To say his life has been turned upside down would be laughable at best.

In a business where people's livelihoods depend on the decisions he makes every day, Walt Nelson never wanted a life built around anyone but himself. With a fiancée equally versed in self-centeredness, he is living the life he created, until the call that changed everything. Forty-eight hours later, he buried his best friend and became the guardian of his two daughters.

Forced to admit his life is no longer just about him, he hires his brother's personal assistant in a moment of desperation. His goal, to survive this new normal until he can arrange a boarding school for the girls.

The last ten years have kept Samantha Abbott in an endless cycle of regret and sorrow as she slowly rebuilt a life she never wanted- a life alone. When her boss's brother offers her a job that solves her money troubles, her only goal is to put her past behind her. What she gets is a head-on collision between a loss she has yet to survive and a love she doesn’t think she deserves.

This is a story that is an emotional powerhouse. It is deep and poignant, full of emotions, FEELS that will grab you and not let go until literally the very last word. I loved the journey that Walt, Samantha, the girls and their group of friends go on as they all work thru the grief that happened when they lost some dear people in their lives. Out of that grief comes a new situation that they find themselves in and how Walt and the girls handle it, with Samantha is explored is the basis of this story and wow, what a story.
The beginning of the book is really giving you the simmer before we get to the boil- we get Walt and the girls, how they handle the grief and how Walt’s life is changed, along with the girls. And how Samantha is introduced into their lives. Walt and Sam’s romance is not even a simmer at this point but then slowly, starts to simmer as she comes to work for him as a “House Manager”. We get background and we get to fall in love with the characters in the story before the romance is introduced. I fell hard for the kids and oh what precious kids they were. And Walt—oh my-- I , at first, didn’t like Walt. I found him to be a huge jerk but slowly, when reading this story, I saw him thaw out and Walt literally sizzled right off my Kindle with Samantha. Oh the chemistry was right and properly naughty for this couple. When it came to Samantha, I got the feeling there was something going on with Samantha and as the story progressed, the author built up a level of mystery with her. Also, I enjoyed the characters introduced as Sam’s Posse/friends. Then the author introduced this added mystery into the story regarding Sam and the mystery of her past, and the sadness in her eyes…and how she really connected with the children. All I will say is there was several huge twists to this story. And when the explosion happens between Walt and Samantha..wow, I didn’t see that coming.
I enjoyed the mysterious edge this story had, the heartbreak and loss and the reaffirming connections this story gave. I loved the passion and the connections I felt. The only one tiny minor thing I would have liked improved on would have been an epilogue so I would know certain things regarding certain people in this story. Other than that, I loved this story. I don’t think I cried so much or smiled so much while reading this book. Also it was great to see previous characters from this author’s previous book make small cameos.

My Rating: 4.7 stars *****

While this was a romance, it took a while to get there.

Walt is the guardian of his best friend's 2 children, and he needs help. Samantha hits it off with the kids in a way that Walt has not been able to, and he hires her as his nanny, at the urging of his brother Finn.

I was not sure what I thought of Samantha for a lot of the book. I liked her, but at the same time I was not sure about her. I think a lot of this reaction is to the fact that this was not really a romance. It is at the end, and there is a romance...but most of the first half of the book is about the kids and building a family. For me, there was too much of this. Yes, the kids are an important part of the story, and they are causing Walt's life to change, and they represent a loss of a lot of the things in his life, I thought they were too much of a focus.

At first, I thought this was going to be a slow burn, with a lot of smoldering looks and time with one another, sneaking so no one knew. Not really. While there was some of this, I really didn't feel like the romantic story line existed until the 2nd half of the book.

Once we got to the romance between Walt and Samantha, it is a little too late in the book for it to be fully developed. I was left feeling like I got a story about a family that was a romance, but as the secondary storyline. I wanted the character development with Walt and Sam that we got with Sam and the children, and Walt and the group of guys, and with Sam's friends.

I do recommend the title overall, as I did enjoy it...but I think it could have been stronger.

This book! Y’all I cannot even BEGIN TO DESCRIBE the feels I had with this book! It is almost 6am and I can’t even think about sleep now lol! From page one it grabs and doesn’t let you breathe until you turn the page because you know it is the end but you want that darn epilogue because you can’t believe the STORY IS OVER! EPIC stories always make me as a reader crave more lol sighhhh it was such a beautiful heartbreaking journey I cannot believe Poppy and Zinnie as well as Sam and Charlotte went through that and still find joy. I love that bitterness didn’t overtake them and they healed each other by just being in each other’s lives. I def got a GIRL POWER vibe and that women are #strong! Don’t eff with us. Poppy is soooo adorable she is my spirit animal 🦄 .Zinnie is angst and happiness rolled into one #teens lol and....Walt, Finn and the Oxford 5 ooooo wee! They def give Graham and the Dwarves a run for their money! I loved Graham to death but for some reason I feel a pull more towards Walt! Don’t shoot the messenger and I feel like a cheater but seriously this book made me think about about it while I was reading it, when I was , at work, when I get home, before I sleep. It totally consumed me! I can’t wait to re read it and see the next installment come to life :)

