copy of this book I was a little reluctant to start reading it as I wasn't quite ready to let go of phoebe and her story that has filled my head and heart with so much happiness and joy but also sadness. It's very hard to review this part of the story without me giving away any spoilers but I will just say to be prepared with lots of tissues, tea and chocolate to help you stay along for the ride of this emotional and heart wrenching final book that kept me awake for most of the night as I had to keep reading and hoping for the story to take a different path. I felt emotionally broken after I finished reading this book and I had the biggest book hangover ever. This series has at times been dark, it's been a little crazy but it's also been a story full of love. Michelle's stories have become kind of an addiction for me as she gives such life to her characters as her writing is so good and you can't help but feel an emotional attachment to them. Im so sad to say goodbye to Phoebe, Beau and Angel and the rest of her family. This has been a brilliant series that I will always love and will read again and again. 5 deeply deserved stars!
After reading the premise of this last chapter in Pheobe's story, I had no idea what to expect. Of course curiosity got the better of me and I had to read the reviews.
Of course being that I read the premise before fully reading the previous books, I had no idea what to expect. That changed when i finished Phantom and started reading Beacon - suddenly every comment and review I read all made sense. *Spoiler Alert* if you've read every book till this in the correct order, you might have an idea of how the story ends...I found that the cover was a dead giveaway as to what we're left with in the end. A perfect and symbolic foreshadowing of what's to come.
As much as I don't want to spoil the story, I have to admit my heart broke with every conversation between Beau and Pheobe. There were times that I was in denial and I tried to anticipate that maybe something different would happen then what it seemed like was already happening. Yet despite the events that follow, you can't help but feel every emotion felt by every character, so deeply.
It's a heartbreaking but beautiful ending to the series. When I finished reading Declan's books I didn't think the stories following could get any better. What I didn't expect was falling in love even more with Michelle's other writings in Pheobe's story. An epic love story that has its highs and lows and was just filled with the perfect balance of hurt and second chances. While many might not be happy with the ending I think there was a beautiful message in the overall story for love that is pure, so kind and true, and never to be forgotten.
I'm not ashamed to admit that I read the entire Untold Story series within a single week. It was that captivating I just could not stop reading to the pboint I had troubles focusing on my day to day life without wondering what was gonna happen next. There was never a question of whether I should click "buy" on my Kindle to get the next book. It was instinctual.
Perfect 5/5 for this series!
If you do end up reading this series, make sure you read it in the proper order and brace yourselves for an epic love story like no other. This will definitely be one of my favourite series of all time.

In the darkness of night find the brightest star for it's the beacon of life and love
Beacon is an ultimate ending to an amazing series. The emotions evoked by the intensity of each situation are astounding. It was not the ending that I was expecting or hoping for but it made so much sense and after looking back was something I should have seen coming. I thoroughly enjoyed following Phoebe through her life's journey throughout the series and the brilliantly sparkling finish in Beacon!
PS- Thank you Michelle for the laughs and ugly cries! And thank you for taking each situation throughout the series with such care and respect while bringing light to the darkness!
This series broke me down, put me back together, and tore me apart again but I saw the ending coming a mile away. Lol. Absolutely fabulous series that has you in your feelings through the whole thing and while you know how this book is going to get there it was still wonderful to read.
