This was not so much a book as a mix of gossip. The only reason I gave it two stars is it's about people I know from my home town. I somewhat enjoyed the family history aspect. It needs serious editing help. Mr. Clarke has written some fine books in the past but I think he is running out of material.

Disjointed and no real timeline plot, just a collection of heard this and that.