This is officially my favorite book by Kj!!!
So many emotions in this book. Personally this book has touched me on many, many levels. And I am happy that i read it. With out giving anything away my very favorite scene was Christmas eve, Once you've read it you'll understand why.
I will say I did not like Walt Nelson at first. BUT he did grow on me. BUT he will or any other book man will replace Graham Taylor...

I'm seriously SO disappointed and disgruntled about this book. I read Mondays with You and LOVED it. This one is nothing compared to that one. I'm actually questioning if it's even the same writer. The characters are two dimensional, the plot is all over the place, she spends more time telling about moments that have happened than letting us actually read and experience them. I think more pages are spent talking about Walt's days are work than anything else. I can't even bring myself to finish it and I only have 60 pages out. Boo, this sucks.

Tuesdays at Six (Sunday Love Book 3) by KJ Lewis is the third book in her Sunday Love series. This book can be read as a standalone but I highly suggest reading the two previous books. This has just become my favorite of this author's books. The emotional roller coaster that it took me on, Wow! This story is about grief and building your life again. One of the things that I love most about this book is how this author was able to start this story out slow and then add to it with each page until you reach the climax of this story. It has been awhile since I have read a book that has been able to do this effectively. This story pulled me in right from the beginning and I didn't put it down until I was finished. This is the story of man, Walt, who thought he had it all until one day when he didn't and finds himself a single father. He is faced with the realization that he can't do this on his own and he needs help. He is just trying to get through day by day. This is where Samantha walks into this families life. She is suffering her own loss. She never thought she would be living her life alone. When Walt offers her a job, she takes it as she needs the money and also put a past to rest. She is now faced with a loss she hasn't moved on from and a new life that she doesn't think she should have. I loved all the characters in this book. I loved seeing the POV of a single father and his grieving process. He is determined to do what is best for his children other then I didn't like him so much as a father. I also think that he was going through a lot that we didn't get to read about because he did all of a sudden have a lot on his plate. I think that Samantha is his light to the darkness. She brings so much to this family but she also has so much with her past too. There were times I wasn't sure what to think of her either but really I think these two are made for each other. I kept hoping that they would heal each other and that there would be a happy ending in their future. There is no doubt that this story will is a heart breaker but also will fill your heart with love. I highly recommend this book, it is the most heartfelt story I have read in awhile and I know you will feel the same.

TUESDAY AT SIX is my first Lewis novel. I was so excited to read this book after reading the blurb. I am all about single dad novels, but throw a man with no idea what he’s doing with kids much less a man who never wanted kids and I AM IN THERE!!!

This novel was awesome. It had everything I look for when I am searching for a new read. Did I think when I started TAS at 11 o’clock at night that I wouldn’t be able to put it down till 4 am? NO!!! I was so wrapped up in the world Lewis created that there was noooo way I could wait till the next day to find out what was happening next.

There’s Walt, a businessman, he knows nothing about kids, and he was in a world of hurt. His best friend had just died and he was left to care for this two people that were most precious to him…his daughters. DUDE! It was comical watching Walt deal with teenage mood swings and tiny tot problems. He tried though, watching their relationship grow and change made my heart warm and happy.

Sam, at first glance I was like noooo, there no way she would be the leading lady, BUT I literally fell in love with her. She was so strong and nurturing. She stepped up and took lead helping the person who was anything but kind to her. She helps the whole family heal.

As for everyone else in the story, I grew to love each and every person. They brought the feeling of family to the book. They weren’t blood, but they took care of each other, they hurt together, they loved together, and they created their own family. The touching moments in the book were everything. Christmas time was MY FAVORITE! So many happy tears.

This book was so much more than I was expecting. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND READ THIS!!!!

I just need to get this out, Tuesdays at Six is officially my favourite book by Kj Lewis!!! I adored this beautiful and emotion packed read. You gave me everything i cried, i laughed, i gripped my kindle with emotions that i choked up on then cried some more!! I was pulled in right from the start and if i'm completely honest i couldn't bring myself to put it down. Nor did i ever want to reach the end, as my emotional journey with Walt, Sam, two beautiful girls and All the FAMILY attached to Walt and Sam would be over. If you have read or after you have read you may say why family?? but to me they truly were a large and extended family. I can and i'm hoping for so many more stories to come from the Oxford four and Finn.

Tuesdays at Six is the third book in the Sunday Love series by K.J Lewis. Wow, what can I say about this book…. I am in love with this author’s writing style and her knack for incredible story-telling. I read this book so quickly, I may have given myself whiplash. I was flipping pages like crazy, trying to absorb the words as quickly as possible. This brilliant story captures love and loss so poignantly- it is a slow burning, emotional and spicy story of second chances- finding what truly matters in life, and the deep and complex love that is found in a soulmate, as well as with friends and family.
I adored this book so much that I am going back to read all of Ms. Lewis’s other books. I can’t wait to read about some of the other characters that make an appearance in this book.
Ms. Lewis broke me in places, before carefully putting me back together again. I loved the connection, camaraderie and tight-knit bond between the two groups of friends- and the bond they all formed together over the course of the story. The two young girls in the story, Zinnie and Poppy, really made the story incredibly endearing. They were written so beautifully. I LOVED Samantha and Walt, their story is sublime, just perfect. I would love to go into massive detail, but I really think this is one of those books that you should jump into completely blind. A wonderful surprise to be discovered, and a story that will stay with you long after reading! Really, what are you waiting for- dive in, you really won’t be disappointed!!
I am excited to read all of Ms. Lewis’ other books!

Thank you, Ms. Lewis!

My Thoughts
I'm annoyed that I put off reading this book for a long-time. I really liked that the book was told from Walt's POV.

I guess the book was a love story of a family coming together. It's a slow-burner but it was great reading about how close Sam and Walt were getting and how they were helping Zinnie and Poppy with the deaths of their family. My only problem was that I felt that the ending was slightly rushed and it could've done with an epilogue for us to see how Walt, Sam and the girls were song 5 years down the line etc.

Tuesdays at Six by Kj Lewis is nothing but perfect. This heart wrenching romance is a must read 5 star book! I could not put this book down and by the end, although the book was the perfect length, I loved these characters so much, I wanted more.

I can say nothing but good things about this book. The storyline is perfect, the characters are amazing, and their chemistry is off the charts. My heart broke for all of the characters but more so for Sam. She is all alone with no family except for her three best friends and struggling to keep it together. I loved it so much when everyone kept telling her she had no idea how it felt to lose someone you love and then when she tells them all her story eventually they all feel like they got punched in the gut.

Walt has just lost his best friend in an accident and is tasked to be his children, Poppy and Zinnie’s legal guardian. I can understand how he would feel lost and ready to ship these girls off somewhere because he is a businessman who can’t even find time for his own personal life, let alone 2 children. His character got on my nerves in the beginning because I felt like he wouldn’t give Sam a chance and tried to see the worst in her every chance he got. When she finally starts to open his eyes, he changes his mind about her completely. It is so nice to watch his feelings for Sam change.

There are a lot of ups and downs. Sam tries her best to juggle working as Walt’s brother’s assistant, going to night classes and watching after Poppy and Zinnie. The changes that come about in all the characters because of Sam is so beautiful. When Walt is forced to make a decision to cut Sam out of their lives, I was devastated, but with some help from his friends they definitely had him pull his head out of his butt and fight for what he loves the most.

The four guys in Walt’s life, his brother Finn, and their best friends Colin, Pierce and Quade are fantastic. I love the way they put Walt in his place and have no problem doing it. I also really love how much they love Poppy and Zinnie, and how much they go out of their way to make sure they are happy. Sam’s three best friends Grace, Zoe and Charlotte are equally as fantastic. They step in and treat the girls with so much love and care as if they have been a part of their lives all along. I am sorry if this review is all over the place, my thoughts are so scattered trying to make sure I convey how completely in love I am with this book. I would 100% recommend everyone read this book. This book will not only showcase on the romance between Sam and Walt but also the emotions of losing a parent or sibling, as well as working through the toughest things in life with a positive attitude. There is so much to learn!

***4 Stars***

This was one of those books that I barely gave a passing glance at when it first popped up, and then at the last minute I ended up signing up to help with the cover reveal and really took a look at the blurb and something about that second look had me putting my name into the pot to hopefully receive an ARC of it and I have to say I am really happy I took that second look. I loved the journey that Walt, Samantha, their girls and their friends went on as they all worked through their grief and the new situation they all find themselves in and how it made them all stronger in the end.

Now, here’s the thing with this book, what I liked the most about it didn’t necessarily have to do with Walt and Samantha’s romance. It probably should have been based on the description and the fact that it falls under the romance genre, but it wasn’t. I really liked Walt and though I had my moments with Samantha, I liked her, but I was more taken with how Walt, the girls, Sam and their friends worked through the loss of their loved ones and became a family. It wasn’t an easy road by any means, but I thoroughly enjoyed watching not only Walt’s evolution, but Zinnia and Poppy’s, with the help of an amazing group of people.

As for Walt and Sam’s romance. While it was there simmering under everything else going on, it never really grabbed me, even when things finally took off between them, because of everything else going on. I liked them together and thought they were actually well matched in a lot of ways, but outside of that I don’t have any strong feelings for or against them.

This is my first KJ Lewis read and I really enjoyed it. The writing was engaging and I liked the pacing of the story. I was a little confused in the beginning as to where the story was actually taking place at, but I think that was more of a “it’s not you, it’s me” issue and got it all worked out quickly. The solo first person POV was done well, and I liked that it was from Walt’s POV, but this is one time when I would have liked to have had Sam’s POV thrown into the mix because it took me awhile to connect with her. But outside of that, I thought the story was well thought out and I really enjoyed the very eclectic cast of secondary characters that populated this story. They were all well written and I’m crossing my toes that they will all be getting their own HEA’s down the road.

This book was amazing!! I had a feeling it was going to be a beautiful story, but it was so much more than I expected.
I can't imagine what is was like for Walt when he found out he was to be the guardian of two little girls, when he didn't even want kids. We start off reading after the girls have been with him for a few months. He thinks he's doing a good job, but the fact that the nanny keeps quitting and Zinnie will barely speak to him tells us differently. Walt is good at making sure they have what they need, but the emotional part of it, still is a mystery. He's still all businessman and that's good for when he's at work. Then add Samantha, his brother's assistant, who steps in when Poppy is sick. Walt doesn't really like her, but when he sees how she connects with the girls and makes them smiles (something Zinnie hasn't done in awhile) he decides to keep her around. As the family manager she makes some changes, some Walt doesn't like, to make the family run smoother. Along the way Walt realizes he starts seeing these girls as his and is falling in love with Samantha. She has her own past two deal with as well. To make the girls feel safe and know that everyone is there for them, she starts dinners, Tuesdays at Six. All of the important people show up and eat together no matter what. While they have their ups and downs, these people grow and grieve together and create their own kind of family.
I loved that the author mixed Walt's business world into the story, but didn't make it run everything. It let us see what he has going on and how he needs to combine everything. The hacking their company went through was rather exciting as well as the security detail for the girls. I get with them being rich, but I don't see why it was mentioned as much. I was waiting for something to happen in that area. That didn't take away from the story though. The way the author wrote this story, made me fall in love with this family. I really grew to care for them and wanted to hug them when they hurt. I loved the whole concept of Tuesdays at Six. Making time for the family to show everyone you're always there for them. That is a good idea to keep for my own family, haha. My only issue is that I want so much more. I want to know how this family moves on and how Zinnie and Poppy do. Finishing this book kind of it made me feel like I was losing people I cared about. Not many authors know how to do that. K.J. Lewis has definitely become a new favorite author.

Talk about a book hangover...I got so fully invested in this story and I'm just heartbroken that it's over. I don't even know where to begin describing this book.
First I'll start with this is my first read by this author, and I honestly don't know why I haven't read any of her books before this, but if how I feel after reading this one is any indication of what her other books will make me feel I will with no doubt about it be reading everything else she has.
I'm not going to go into specifics of what happened in this book. You need to experience them the same way I did. I did not read the synopsis, I also didn't pay any attention to any reviews, and the way it played out felt so real. I loved every character in this book. The friendship bonds were amazing, the bantering back and forth between them all was awesome, but the brother bond between Walt and Finn was probably my favorite part of this whole book. As cold and unfeeling as Walt tried to be, his love for his brother always showed through. Watching Walt transform from who he was before he became guardian of his best friends girls to who he became by the end of the story was written beautifully.
Sams part in this story was no less amazing, and her no nonsense attitude and how she handled Walt was awesome. The twists that occured that explained her past were utterly heartbreaking and I went through my fair share of tissues while all that played out, and watching these 2 young girls having to adjust to losing their parents was handled in a way that literally took my breath away at times. I know I'm being very evasive in this review and its because I really and truly don't know how to do this author justice in explaining this storyline, or explaining how well it was written. It’s said all the time but I'm being completely honest when I say I could not put this book down. The way she took her words and formed them into this amazing story will forever amaze me. I will reread this book often, heck I want to reread it right now and I just finished it.
Do yourself a favor and pick this book up, you will not be sorry!! This is book 3, Im wondering if there will be a book 4, and hoping if there is that maybe Finn will get his own story...I hope so!

I just finished reading Tuesdays at 6 (Sunday Love Book #3), by KJ Lewis.

This one has it all.

Heart wrenching agony, despair, confusion and grief.

But there is also so much love.
It is amazing to think that this is how real life can be - in an essence.
A group of different people, meet at a certain time in their lives and sometimes they just click.
And sometimes, this person, or these people, are just what you needed.
Especially when you didn’t even realize yourself that you needed them.

I love the characters in this book - so much that I want to see even more of them - hopefully each of them will have their own book (you know, since I’m wishing for stuff).

This can easily be read as a stand alone although with writing this good, why miss out on the first books?

The storyline was epic and there was no way I wasn’t going to be heavily invested in the lives of these people - so much so, that I didn’t get anything done until I had the whole book read!
Honestly guys, I couldn’t put it down.

Walt Nelson is a force to be reckoned with and has a powerful name in the business world.
A man that doesn’t deviate much from his well structured life.

Until an accident leaves him with two girls that have just had their whole world come apart at the seams and are now looking to him for everything they need.

Stuff? Stuff comes easy. But the best way to deal with their delicate feelings and how to help these girls build a new life? That’s something he is struggling with.

Cue in, Samantha Abbott.

She is no stranger to grief and sorrow - she might just be what they all need to heal.

A firecracker that isn’t afraid to stand up to the formidable Walt - even in his own house.

I’m in love with Samantha! What a beautiful character she is.
Strong yet so vulnerable - caring and giving - I just wanted to reach in and hug her.

This book was an easy 5 stars for me - don’t miss out!

I'm not sure what got me on this British Billionaire kick but I am so glad it brought me to this book. My first from this author, and what an introduction to her words. Tuesday's at Six sucker punched me right in the chest. It gave me the feels and the laughs and the swoony sigh's too.

I loved how much of a mess Walt was. He was a man who threw his money at his problems but he couldn't do that with his current situation. Two kids he never knew he wanted. I loved that he had a support system and that it stemmed from the most unlikely of sources; Sam. His brother's assistant that he didn't even really like. He had a fiance, he shouldn't have noticed her. But there was something about her natural beauty and grace and her ease with the girls that called to him.

It didn't take long to see the change in the girls, Poppy and Zinnie. They clung to Sam and started to come out of their shell of grief. She whipped that household into shape and everyone benefited from her managerial prowess. But Sam was healing too. She had suffered something so devastating that nobody could even begin to fathom the depth of her anguish. And when her skeletons were laid bare, everyone's new normal was tilted way off it's axis.

I can't even begin how to put all the goodness that is this book into words. K.J. Lewis blew my mind and heart. It was struggle and loss. Friendship and family. Hope and love. Forgiveness. Loving and forgiving not just others but yourself as well. For Walt and Sam that was the hardest lesson to learn. But I loved the ride. I know that when I get a chance I'll be going back to read the other books in this series because I couldn't get enough. There was just something so charming and welcoming about this big bunch of people that love so fully.

Tuesdays at Six by KJ Lewis is the third book in the Sunday Love series. This book was so captivating and I found myself reading it in one sitting. I was so intrigued by all the relationships that developed throughout this story. It’s true what they say, it takes a village to raise a child and I loved watching that happen in this story.

This story is told through the eyes of the main character Walt Nelson. To say his life has been turned upside down and inside out would be putting it nicely. Walt always wanted his successful life to himself, except for maybe his fiance, Camilla . She is just as independent and “self-centered” as Walt is, which is probably why their relationship works so well. Walt is living in his “perfect” world until a call changes all he has built for himself. In 48 hours time, not only does he bury his best friend and his wife but also becomes guardian of their two daughters, Zinnie and Poppy. Walt is struggling and it kills him to admit he cannot do it all on his own. He ends up hiring his brother’s assistant Sam. Walt thinks the only thing that will give the girls some regulatory in their lives is to send them off to boarding school so they can be around like minded and aged children.

Sam has dealt with her own issues over the last 10 years. She has built herself up from the regret and sorrow that threaten to over take her life. It seems that this new job offered to her by her boss’s brother might be the answer to all her problems. She will have money, a place to live, and might be able to leave her past in the past for good. Unfortunately, Sam doesn’t fine resolve but instead a inner struggle between her past loss and a current love that she doesn’t think she deserves.

Tuesdays at Six (Sunday Love Book 3) by KJ Lewis, is nothing short of amazing!!!! I can't express how much I absolutely loved this book!! I went through every emotion while I was reading this story, I laughed, I cried, I swooned. Once you start reading you will not be able to put it down, I know I couldn't.
I fell in love with characters, Poppy and Zinnie are such precious girls, that your heart breaks for them. Sam has been through so much and is still dealing with her feelings from it all. It's a good thing that she has a wonderful group of friends who are helping her, support her and are also really good with the girls. Walt, whose life has completely changed since losing one of his best friends and now has his daughters to raise. Walt also has a wonderful group of friends that are there to help and support him and loves the girls just as much. It has been a rough start but now that Sam has been hired as family manager, things are moving in a better direction. Sam, Walt, and the girls still have a lot of feelings to work through, and get used to being together and what works best for them. Sam and Walt are slowly getting closer and starting to feel things that they aren't sure what to do with. Will they tell each other how they are feeling? Will they find a way to balance work and the girls, and all their grief? This is a must read!!! If you want to find out more about all the wonderful characters in this story you have to get this book, you will not be disappointed!! I give this book 5 stars, more if I could. I want to tell you so much more about the story, but I don't want to give anything away. The author did an amazing job writing this story so much so that you don't ever want it to end.

I just KNOW this will end up in my TOP 5 for 2018! OMG what a complete book. The writing/storyline is phenomenal; the characters are so down to earth and spot on in their dialog and actions that you would think you were reading a story about real life people; the sub-characters are absolutely perfect in their roles and lastly the Feels - they are simply put - off the charts. You will laugh, cry, be happy, ecstatic, angry, sad and at times even heartbroken - the book is so well written you can’t help but feel everything the characters go through. To top of off, just try and find a good spot to set it down. (I ended up reading into the wee hours - I literally couldn’t stop, I I just had to know what happened (with several issues).

Samantha (Sam) is one very strong young lady. To be around her you would think she has the world by the tail but that is so not true. She is going back to college, working as Finn’s PA (Finn is Walt’s brother) and trying to find a new place to live all while trying to keep her college funding coming in and her head above water with bills. As for Walt, he’s a handsome alpha billionaire that should also have the world by the tail but he is trying to keep his sanity as he struggles with raising two small girls who he has recently become guardian for when his buddy and his wife were killed in an auto accident and he has a fiancée who is a witch with a capital “B” to deal with (not to mention his companies, clients etc). Finally, as you can imagine, the young girls, Poppy who is 5 and Zinnie who is 15, are struggling too with everything they have lost. It’s a really bad time for all of them. Luckily for Sam she has her posse to help keep her spirits up and Walt has his. Relying on your besties can sometimes be the answer but sometimes life throws you curveballs at the worst possible time and even besties can’t help.

I can’t begin to express how wonderful this book is! The friendships, the ups, the downs, the life lessons and 2nd chances are all rolled up in a book that will make you laugh, cry and simply simply smile! I Highly recommend Tuesday at Six and if I could give it 10 stars I would because 5 is just not enough. To Ms. Lewis I say Kudo’s for an excellent book and I pray you have plans for books for all the girls and guys in the respective Posse’s because they need to be written in my humble opinion. :)

Tuesdays at Six book number 3 of the Sunday Love Series by KJ Lewis. You can read it as a standalone book but I recommend reading the two other books. The story is about how hard it can be to rebuild after a tragic loss when you’re full of grief. This story is about Walt and Samantha and how having the right person come along can make your grief less of a presence in your day to day life. Walt has lost his wife and is now a single father who is now raising his kid on his own which is not only hard because of loss but also lonely. Walt realizes he needs help with parenting because that’s one job you don’t mess up. Samantha has also just experienced a loss and is suffering in her own way while looking for a way to live her life alone now.Walt offers Samantha a job, and she takes it because she needs the money and also put things from her past in a metaphorical box to deal with when she could be stronger. Samantha finds herself feeling overwhelmed with happiness and she feels lucky to of been given an opportunity to move on through her new job and Walt’s family. I enjoyed all of the characters in this book they were written so well that you could feel what they were and it wasn’t unrealistic with how they looked and acted. I really needed to see the POV of a single father and his grieving process because I have lots of health issues and anything could happen and I always kinda wonder how my husband would react and deal with situations like that. I felt like I could see a lot of my husbands personality in Walt’s which was weird but good. I love how the author took her time written by this story it was not rushed at all

Tuesdays at 6 (Sunday Love, #3) by K.J. Lewis was everything you already know about rom-coms, but still warms your heart and simultaneously ripping out your feels.

Okay first things first, you can predict this plot/story down to a tee. But if you're like me, and love cheesy rom-coms, sweet stories that pulls at all the heart strings and, brewy characters that change with the magic of love. Then you will fall head over hells for this book. If you're not.. you're still going to fall head over hells for this book.

I'm not going to get into the story, because of its predictability any little nugget of info will ruin this lovely story. What I am going to tell you is that, this story was expertly written, the writing is smooth and the tone draws you in. And though I can think of at least six movies that this story reminds me off, non are a rip-off. This story had it's own charm, up, downs but most of all, it portrays a message of hope and forgiveness. I got lost in this book, I got in the journey that Walt, Sam, Finn and the girls had to go through. Because this story is so much more then weather Walt and Sam get together, it's about family, greaving and learning how to grow when life smashing out a window.

This story is a high recommendation from me. It will have your emotions all twisted up, stretched to their limited and, you will have a good feeling when it's all over. The ending is perfect and I wasn't left unsatisfied. I hope that we get to see more of them in laster books. Just a check in, a nod, so we knew that everything is going okay.

Happy Reading

Tuesdays at Six
By K J Lewis
5 stars

When I first read the synopsis of this book I wasn’t sure what to expect. I’m not used to reading book from a male POV so I was a little unsure but I cannot begin to explain how absolutely amazing this story was. It made me laugh, it made me blush and it made me cry! At the centre of this story are just some brilliant characters – Samantha, Finn, Zinnie, Poppy and of course Walt! I absolutely loved them all. Although this book is part of a series it could be read as a standalone. I have previously read the first book in the series so knew that I would be in for a well written story!
For me being written from Walt’s POV was perfect. It highlighted how difficult it was for him and the way his life had changed. It was interesting to see a male take on some of the things that happened. Although he was a little grouchy at the beginning I knew I was going to love him straight away and love him I did! He was just so amazing, yes he made mistakes but he coped with circumstances the way he thought best.
Samantha (Sam) was brilliant, I loved her! She wasn’t about to let Walt speak to her the way in which he wanted to! She was fierce, independent but also so kind, loving and genuine. My heart broke for her as her past emerged.
Tuesdays at Six is a beautifully written, emotionally charged story full of wonderful characters, love, romance and learning how to forgive yourself and others. I would hesitate in recommending this wonderful story – I will definitely be reading it again and again!

Tuesdays at Six was a contemporary romance novel which swept me away.

Set in New York, it’s lead character is Walt, an English finance wizard who owns a billion dollar company with his brother Finn. When we meet him, his best friends from Oxford University have died suddenly and named him as the guardian of their 2 daughters Zinnie and Poppy. He is trying to adjust to having them in his already cluttered life full time while also dealing with his grief After they scare off yet another nanny, throwing the broken family unit into even more chaos, Finn suggests his secretary Samantha could help out temporarily, Walt is not keen as he sees her as a college drop out with no qualifications, not the sort of person that his friends would have wanted as their girls’ role model. Sam has hidden secrets, however and turns all their lives around.

What Sam teaches Walt in a short space of time is how to build a real family unit, and to appreciate this gift he has been given in the guardianship of the children.

I really enjoyed this book. The characters were well written and gave us lots to empathise with. I liked the fact that the lead character was a man who needed rescuing by his friends and a woman, instead of the other way round. It was a bit of a rollercoaster of emotions for me too. I was sad one minute, happy the next: laughing and crying in turn. I thought overall it was a lovely observation of grief and recovery, of deep friendships and new beginnings. Fantastic.

Tuesdays at Six is an emotional, tug-on-your-heartstrings read.

This book, written from a male point of view, takes us on the journey of Walt as he struggles with grief of losing close friends and assuming responsibility for Zinnie and Poppy, the two orphaned daughters.

Walt’s life has been turned upside down. He is admittedly selfish, and was focused on a life that leaves no room for children. In this turmoil, he makes the rash decision to hire Samantha as the girl’s nanny, leading to a further upheaval of his life in ways he never imagined.

Samantha may not be a professional nanny but she understands grief and what it means to have no family. With her direction, this group of strangers slowly work towards understanding each other and what it means to be a family, even if this family has no blood ties.

The attraction between Samantha and Walt is immediate, well to us readers it is, but their romance is a slow burn as Samantha begins to lower her emotional walls while Walt gradually realises that he no longer desires the life he once thought he did. And when they get together they are hot.

I found the writing and character development to be well balanced. Walt’s a work in progress throughout while Samantha remains a mystery for a large part of the book. The revelations of her past life provide the catalyst for all characters to think about the meaning of love, forgiveness and family.

This was a great read and I highly recommend it.

One word. WOW!
Either I have turned into a major sop or authors are getting better at writing awesome emotional stories. This was yet another book that had me in tears. This one more so than any of the others I’ve read recently. KJ Lewis has done an amazing job at grabbing you in all the feels.
Walt Nelson’s world was turned upside down when his best friends died and left him as guardian for their two daughters Zinnie and Poppy. Walt had no intentions of ever having children and now here he is as guardian of grieving 15 year old Zinnie and 5 year old Poppy.
Samantha Abbott works as a PA for Walt’s brother Finn but is looking for a new job and somewhere to live. Finn talks Walt into giving Sam a trial as a live in nanny.
This is an emotional story of the trials and tribulations of dealing with grief and also Walt and Sam’s growing attraction to each other. Added to the mix are Walt’s bunch of guy friends and Sam’s group of girls. These additional characters add much to the story as they help Walt and Sam with the girls.
Tuesdays at Six is the third novel in the Sunday Love series but can be read as a standalone. I had not read the first two books and didn’t feel that any of the story was missing as a result. However, having LOVED this book so much I will definitely be reading the others in the series.
This is a MUST read. The story is beautiful and emotional and takes you on an amazing journey.

Tuesdays at Six- K.J. Lewis

5-star review

Tuesdays at Six by K.J. Lewis is a phenomenal must-read book! It has such a heartwarming storyline that pulled me right in. This was the first book I've read from K.J. but I can assure you it won't be my last. From the very beginning I felt so invested in the characters, I didn't want their story to end. In fact, while I can usually read a book in one sitting I wasn't able to do that with this one, as getting to the end was a bittersweet moment. I'm so happy with the way Walt and Samantha's story played out but I feel like now that it's over a part of me is missing.

This story is told so beautifully that I felt like I knew all the characters personally, as if I was a part of their group. I managed to connect and relate with each character, while some were instant connections others like Walt grew slowly. Walt's character developed so well that I went from hating him to completely loving him. And I absolutely loved Sam, she was feisty, honest, protective and so caring. The love she had for the girls was inspirational! Each and every character added so much to this story and without them it wouldn't be the same.

This book had me laughing so hard many times, but it also had me shedding lots of tears, it was so well rounded, and it ended up being way better than I had expected. I honestly couldn't praise K.J. Lewis enough. This book has been added to my list of favorites and I would absolutely recommend it to others!

I have been following this author from the start. I can truthfully say she has never let me down and seems to get better and better with each book.

This book was more emotional for me, the fact that Walt becomes a single father and the train was losing his best friend, it hit me hard even though I have no experience with that. The girls were amazing and my heart really broke for them, but watching them come out of their shell, it was truly amazing.

Walt was very gruff. I loved that about him, but seeing him slowly change was another factor of this book that filled my heart with so many emotions that I wasn’t sure wether to smile or cry at the end.

Sam was amazing right from the start I knew I would love her and her ability to take the rains and help this new family out. Seeing everything she went through, made me ball my eyes out. She’s such an amazing woman and my heart broke for her.

I really could go on and on about every aspect of the story but that doesn’t change the fact that you need to read the story to feel the depth of emotions that this author invoked. I loved seeing some of my favorite characters from the other books and hope (like really really hope) that Finn gets a book soon! I love him in Sunday’s With You and seeing him more in-depth in this one just showed that my love was real. 5 stars #2OCCJD

A family is not only one you are born into, but a group of your own selection. I have never seen that be any truer than in Tuesdays At 6, an amazing, powerful, emotional story of personal forgiveness, grace, hope, grief, loss and unconditional love.

The story is told completely through Walt's POV, and I love how that gives the reader the insight of how an aloof wealthy bachelor transforms into a single father to a sullen teenager and a kindergartener.

The growth that Walt goes through in this book is amazing. The man who forgets all about little Poppy in Chapter 1 is not the same man at the end of the book. And the reader goes along on that journey, as KJ Lewis outlines every step, every second thought, every decision in her narrative.

And Sam. Poor Sam. I was so anxious to get to what her backstory is, and once it was revealed, my heart broke for her. Walt, Poppy and Zinnie heal her broken soul in the same way that she mends their fractured, unconventional family ties. Add in their motley crew of friends, and this is one group that I'd love to spend a Tuesday At 6 with.

My only complaint about this book was the rather abrupt end. I wish it had an epilogue, tying up loose ends amongs the other characters. I can only hope that they will be featured in future stories, where some of those unanswered questions are addressed!

I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.

Tuesdays at Six by K. L. Lewis

This is the third book in the Sunday Love stories. K. L. Lewis does an outstanding job story telling. She keeps your interest with every page you turn. Now I have to admit that I did not read the other two books and it is ok. This story can be a standalone book, but personally I am going to go and read the other two. This story intrigues me because it was the POV from the husband who lost his best friend, his wife. Walt was an emotional wreck himself. Now he has two daughters from the death of a close friend. This is a broken family but it has so much to give and that is what Walt, Zinnie, and Poppy needs to figure out.

Walt is having a hard time keeping Nannies as the two girls scare them off. Walt’s friend, Finn suggests that he knows someone for the job. Her name Is Samantha and she is Finn’s secretary. Walt gives her a try and all of the sudden there was a connection and a good fit for the family. As the book goes on you hear the story of Walt and Sam relationship and the relationship with his girls.

One can only see the beauty of a family that was broken and not sure where to go from here, to a family who loves unconditionally because they were able to show forgiveness where it was needed. There are powerful messages and it is worth the long hours of reading to finish in one sitting.
